Kuri quickly walked up to the door of the second floor apartment she shared with her father. She dug her keys out of a pocket and proceeded to open the door, quickly closing it behind her. The lights were off inside, which would mean no one was in. She quickly fumbled around for the light switch, turning on all of the lights in the main lounge/kitchen room that made up most of the apartment. She really hated being alone in this place, especially in the dark.
With the lights on she quickly bolted to her room, where she again switched the light on first of all. She dived onto her plushie-covered bed and crawled over the reach her little nightstand on the opposite side. She pulled the drawer open and slipped the paper with Valken's number on it carefully inside it. Once it was covered with one of her books she closed the drawer and laid back on her bed with a sigh.
Kuri let the illusion hiding her wings fade, and stretched the two grey feathered limbs to their fullest. She always had to keep them still when under the illusion and it really made them start to hurt after a little while. One of her hands reached across to grab a plushie wolf that wasn't too far from her, hugging it tightly to her body. It wasn't quite as comforting as Valken had been but it was better then nothing. Her other hand rubbed along her wing until she reached the sore point where she had removed a feather. The wound had healed up quickly so there was only a tiny amount of blood on the surrounding feathers.
She sat up slowly, bringing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her wings around herself. She held the plushie on her knees in front of her before dropping her head, hiding from the world inside the darkness of her wings with only the wolf as company. Her thoughts turned to what she was going to do now that she had told her secret to someone, would things get better or worse? The answers her mind gave her were mostly negative ones but it didn't take her long to drift onto thinking about Valken more and how much she just wanted to be around him again. Her eyes slowly closed as she drifted off, dreaming happily for the first time since gaining her wings.

Orvasrin unlocked the door to the apartment and stepped inside closing the door behind him. He noticed that the lights were on, which would mean Kuri was home but since she wasn't around she was probably asleep, one less thing to worry about. His eyes quickly glanced over the pair of sofas in the lounge area to make sure she hadn't fallen asleep there again. Satisfied he moved over the the kitchen and set the bag down, putting the meat into freezer and leaving the whiskey on the side out of the way.
"Well this is it," Orvasrin started, before pointing to the door behind him. "My room's through there, as is the main bathroom. The door on the other side goes to the other bedroom that my underling uses. Feel free to sleep wherever you wish and generally make yourself at home." He gave Ryusei a rub on the head before sliding the box of charms into a draw. After crumbling the plastic bag down he was left with the plushie fox on the side.

"Of course, my lord," Ryusei said softly, leaping onto the armrest of the sofa. She stretched out her claws in the air as she sat. "What is on the agenda for tomorrow, sir?"
The dragoness opened one slitted eye with a smile and a flick of her tail. She turned straight and jumped off of the sofa, transforming into the 5' 11" silver-haired woman from the bar again. She took off her skullcap and hand-brushed her hair behind slightly-pointed ears. "Oh, and do you mind if I lose this illusion of human while I'm here, in the apartment? It gets rather annoying..."
She snapped her fingers and a polyester bag flopped from nowhere. She opened it and pulled out a simple kimono and wrapped herself in it. She bent and pulled off her cargoes without any qualms of the fact that she was airily undressing in front of her master. She tossed her pants and shirt into the bag at the same time she was tying a thin sash around her waist. Ryusei glanced up at Orvasrin with dangerously-glittering ochre eyes for his reply.

"Well I'm going to get those wards set up, I also have an appointment to pick up a little something I've had made. There’s a few more items I need to track down so we can pay a visit to your friend if you want." Orvasrin rattled off as he picked up the fox toy and walked across the room towards Kuri's bedroom. He turned back to face her as she voiced her second question.
"Whatever makes you feel the most comfortable my pet," He replied with a smile as his eye flicked over her briefly. He might have to speak to her about being quite so relaxed with the other one around. "However I will need to clear up a few things about the situation here, but first I have something to attend to. I'll be right back." He gave Ryusei a final glance over before turning back and heading for the door once again. He had thought this body was fully under his control but apparently he was mistaken, something was off though because if he hadn't dominated the other personality yet why wasn't it actively fighting him. He had a hunch and now he was going to test that theory.

