Biting down hard on his lip, turning it stark white, Lukias was regretting this, now. He'd been sure he was going to.. He'd realized how much, too. He'd just..Well. He'd chosen not to think about the impending anxiety. It was one of those things like carrying something fragile in one hand, or..Or following a strange man to an unfamiliar place. He knew, very well, that it was not a good idea, but he couldn't quite bring himself to take his own advice and avoid it. He'd done both in the past twenty-four hours, and ended up breaking the glass out of a picture frame before he'd left his apartment, and the second careless action had led to, among an immense amount of other things..This. Likely mistake number three.
What kind of supplies could taking care of a wierd little..Beast..Changeling, that was it. What kind of supplies would he need, anyways? A reinforced iron cage, maybe, if he wanted to sleep through the night without losing any limbs. Not for the first time, he cast a glance around the immediate area surrounding their legs, looking for a blood-caked mass of brown-and-black fur. The stupid little thing had pulled a vanishing act the instant the door had opened back at the warehouses, and he'd not seen hide nor hair of it since. Maybe it was still back in the boxes catching more rats..Or stalking Kane..Or something.. But, what if it was gone? He felt an unexpected little pang at the thought. While he supposed he should be thinking that he would be lucky if it was, that he'd get to keep all of his remaining blood and skin from the little beast, he really would be unhappy if it had just scampered off. Telling himself that it was probably likely to jump out onto the other blonde's feet at any moment, he took a deep breath, trying to focus on the immediate issue of mentally preparing himself for..Whatever..It was he was likely to see. A little stab of irritation pressed at the back of the mind as he realized that, for maybe the third time, he didn't know where Kane was taking him. Well, he did know where. Just not where that 'where' happened to be.
Again glancing down at his feet, his gaze passed over Kane's hand on the way and he was struck by a sudden, potentially embarassing little desire. He looked back up again, prepared to ignore the impulse until it flitted out of his mind to go bother someone else, before a new thought struck him. The other blonde had pulled so much crap, in just one night, sexual harassment(Whether it was of the enjoyable or unenjoyable variety, he thought) and fear-inducing stunts alike. So why should he be hesitant to do such a little thing? He really needed to stop being so uptight about what he would and wouldn't do, he thought. He'd already decided he was fine with the affections the vampire aimed at him(Well, for the most part. He wasn't going to complain at least). Reaching out, he grabbed ahold of the other's hand, lacing pale fingers through Kane's as casually as he could. That was tame, he thought, irritable with himself. Kane had attacked him, compared to that.. And.. He'd just tolerated it up until then, hadn't he? Save a very breif protest. He must've been stupid. Past his worry that the vampire had just been playing with him.. He should've done better than just sitting there. He really was stupid, he thought. But at least he was distracted from the probably more pressing matter of whatever freakishness he was about to get thrown into.

(( Ooc: But oh so fun XD ))
Kane grinned as he lead him once more through the city streets, heading back to the Church of Roses once more. He almost stopped as pale digits laced with his own. He slowed for a moment. Giving the man a gentle squeeze of his flesh before starting once more down the city streets. He acted as if he owned the town and all were his servants. With a sudden turn left, then right again, past the bar where this had all began he made his way to the Church. Waving the man back behind it as he walked through the ghastly graves.
“ This way, come on.” He motioned. Waving the youthful man through the maze of stones and crypts, as they neared the back there stood a grand statue of the arch angel Michael. Brandishing a spear forward as if protecting the city from evil. This only caused the man to grin a bit.
“ Right here.” He whispered as he took the man about the back of the statue. Hitting a few points on the stone caused a blue glowing outline to form. A magical doorway of course. After this Kane placed his hand in the center. Muttering something in old French before the door slid open.
“ There’s more security here since we had some humans wonder in, we try our best to keep this all secret, by our ancient pacts.” He explained as he then motioned to help the man down the dark steps. His eyes used to the dark and knowing how to move since he could see as if it was day it’s self.
“ Hold onto me.” He whispered. Carefully guiding them through the catacombs under the city. Passing older crypts and such till he took a sharp right and then another sharp left. He grinned as he waved his hand before him as the tunnel ended, and there before them was a massive cavern full of light, lanterns, glowing figured, fairies were’s, some witches of course and every other demon you could ever imagine.
“ Your dreams and nightmares are all true Monsieur, those little fairy tales your brother or sister told you to scare you when you were little, there all true and their all here.” He smirked as he dipped his head to a passing demon. He grinned a bit at this.
“ He’s from my master’s court.” He told Lu proudly as he then waited to see if he could take this all in without you know fainting.

