The Monastery

Black walnuts trees line the paths that lead to the forlorn monastery of fallen branches, broken roof tiles, and mostly-together walls that sometimes keep most of the weather out. Sunshine seeps through the cracks, illuminating a long-lost courtyard that was the home of monks. The ominous presence rumored to live here is a friendly loner and a jack-of-all-trades. He's a physician, a mediator, a general, and a caring young monk, a monk that looks too young compared to the area. His territory is marked by several landmarks.