"Make a list of what you need. I'll ask Shinzo for it personally, to avoid any lapses," Ryusei said firmly and with a faint smile. She brushed her hair back and it instantly gained black strands along with the silver. Sable stretched-out V-shaped markings blossomed under her eyes, which now gained red conjunctiva and black slits.
The dragoness sat down with a haphazardly-placed military magazine. "That is fine. Take your time, my lord," she said distantly, quietly reading the magazine that rested on her lap. Black talons turned the page with a quiet zzzzip! Ryusei placed her bag by the endtable, crossed her legs, and continued to read.

"Then I'll write up the list tomorrow." Orvasrin nodded back to the dragoness quickly before slowly opening the door and moving inside, closing it just as slowly behind him. Kuri was lying on her side curled up with one of her toys. His gaze slowly dropped to the toy in his own hand.
"So I'm going to assume you are only cooperating for your daughter's sake," Orvasrin whispered to himself. Bringing his eyes back up to the girl on the bed.
'I accepted my part of the bargain freely. As long as my daughter is safe I care little for what you do.' A voice echoed from somewhere deep in his mind. So the man was indeed still here that would explain how easy his control of the body had been. He was giving up control rather than fighting back.
“You know what I have in mind though and you know your daughter is also being possessed. How do you see yourself winning from this arrangement?” There was no answer but he didn’t really need one, he could feel what this bodies remaining soul was feeling. “Fine, so long as you never attempt to force my control the I’ll let you have your precious time with your daughter. Remember though, as soon as I need to I will strip her mind just as I will yours.” Again there was no reply but again there was the feeling of understanding.
Kuri had rolled over towards the door, her eyes slowly opening at the sound of talking to see her father at the doorway. “Daddy?” she asked groggily, still extremely tired from the night’s events. She still managed to give him a smile though.
Orvasrin’s face softened as he moved over to the bed and crouched down so that he was at eye level with the girl. “Sorry angel I didn’t want to wake you,” his voice now softer as it had been before he gave himself to this path, “Hey look what I got you.” He placed the fox plushie he had bought on the bed in front of her with a slight smile on his face.
“You know I’m not exactly a kid anymore.” She mock protested in reply, her smile still clearly visible as she played with the fox’s ears. It wasn’t long before she yawned again though, her eyes flickering shut before opening quickly again.
“Your tired.” Orvasrin stated leaning over and giving the girl a hug. “Get some rest. I can speak to you later on okay.” He held Kuri close to him as she put her arms around him in return. They stayed like that until he noticed that she had fallen back to sleep. Without waking her he put her back down on the bed, placing the fox plushie under her arm. She gripped it happily and smiled in her sleep as Orvasrin left the room once more. This was worth it…it had to be.
Soon that thought was gone from his mind as he his body switched back to it’s new master, a slight sigh escaping him as he moved down to sit on the sofa that was unoccupied. Letting his head fall back onto the cushions as he thought over this new problem.

"Is something wrong, sir?" Ryusei asked, calmly tilting her head as she gazed at him lying on the sofa, suddenly knowing his ordeal without him responding. She pulled up the shoulder of the kimono falling off and retied her sash irritably before shuffling to Orvasrin's side with the war magazine and a cup and saucer of one of her odd calming brews. She pushed her zebra hair behind her shoulders with a small smile as she sat down the drink regardless of whether he wanted it or not. "It's better cold," Ryusei stated, gesturing to the fact that ice was forming in the drink from her hand.
She bent forward and felt his forehead and cheeks as if checking for a fever, and then placed a taloned hand over Orvasrin's heart. "Master, if there is anything you need to suppress the other, do not hesitate to call me," Ryusei said softly, lifting her hand. She turned elegantly and slipped away into the bathroom. The water squeaked on and the door shut quietly, only to bear the cleaned Bloodmoon twenty minutes later.