Endlessly pleased with the reaction his meager little gesture had earned him, Lukias had closed a little bit of the gap between them, shoulder brushing lightly against Kane's near constantly from the time he felt the little squeeze back from the vampire's hand. He felt a breif flash of warmth across his face, but it was fleeting, and not enough to darken any sort of color across his cheeks. From enjoying his attention to getting irritable with it, to complaining, deciding it was alright but still squirming under every little hint of it.. He still couldn't believe that he hadn't reciprocated in the slightest up until that moment. Even back at the church, he'd enjoyed the other's touch..
Speaking of the church. He blinked curiously around at the graves, then the statue as they stopped behind it. The opening of the door had the albino blinking a few times in succession, a surprised look splashed across his features. He'd been sitting here for so long..And now not only had he learned that something might've happily come along and eaten him, but this was here, too. All it took was one little glimpse of the darkness, and he was reaching his other arm in front of him to sandwhich the vampire's hand between both his own, holding securely onto him as he led him through the passageways, entirely dependant on his guidance in the lack of light. Disconcerting thoughts of what might reach out and snatch him away played through his mind, and he held on just a little more tightly.
And finally, the destination. Lukias had forgotten to worry, caught up in Kane-issues and dark-issues and things-in-the-dark issues. He'd been staring downwards, trying uneasily to catch a good glimpse of his feet, so when he caught the light out of his peripheral vision, he looked up..And abrubtly cursed under his breath, lifting a hand to cover his eyes. Shit, that hurt. Kane leading him around from building to building through the darkness outdoors was enough to drive winces out of him. But the trip here coupled with the time spent in the more completely dark catacombs had gotten his eyes thoroughly used to the dark, and to look up into light so suddenly.. Trying to ignore the dull throb behind his eyes, abated a bit since the initial shock of pain, he slowly lowered his hands, cracked his eyes open..
And was abrubtly holding onto Kane's hand with both of his once more, eyes wide despite the newly-increased hurt. If he'd thought the pub had made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end, now it must've been trying to leap upwards out of his skin as his gaze roamed over just a very small portion of the sights in front of him, partially-obscured by the spots dancing merrily across his vision, before Kane spoke. That had him pressing hard against the other's side, giving him a pleading little look, hitting 'puppy' on the expression scale for maybe the third time, as unease apparently spared him the obligatory flush from the closeness he'd just imposed upon Kane and himself.

Kane laughed softly at this. “ Don’t worry, your safe as long as you make sure they know Kane is your guide, or for that matter mutter the name Lucifer and they’ll all back off like a bunch of scared cockroaches accept for a few asses like myself.” He grinned as he bowed the man further into the cavern. Shops lining the halls and the mazes of corridors beneath the rock ceiling up above them. “ I think the magical pet trade shop shouldn’t be far off.” He spoke then winced with the obnoxious screech of a calls dragon. “ Yeah… this way.” The man groaned for his sensitive ears were hurting now very much like the other’s eyes. “ Arg now I know why I never come over this way.” He complained as he placed his finger in his ear trying to desperately clear out the noise that was still causing him ringing within them. Passing a few booths selling weapons, potions and other things he sighed as he waved his hand casually. “ I’ll pay for whatever you desire….. “ He spoke as if money was not a object. Hey when once didn’t have to eat, you saved a lot on the grocery bill