You are full of surprises aren't you," Orvasrin replied, looking down at the drink with a smile. "I don't know if that will be necessary, he doesn't have any reason to break his side of the bargain at this stage of things. Later on though I may need to deal with him more firmly." He watched her disappear to the bathroom and then turned his attention to the drink. By the time Ryusei returned he had drained the cup and returned to a more normal sitting position.
"The girl is in the same way, this man's daughter and my underling. My underling will probably see you as trying to cut in on her reward for aiding me so 'loyally'. The girl, Kuri, on the other hand may see you as trying to take her father away from her or trying to replace her mother. To solve the first problem I'll relay all of my orders to you directly. The second problem would probably be remedied if you stayed in your cat form around the girl, I have no wish to fore you to do that however." Orvasrin rattled this off perhaps somewhat pointlessly since she seemed to have a good idea of what he was thinking about anyway. Still if he said it out loud he knew that she wouldn't be able to misinterpret anything. He leaned an arm on the back of the couch, waiting to see Ryusei's response. Once he knew she was clear on these points he could go and rest without having to worry about waking up to a fight.

Ryusei bent in a small bow. "Of course, master," she said quietly, her black and red eyes lowered. She pulled her kimono to the side as she sat down by him, pausing to place the magazine on her lap.
Slitted irises turned to Orvasrin. "You are honored to have enough patience to deal with this...girl. Few of my kind are as forgiving as you are," she stated and then held up her palm to stare at her talons for a moment. Ryusei smiled, resisting the urge to laugh rather callously. "'Taking away her father or replacing her mother'? Ah, such prejudice. A dragon would eat them both and be done with the matter," she joked.
Growing sober once again, Ryusei looked ahead. "But this girl and you...," she sighed and looked at Orvasrin directly. "Being a dragon, I inherited a special immune system so I do not understand the properties of possession fully."
The Bloodmoon took a pen and a piece of scrap paper and began to draw a diagram: a silhouette of her body and a little dragon outline within the frame. "Our immune system can block any outside force, with training, of course. Like you mortals who have vaccines, we acquire different immunities with age." She drew a different dragon where her eyes were. "My eyes have separate circulation than my body but that's both a bad and good thing. If I am knocked unconscious, my eyes still work...power-wise, so remember to blind-fold me if you ever find me dormant, but that's another statement," she added. "Anyway, this immune system will attack any outside force. I know that a possession occurs in either mind and soul so anyone who tries to possess me will have either of those shattered."
"I guess what I'm trying to say is that...what happened that he got possessed? I am afraid that I do not fully comprehend a possession," Ryusei finished, hoping that she wasn't rambling too much. She also needed to give Orvasrin her book, to seal the contract.

Orvasrin considered Ryusei’s words and drawings silently before turning to her. “Ideally for a possession you already inhabit a body that way you can take the time to break the mind of your new body before transferring to it. That’s the general ideal anyway, it varies depending on race.” He told his listener before turning his eyes forward again, his voice gaining an edge of nostalgia. “Now my dear I think it’s time for a little history lesson.”
“I belong to a race of demons known as the Harundal, or at least that was our name the last time I walked this earth freely, feared among even our demon brethren for our power and ruthlessness. Essentially from birth we are taught to learn from those more powerful than ourselves and to wait for the opportunity to kill them and assume their position. Needless to say a lot of other races find our ways a little hard to swallow, but it does keep us strong,” he smirked almost happily recalling some fond memories. “I worked my way to near the top of the stack of our kind in Europe around the first century of these humans calendar. I bided my time for another four hundred years before securing myself as the dominant Harundal in the region. That time let me prepare myself for the constant challenges I would face.”
Orvasrin turned his eyes back to Ryusei’s own as he continued, noticeably getting lost in telling the story of his glory days now. “Under the guise of one Lord Tirvos I settled in England around the year 600, set myself up in a castle and slowly worked up a power base. Given the general collapse in order after the fall of the Roman Empire the lands were ripe for my rule. Sadly however that was not to be,” He sighed a little, taking a moment to gather his thoughts. “News of my dealings in dark magic and other questionable areas was leaked to the surrounding lands though, probably by one of my underlings, and it wasn’t long until they showed up.
“A rebel group headed by demon slayers infiltrated my castle, well I say a group I think there were around fifty in all, of which I had the pleasure of disembowelling seventeen personally. There was that one though. He reeked of celestial interference, bested my human body, crippled my natural form and then sacrificed himself with his dying breath to trap my soul into a damn blessed gemstone. Rezerai,” He clenched a fist as he recited the name, venom now thick in his voice, “that was the man’s name. I was trapped in that stone, my body destroyed, my powers eroded, my only company the one underling who was close enough to be trapped in the sealing spell with me.” He didn’t think he needed to point out who that underling was.
“This man, the true Orvasrin, was a collector of occult artefacts and ancient treasures. I was able to draw off some of the residual power of nearby items to eventually convince him to break the seal and release me, thusly I attempted to take his mind. His wife had died of an illness…some form of cancer. His daughter was handled my underling since her abilities seemed a little less restricted, possibly because she wasn’t the target of the seal. She was killed by a curse then we took her fleeting soul and kept it with us for the remaining time it took her father to free me.” He continued, his voice now at it’s normal tone again. “I set about raising the child’s body as soon as I was free and putting her fractured soul into it. Since I lack my demon form I needed to reform one, which requires a lot of…raw materials. My underling oversees the girl’s collection of what I need to regain my true form. That way my body is not in direct risk of damage.”
He kept himself turned towards Ryusei for now, that had been a lot of information so he wouldn’t be surprised if she wished to ask more questions of him.

Everything Orvasrin just stated clicked like a lock within Ryusei's memory, especially the name Rezerai. She looked pensive for a moment, thinking. She nodded in understanding.
With a faint smile, she rested her head on her hand. "Well, my past is perhaps equally or more bloody than yours. In order for our final trait to be given, we must be killed. Then, our predescessor gives us the trait, and we are revived at full strength, similar to a phoenix, and carry the weight of our ancestors. If being the wife of a Japanese demon lord is hard, try falling in love with a rival lord's son whose mother is your best friend only to have the son kill you when you confess your feelings." The Bloodmoon sighed heavily.
"But I came back, as dictated, and ripped off his arm in my rage. My best friend defended him from me and took me several centuries out of the Feudal Era. I was an assassin there, but on one mission, my best friend--who had become my master--was slain. But she told me to go here, to Cheshire, to find a new master, but I didn't listen. I was angry and disgusted with myself, for letting her die, for basically killing her." Her dark eyes saddened. "I lay dormant underground in my true form, layered with ice." Her voice was laced with self-hatred and angst.
"But I found you after journeying here. I had to train on the way here and that's how I met Shinzo and he guided me here to Cheshire. Then I found you...at the pub, so now my mission has changed. It is whatever you wish for it to be," Ryusei said, giving him a hardcover book bound in elegantly-embroidered green velvet. "This book is your contract to me." She opened the first page, which was written entirely in a majestically-written ornate language. A small peacock feather quill lay docilely inside the pages.
"Think of this as your...diary, I guess you could say. If you are touching it, it can read your thoughts and put them to words. However, unless you learn Koridoryupon, you cannot read it. If you are in danger, you simply need to touch the book and think my name and I will be there," the Bloodmoon explained.
She gave Orvasrin a thoughtful glance. "Master, should I meet this...Rezerai, do you...wish for me to dispose of him, or at least try to?" Ryusei cocked her head like a curious kitten.