The albino had backed off Kane's side a little bit, presumably to avoid tripping himself up with the other's feet, but after his offer to pay, he bumped his shoulder lightly back against the other blonde's. It could've been gratitude for the offer, or affection..Or that something..Very..Furry..Had just passed by him on his other side, and he had absolutely no idea what it had been. But it had looked at him. And it wasn't the only thing looking at him. If anything, the more humanoid shapes bothered him more, because at least, with creatures of the freakier variety, it was fairly safe to assume that they were only what they looked like. Anything resembling a normal person had him wondering just what else it might've been. Or how many teeth it could grow if it was an ass like Kane(That thought drew a little smile from his lips, despite his current train of thought), and thus unintimidated by any name-dropping he might do. He did get a slightly chilling little thrill from the thought that he could use the name Lucifer in his defense. That chill would probably dispelled eventually, when he met the actual being attached to the name..But. He might as well have his fascination with it while he still could.
"Eh..May--" He cut off to blink owlishly at a passing figure..A very dimunitive, bewinged passing figure..Er..Flying-by figure. He didn't necessarily want to stare, but he felt like he was staring at everything they passed, whether it was in the hopes that he might cut down on its chances of creeping up behind him and chewing his legs off, or because it was a more pleasant sight. Like what he assumed was a faerie, which, he decided, as he turned his attention back to his companion, was strangely..Cliche. Or predictable. Or something. He wasn't expecting to run into any Tinker Bells. But then, for all he knew, a faerie might be more likely to eat him alive than anything else. ..Which was a very, very disturbing thought.
"..Maybe I should get a tag or something: 'Do not eat; Property of an assholish vampire'," he finished his suggestion finally. But he was doing much better now than before, at least, grinning a little. It probably helped that he wasn't watching someone that he'd rather not get broken be thrown around by someone else. Or that he was expecting freaky. Or that this time, he had a hand to hold onto, very, very tightly.
The changeling stopped mid-step, bared its teeth, then dropped heavily down onto its amply-fluffed rump. It let out a pathetic little mewl into the dark, and when there was no answer, began to forlornly lick the blood from its front paws. Why would its food want to come down into an awful place like this? It had only lost it for a moment..And now it was never going to get to eat it..And that was a loss, because it didn't often find food that agreed so easily to his making use of it. It had to be stupid food, to get lost like that.

((Ooc: OMG That critter entertains me so much XD Stupid food! ))
Kane grinned at this.
“ Might help actually.” He grinned deviously at Lu’s little suggestion. As they made their way through the crowed though he stopped for a moment. Swearing he smelled the little rat somewhere nearby. Why was he even helping the guy keep this dreaded thing anyway? Oh yeah he was cute. With a bit of a sigh Kane moved closer to a guy who dealed in exotics. With this a very snake like human moved to the front of the stand.
“ Maaaay, I heelp youuu?” He drawled out to the vampire and his human friend. Already noticing the scent of blood on the air and the bit of fur upon the one’s clothing he grinned a bit.
“ Need a poison to get rid of a changeling infestation?” He asked the human rather curiously.

The arrival at the stand found Lukias pressing himself firmly back against the other's side, both hands still shamelessly locked onto the vampire's one. In fact, he was holding on tighter now, trying very hard to speak around the lump that had returned happily to his throat. He felt like a kid again, panicking when someone addressed him instead of his parents. But he was grown, he scolded himself. He should be able to answer when someone asked him a question. Even if the someone was a.. A.. It didn't help that he didn't know what this guy was in the least. Dammit. He was not going to look at Kane like a scared little kid..But..Would it kill him to step in before he had to answer? He gave the hand clasped in his own a breifly rougher squeeze, half trying to reassure himself, half irritated. A little frown cast across his features, he finally found his voice amidst the shattered remains of his composure and pride. "Ah..Not exactly.." He, quite suddenly, couldn't think what to say. Dammitdammitdammitdammit. "More along the lines of..I need supplies to take care of one.." Stupid. So stupid. He'd thought Kane had just had something personal against the little thing for trying to take him down.. But, judging by this guy's reaction, they were..Kinda..Like rats. He was taking in a rat. ... But maybe that was okay. He'd tried that before, too. ))XD Lu's all ' IT LIKES ME. LOOKATIT. /wavewave' and it's just wondering if he would taste better with ketchup or mustard. ..Or Kane-put-through-a-blender-sauce.((