As Ryusei told her own tale of past pains Orvasrin brought up a hand and brushed his fingers lightly through her hair. “Seems we’ve both had our own ordeals, perhaps this meeting was not so much one of chance as one of fate.” He gave her a soft smile and withdrew his hand, turning now to the book. A demon he may have been but that didn’t mean he couldn’t sympathise with her feelings. Although the idea of love was generally shunned in his society he had learnt enough from this mans memories to see the effect it could have on people.
“Well I have always been open to learning new things, I’ll invest some time into learning it.” He placed the book on his lap, giving the writing a quick glance over. “It’ll be good to know you’re a simple thought away.” He closed the book once more, turning back to Ryusei at her last question.
“That man is dead. I had the satisfaction of watching him perish as he sealed me. A celestial may have helped him but he was mortal, the sealing spell was too much for his weakened body to handle and his soul was sacrificed as the seal. When the stone of Fri, as the gem I was trapped in became known, was shattered the remnants of his soul should have been as well.” That was at least a slight relief, not having to worry about that one problem.
“As for my mission, right now it’s simply to regain my power. Then perhaps I’ll try to build up a name for myself here, but that concern is one for the future.” He let his eyes focus on Ryusei’s for a moment before adding. “If you have anything you wish to do for yourself then I shall offer my aid to you in return for yours.

Her eyes closed in pleasure at the hands through her hair. "Ah, are hearts only meant to lie? Are people just puppets of fate?" she thought solemnly, but then Ryusei brushed that aside and turned to the book with a smile.
"I will teach you if you wish," she said quietly, tracing the embroidery on the green velvet.
At Orvasrin's response of 'that man is dead', Ryusei rested her head on her palm in exasperation. "That's the problem with mortals. They do not understand that their bodies are not meant for magic. Even gifted mortals do not know their limit. The magic required to make or break a seal is roughly equivalent to a gifted mortal's magic quantity."
She lifted her heavy-lidded sable and scarlet irises to him. "As your servant, I will do whatever I can to help you achieve your goal. I require nothing except to be shown proper respect, but that will not be an immediate problem. I would not have chosen you if I thought I would have to eat you upon giving you my book." Ryusei smiled toothily. "And also, have you had many problems around here? Burglaries, people watching too closely, suspicious movements?" Her eyes flared like poisonous fire and a malicious grin cracked the elegant features on her face. The room suddenly dropped twenty degrees.
"The reason I ask is because I wish to know if you want me to save the bones or dispose of them." Ryusei's visage returned to the mystical smile and the room rose back to normal. "If not...," the Bloodmoon waved a pale black-clawed hand as she rose majestically, "then I won't worry about that." She picked up her military magazine and paused in case he said more.

“Well having a tutor would certainly be helpful,” Orvasrin nodded to Ryusei at the offer to teach him the language.
He lifted up an arm and held it out straight, flexing the fingers. “Unfortunately the same limitation applies to me while I lack a true demonic form. I fear I may break the body if I try to form the body to my desires. At least until I have the appropriate materials in place.” His arm dropped back to his side.
“It’s nice to know I can look forward to not being on your snack list for now.” He responded with a chuckle, letting it subside before continuing. “I can’t say I have had any problems thus far but should you find yourself snacking on a burglar then I would ask you dispose of the bones, the less attention I draw to myself the better right now.”
Orvasrin sighed once more before standing up, stretching his arms over his head. “I’m going to go rest now unless you have any further questions you want answered right now. As far as sleeping goes you can have the sofa, or if you would prefer something more comfortable the bed in my room is large enough for two. Feel free to tamper with the air con until you are more comfortable.” He gave Ryusei a final glance over before moving towards the door that would lead him towards his bedroom.

Ryusei nodded in acquiescence. "Whatever is convenient for you," she said, playing with a string of black and white hair.
She nodded, gazing at the extended arm for a moment. "I understand. I will do my best." For a moment, Rasika flashed in place of Orvasrin, holding a loving hand to her. She gave him a wan smile at his chuckle and bent her head. "I'll be sure to do that," Ryusei said with an amused expression.
When Orvasrin stood, she bowed. "Good night, sir." At the same time the Bloodmoon bowed, she crouched down into the form of the white and black cat. With a flick of her tail and a rub against her master's leg, she padded off towards his bedroom. She leapt onto the end of the bed and curled deep into the rifts of the covers, closing her ochre eyes with a loud purr. A cold cloud settled over where she slept, so as not to disturb the others with her need of frigidness.

Orvasrin moved into the bedroom and hung his jacket on coat hook before moving into the bathroom to clean up. A while later he returned to the bedroom, after turning off the lights that had been left on, now wearing only a light pair of trousers. He smiled a little at the sight of Ryusei curled up at the end of the bed before moving to the far side of the bed. He slipped under the quilt and quickly managed to dose off, knowing that he was going to have a very busy and probably tiring day tomorrow.

((W00t for morning!))
Hazel eyes opened to a cold morning, following by the yawning mouthful of teeth. Ryusei blinked and stretched, nuzzling her furry white flank. She sat up, grooming herself for a moment. She turned and saw Orvasrin, smiling. She padded over to him, placing her paws on his warm shoulder and neck. "Master, master, master, what do you want for breakfast?" she asked brightly. She hopped over his shoulder and nearly fell off the bed. Swallowing a surprised yowl, she put a cold paw on his forehead and then bent down to nibble his ear. "Wake up, my lord," Ryusei said, prodding the other. She stared at the clock: 7: 58 am.

Orvasrin let out a groan as he shifted around on the bed, his eyes opening at the nibble on his ear and cold on his head. "You know I don't remember asking for an alarm clock," he smirked as his eyes fell on Ryusei. He shifted himself slowly into a sitting position, snapping out his arm to silence the impending burst of noise from the clock as the numbers flicked to display 8:00.
"Some toast will be fine," he replied, stroking Ryusei's head with a hand. "I need to get going in a while anyway." Withdrawing his hand he stood up off the bed, stretching his arms above his head and letting out a yawn. Grabbing some clothes from one of his drawers he moved off into the bathroom to wash, reappearing soon afterwards with refreshed and dressed before moving into the main room.

Ryusei cocked her head to the side with a droll smile. "You're welcome," she said softly, leaping off the bed to pad to the door as Orvasrin disappeared into the bathroom. She landed in a crouch as a "human" and pulled on the heavy silk kimono hanging on Orvasrin's door, shutting it delicately behind her.
Once she was in the kitchen, she pulled out pancake mix, bread, and bacon, tossing two on the stove pan and one in the toaster. Ryusei drew up plates and cups. A half-hour later, pancakes and bacon were sitting on one plate while toast was sitting on the other, near a canister of marmalade and butter. Ryusei bowed to the food for thanks.
And then her ears perked. Something...or someone was outside the door. Her eyes flashed and she sprinted up the door. Two punks were outside shaking canisters of spraypaint. One had long greasy hair and tons of piercings, the other a green mohawk and eye makeup. Ryusei growled and threw open the door. "One moment, Master, and I'll get your orange juice," she growled, slamming the door shut.

Orvasrin's eyes glanced over the plates of food as he came back into the main room, he was almost regretting not asking for something a little more extravagant looking at what she had already prepared, but that wasn't overly important. After all he didn't have the time to eat anything complex and toast suited him fine. He might have to explore the dragonesses cooking talents later on though.
He caught her sudden shift of attention to the door and nodded to her with a smirk, "Take your time my dear." A little demonstration of her willingness to deal with perceived threats wasn't something he was about to pass up, so he'd let her have her fun with the pair he could sense behind the door.
As the door closed his thoughts turned to Kuri for a moment before he picked up the toast and started to butter it.