(( XD Ahahaha… ew Kane sauce…. ….. XD )) As Kane and Lu stood talking to the man, a black haired male with triple ringed hue’s eyes looked up rather suddenly. Eye’s that were similar to Lu’s own new pet. He had been purchasing herbs for his medical potions for self preservation when he heard of the dreaded thing. Changeling… poison? He had to admit himself his own race was vile but still. Had they gone this far for mass suicide? “ You better be careful what your brandishing Harris. I might come up with a snake beheaded if you keep selling that shit.” He commented back to the basilisk male. The man laughed in his snake like matter. “ Oh, David. It’s you. You know very well I would never condone the harming of a intelligent being such as yourself…” He started. Sweet talking the ill tempered half changeling before him. The mans violet eyes seemed to shimmer with a fire beneath them for a moment. The hybrid man contemplating to use his hunter authority on the snake. “ I bet.” He snorted coldly going back to looking through the herbs to find what he needed. ----- Kane leaned over with a whisper, noticing the nervousness in Lu. He gave him a gentle squeeze to his hand yet again. Smiling a bit calmly to him trying to calm him down as the snake returned to his customer. “ So… you want something to take care of a changeling… in the pet way?” The man asked. Raising a brow to him. He looked over to make sure David wasn’t in listening range before speaking to the boy. “ That’s a aweful troublesome familiar for a human.” He told him, trying to figure out what sort of beast it was that he had. “ Must be something awfully cute for you to tolerate one of those. What is it? A feline based breeding? Canine? Reptile? Rodent? There are many types. I first need to know what sort in order to help you gain supplies for it.” He smirked wickedly as Kane stood there patiently. God… this was going to be troublesome he thought mentally to himself.

The albino male cast the breifest of glances out of the corner of his eye at the dark-haired man as he spoke out, biting at his lip. He didn't seem..Very pleasant..Hoping he wouln't be subjected to more of the violence that was starting to seem awfully common for the paranormal population, he willed this 'David' silently away. If he would just leave, and not start any crap..At least not while he and Kane were still there..It took no small amount of effort to turn his mind back to the task on hand. Focus, focus. Act less like a seven year old, more like a grown man.. The blonde's response helped, just a little. At least, if he really screwed up and made an ass of himself, Kane was there to make sure it didn't all go to hell. ..If he didn't make it worse.
"Ah..Yeah.." he answered, a relatively painless response to both confirm that he was keeping it as a pet, and agree with his next comment. 'Troublesome' hit the mark, he thought. Not in any mood to converse with this guy, he decided that, if he wanted to think he was stupid, he could just think he was stupid. He wasn't about to tell him he was keeping it so Kane wouldn't kill it. And..Aw, crap. What would you call that thing?
"It's.." He started weakly, wrinkled his nose. It was only after a moment of thought that he caught the look on the basilisk's face, and his brow furrowed, a little frown falling into place across his features. If this guy started picking on him, after he'd been trying so hard to do this without freaking out.. "It's not reptile," he said, voice losing some of its waver, though he still clung to Kane as if for dear life. That was something he still couldn't help. "It's kind of mousy, but..Maybe a little canine, as well." He still had almost NO idea how to classify the little blighter. But at least he was behaving a little closer to normal.

David sighed, having smelled the bloody changeling all over the albino human.
“ It’s a mammal based changeling, a flesh feeder of course by the smell of blood, unless you and the vampire have had some strange blood rolling bed habits.” The one named David chimed in. Of course putting his two cents in. Kane chose this moment to lean in with a sigh. Whispering in Lu’s ear.
“ That’s David. He’s a freelance hunter around these parts. Part changeling, part human, he’s a pretty farther evolved changeling then the thing your keeping.” He told the man with a bit of a playful smile. He was simply making a pile to the side of various object. Steel enforced cage, titanium water bowl and so forth. Kane then wickedly picked up a shock collar with a bit of a grin. Hehehe… that could be sort of fun to use on the little critter.

Lukias let out a low, offended-sounding little 'mmf' noise at the 'bed habits' comment that spoiled David's otherwise helpful imput, frown deepening slightly. He knew he was clinging to Kane pretty tightly..But..Still. Crap like that was just..Irritating. And embarassing. Not that he was going to say anything, of course. He'd sooner agree with him than say anything potentially upsetting to someone that might or might not rip him apart. Vampire-defense at the ready or not. Kane's explanation distracted him from his mild offense, though, and he blinked. So.. He was talking about the same kind of changeling? Not a different species, or.. He was going to have a fit if the little thing he was planning on taking home started talking to him.
Watching the vampire idly, he made a face at the shock collar. It actually might be useful to keep himself in one piece if the little imp decided to eat him-Ignorance is bliss, they say- But.. Even so. "If that's going on anything," he told the vampire, amusement flickering behind the pale shapes of his eyes, "It's going on you."