Muffled screams resounded from outside the door, along with the grating noise of claws on wood and teeth on bone. Then there was a single shriek cut off by the sound of rent flesh. Ryusei threw the door open in a rage, storming around the kitchen looking for a trashbag as the greasy-haired haired one was seen crucified to the door across the hall. The second had no legs or hands. The door shut again to cover the racket of a foot connecting with what sounded like a smashed pumpkin. Ryusei entered the foyer again, holding a tied trashbag in one hand that she dumped near the freezer. With a growling mumble of her language, she poured antibacterial and freezing water on her face and hands, ferociously scrubbing off pieces of flesh, blood, and bone.
When that fiasco was finished, Ryusei sighed heavily and began tossing two eggs onto the sizzling pan, scrambling them with a dose of cheese. Unfortunately, the dragoness was only taught simple skills of cooking. Fighting was her forte, not food. The silver-haired woman exhaled and poured the eggs onto a plate along with some bacon, sitting it next to Orvasrin even though he had asked for toast. Pulling out a container of orange juice, she filled up his cup.
She bowed again and pulled out a bowl for her food. The dragoness kneeled before the trashbag containing her capturees and using an object shaped like a Pooper-Scooper, she began scooping bloody pink, beige, and red blobs into her bowl. Ryusei smiled at the still-beating red blob and poked it with her fork playfully. Sitting it on the counter, she glanced at Orvasrin. "Do you need anything before I sit down and eat? Forgive my eating habits, sir... I have been raised from birth to consume flesh."

Orvasrin didn't so much as look up while Ryusei tended to her business outside. He had just finished spreading the marmalade on the last piece of toast as Ryusei returned with her bag. Taking a bite out of one of the slices of toast, he turned his eyes to Ryusei while she scrubbed herself clean. "You know you've just reminded me of another reason why I want my old body back. It's not really easy to tear people apart with this thing," he smirked to her before turning back to his food. At least he knew how efficient his new ally was at disposing of things, although perhaps she was a little less subtle than he would like, as least until he had regained some strength.
The extra food was placed down just as he had managed to make good headway through what he already had in front of him. He sighed a little but made no complaint. It seemed he was going to be well looked after. Again he was finding the perks of having a properly loyal servant to be ones he was certainly going to enjoy.
"Please my dear, you've already done more than you needed to so sit down and enjoy your food. As for your eating habits you have no need to worry, I've done more than my fair share of meat eating. Just make sure you check it for bones before you eat it," he smiled over to her with his jest before turning his full attention back to finishing the meal before him.

Ryusei grinned cheerily. "I'll make sure to do that, and I made some pancakes for...Kuri," she said, sitting on the floor to transform into the cat once more. She hunkered down over her food and began wolfing down large meaty chunks hungrily, licking some from her chops. Her tail wagged across the floor like a dog's. She devoured the heart with a large swallow before climbing to the counter via open drawers, placing her bloody bowl in the sink. She turned the sink nozzle to rinse it out before padding down to the floor with a smile.
The black-muzzled cat leapt onto Orvasrin's lap affectionately and curled up faithfully. "Do you think she'll try to cuddle me?" Ryusei asked reproachfully, in a tone hinting towards the one when she had told her master to wait a moment for his orange juice.

"It's possible, I'll tell her that you're still not used to being handled so she'll hopefully just stick to petting." Orvasrin replied as he continued to finish up his meal. "Thank you for taking the time to cook for her though." He moved a hand down to rub behind Ryusei's ears as he took the glass of juice in his other hand. Evidently Ryusei still wasn't very happy with the idea of his other underling but with any luck he could keep the two from trying to gut each other.
The clicking of a door handle turned his attention to the other bedroom door just as it slowly opened with a grey haired girl peeking round from it. "Good morning Kuri, you've got some pancakes here to eat," he called to her in a tone a little softer than his usual one.
"Oh, thank you. I just thought I heard some...never mind." Kuri spoke softly before moving out of the doorway and into the main room. Her wings were still unhidden and she had the fox plusie that Orvasrin had bought at the store under her arm. She walked over to the other side of the kitchen counter as Orvasrin slid the plate of pancakes over to her. She picked up the fork Orvasrin had slid over and tucked into the pancakes while standing up.

Ryusei purred at the pet and lifted up her head to eye Kuri. Black ears poked above the top of the table before the wide ochre eyes. She mewed and placed a paw on the table, gazing at the girl. Wings? What on earth--? the dragoness growled, sitting her head on the table next to the paw. Her irritable tail swept across Orvasrin's lap.
"You're welcome, sir...."
Her hollow voice seemed to be bodiless for the cat's mouth did not move when she spoke. In all respects, Ryusei was a ventriloquist when it came to being in cat and dragon forms. She purred.