“ Kinky, I like that.” Kane smirked all the same with a bit of a wink. David gave the man a disgusted look for Kane was always a lewd one.
“ You picked the worse vampire to hook up with. Kane like’s to hide behind the scary name instead of being who he is.” He smirked as the Vampire shot him a dirty look. A stern-ness crossed his face as he once more started to curse in French so Lukias could not understand what he had said. David smirked all the more at this. The changeling being as much as a ass as Kane though David only ever had good motives for his aggression. Always standing on the side of humans more then their paranormal foes.
“ At least I don’t whine all the time that I’m a changeling bastard.” He finally retorted, of course starting trouble once more like a bad little puppy. With this the changeling male growled a bit. Starring daggers at Kane that just couldn’t be taken anywhere it seemed without starting shit with another.

"Dammit, Kane!" he hissed, releasing his hand almost the instant he caught the changeling's reaction. He almost grabbed ahold of it again- Without his anchor, he got the sudden, illogical impression that he was going to be carried away by something in seconds. But he shook it off, every fiber of his being screaming for him to do something to keep this from happening. But..What the heck..Was he supposed to do.. Fear pricked at the back of his mind, and, acting on impulse, he slapped his hand hard over Kane's mouth. It occurred to him, then, that he might've done better to just haul off and bitchslap him across the face. But that might not shut him up. He just hoped he'd conveyed his intentions with the force. Now..What.. He lifted his free hand, palm out, toward the changeling, a helpless, strained little smile spreading across his face as his panic rose. "Ah..Please.." It was all he could manage. Not that he'd managed to think anything up that might appease him anyways..

To say the least seeing a human hanging around the black market was an oddity in itself. Quite how she'd found two doing so in one night Lianna didn't know. Okay so she would admit one of them was at least seemingly used to this but still, this wasn't the kind of place for anyone human to be walking around. She had been about to lead the girl, okay so they were probably about the same age, away but then she had spotted the human guy gripping onto a rather old vampires hand like he'd be struck down the moment he let it go.
"Hold on a second, I want to see what's going on with that guy, you humans should really stay out of here." She told the girl trailing her as she changed direction to move to the group at the stand. Sure, Lianna had been a vampire for about three years so she was pretty much a newbie in vamp terms, but her witching training and resolution to protect the innocent hadn't changed at all. Besides she figured she must have been doing okay for Seth to have let her come back to the city in it's current state. She was sure he was still keeping an eye on her though, but he wasn't being obvious about it any more.
"Such a nice night to be out walking pets..." She commented to herself as she came to stand next to the other vampire, her eyes darting over him and the human that seemed attached to him. She'd let each of them make up their minds about what the comment was implying, testing the water a little to try and find out what the deal was here.
=====
Farren could only sigh and follow the vampire girl. "She's got no chance if she gets into a fight." She justified to herself and Iaria who was perched happily on her shoulder in her preferred raven form. The aura off that other vampire dwarfed the girl's entirely and that changeling wasn't exactly weak either.
We have the thing for Trainis' mine, we don't need to stay. Iaria was clearly not to pleased with the delay to her plans with Trainis...no surprise there.
Hey you made me come out here and buy that Leon guy a present, if that guy is in trouble I might be able to scare the vamp off if needs be. Not likely but it was worth a shot, if it came to it, all she had to do is throw up a huge aura around herself and hope no one called her bluff. Ah well maybe it'd just be nice and peaceful for a change.
Things always get messy with others though...

(( Ooc: Just say my post happened before Var's so yeah they came up to them when they were playing about XD ))
David merely smirked at the human’s reaction.
“ Your rather funny you know that. If your going to hang about that bastard you better prepare for much worse then just us flaming each other.” He grinned, a borderline of madness seeming to twinkle in his eyes.
“ If we were going to kill each other we would of done it already. “ He grinned at this. His stare adverting a bit as he seemed to be looking off for someone.
“ If you ever need a hunter/investigator… of changeling advice give me call. “ He told the man as he flipped out a plain white card that simply had a phone number upon it.
“I have decent rates for investigation services.” The man spoke. Advertising his business as Kane spoke muffled words from under the clasped hand. His eyes once more showing how unamused he was as he simply sighed from beneath the flesh. He grinned a bit though from behind the digits as he stuck out his tongue. Playfully licking the mans hand in jest to see what he would do against this drool assault of his.

Funny? He had just dredged up enough bravery to try to intervene in an argument between two paranormal creatures, without freaking out..And he was calling him..Funny. He wasn't entirely sure how to take that, but at least he wasn't trying to break Kane's face. Lukias was definitely grateful for that, 'funny' or not. He probably would've gotten caught in it this time, he thought, with the way he'd just stuck himself between them. He'd gotten lucky back at the pub, but.. Stupid idea, he scolded himself. Stupid, stupid. Cringing internally at what probably would've happened to him, he let out a strained little 'eheh' as the changeling went on, hesitating, just a second, before reaching out with his free hand to gingerly take the card. This guy..Bothered him.. He'd be happy if he would just leave.. Giving a little nod, he murmered an uneasy 'thanks'. He really might've been an okay guy, for all he knew. But..Eh. He didn't have any desire to stick around and find out. He could feel panic still writhing around like a live thing, just under the surface of his self control, ready to jump to the foremost of his mind after the little argument had spurred it to life. He was still half-expecting Kane to pull something stu-- There it was. Nothing aimed toward David at least, and nothing really bad at all, had the albino not been unhappy with him in the first place. He grimaced, and, without looking back or giving it much thought, popped him irritably in the mouth with the back of the hand previously over his mouth. He was in no mood for the blonde to screw with him right now. The vampire had told him he wouldn't piss anyone off, and he'd seen what had happened to the albino back at the pub when things had gotten nasty- He'd nearly had a mental breakdown. Only 'nearly' if vomiting on the floor and just about losing conciousness couldn't be conisdered such. And that had been Kane's doing, too. Vampire, five hundred years old, Kane could've been freaking Santa Clause, and it still wouldn't have mattered. As far as Lukias's frame of mind went, he was just someone that had recently hit exceptionally high on the 'Jackass' scale. He was going to get a royal bitching out as soon as this David guy was gone... He wished he'd slapped him earlier.
...At least, until he realized they'd garnered more attention. He hadn't noticed until he heard the first of the new company speak, and as soon as he did, he started slightly, pale gaze darting swiftly over to the two females as he apparently forgot any qualms he'd had with the changeling's presence. What had she-- ..'Pets'. What did that mean..? Was she..Referring to him? He instinctively started to reach for Kane's hand, until he remembered he was pissed at him. Well, he could get over that. But that was when he realized that he'd just smacked him in the face, and a dull dread seeped into him. He'd just been thinking along the lines of 'Kane stupidity, stop that' when he'd done it.. But.. What if he really got angry at him for that..? These new people had gotten him back into the mindset of Kane being something to reckon with, a source of protection..Because he was a vampire..And he'd just..Struck him. He'd gotten comfortable around him, and just.. How many people had spoken ill of Kane by now? For all he knew, what he'd just done might have really struck a nerve, regardless of how he'd treated him up until then. If he decided to just up and leave him there.. But he wouldn't, he thought. He couldn't see him doing that. Unless he.. ..That had been really, really stupid. Looking a little bit distressed, he reached his hand quietly back over to Kane's, hooking his pinky around the vampire's and giving him a look of ill-disguised distress. There were more people now, and not only was he unsure if he'd just been called a pet and had no idea what to act like, but he was almost expecting his only companion in the whole mess to be very, very angry with him very, very shortly.

Kane’s head bopped back as he was struck in the mouth, this action more out of surprise then anything. Raising his hand to rub the area a bit miffed for a second that he had actually been struck again that night. Though not with malice or at least so he thought. So he brushed it off. A human slap to the face was nothing then getting punched out by a were or other night beast. He was about to say something about keeping that for the bedroom when he was suddenly addressed by a woman.
“ Hmm, yeah it’s rather nice walking one’s pet under the moonlight don’t you think? I was just stopping by to buy a new collar and leash for him. Lukias, how about this one?” He smiled innocently as he picked up a pink leather leash and collar set. Of course by the looks of the make it was made for a humanoid type creature with a D ring in the center for the leash or whatever restraints were preferred. This was on part of playful payback for backhanding him a bit. A casual grin creeping in and staying there as he spoke with the lady. He led his hand though close about the other, having found Lu’s pinky laced with his own made him realize he wanted the contact, and with the present company milling about he knew exactly why.
“ Oh, I should get a Id tag while I’m here…. So no one mistakenly takes him away from me.” The male vampire spoke such silken words. His movements had changed from the clumsy young man he had made himself to be earlier to something that was graceful and beautiful. Each hand gesture moving as if the man was made from flowing water. A dancer almost in his matter of stepping, though Kane loved the more human movements he usually displayed.

Alright.. No temper outbursts, no spontaneously growing.. Vicious, or anything of the sort. For a second, Lukias couldn't imagine why he'd worried about that in the first place. This was Kane. Even if he had only known him one night, and thus really knew very little about him, not to mention watched him tear into the were back at..Oh. There was where that reasoning came from. But it was still Kane. ..Confusing, he thought, unhappily. He supposed he'd just fall back on what he'd decided earlier- Going to trust him, going to trust him.. That meant trusting him not to suddenly go freakish if he might get pissed.
..Pet, again. Now Kane was calling him a pet.. Did any of these creatures actually keep humans as pets? He had no idea, but the idea was a little bit.. Disconcerting. He fought the impulse to look over at the woman that had spoken. He hadn't gotten a very good look at her before.. For all he knew, she had a collar around the one behind her..Like the one Kane was holding up now. He blinked at the thing, then 'hmph'd softly. How was he going to say 'no freaking way' without drawing any more of this woman's attention than he had to..? "..Not without a fight," he muttered unhappily, but rested his chin over on his companion's shoulder as he did so, spoiling the effect somewhat. It was a little bit to further reassure himself that someone was definitely there to stick up for him- Being called a pet did not help the 'fear' issue in the slightest. But it was somewhat of an affectionate little gesture, too, as a little bit of guilt struck the albino for the momentary mental freak-out, the going back on the trust he'd told himself he would have. Kane wouldn't know about the break in trust, he supposed. But still.
He lifted his free hand to prod at the pink thing, watching as much of Kane as he could with his head resting on him as it currently was. All of a sudden, he seemed really.. ...Well...Maybe without too much of a fight.. he amended himself silently. But that definitely fell under the category of 'things Lukias will not say out loud'. Especially in public. And even moreso when in the company of things that could possibly be thinking about eating him.

Lianna kept a slight smile on her face, as ambiguous as her previous statement. The human guy was nervous, but what was he really worried about, her or the vampire he was with. Sometimes it was better to let people believe what they want, she could have been talking about the small changeling or the humans after all. The girl with her had a bird too, so it wasn't an unreasonable assumption either way.
"I'd have to agree, it's always relaxing having something warm with you. I didn't mean to interrupt anything by the way." She flicked her eyes back to the human guy, he really wasn't very happy right now.
"Come now, I'm sure you're perfectly capable of looking after what's yours. Either way he doesn't look like he's willing to go too far right now." She smiled a little more broadly before turning to the stand and appraising the goods, going over anything that looked like it would be suitable for a large bird, since that should make her look at least a little less suspicious.
=====
Farren watched the exchange of words with little interest, wondering how long all this was going to take. She had better things to be doing than being used as an excuse to help a guy that had gotten tangled up with a vampire, he must have known the truth by now if they were here of all places.
I want to go, I want to go! Iaria complained to her bondling, even going as far to squawk, click her beak and flutter her wings.
"Shush you..." Farren quickly tried to settle her down, not wanting to draw any attention to herself since she was already an unwilling partner to this little adventure.

“ We could test that you know.” Kane smirked as he exchanged it for a leather one. Showing it to the guy with a flick of his eyebrows. Almost daring him to respond to this. He let his hand rise to stroke his pale tinted hair. Smiling a bit before looking back to the female once more.
“ Something warm? Well I suppose so, though well. Let’s just say I believe in better being safe then sorry hmm? “He grinned looking back to the squawking bird.
“ I think your pet is getting rather agitated. “ Kane pointed out with a bit of a smirk. Letting his eyes look back over to Lukias to see what he was thinking upon all of this.

Test that..? Gaze flickering from the vampire's expression to the new collar in his hand, he made a noncommital little 'mmf' noise, turning his face a little bit away from his companion's as he did so. Just what he might mean by that had planted a rather..Interesting..Image into his mind, and he could feel a slight warmth rise to his cheeks. Even here. Even in a situation like this. He dug his chin breifly down into Kane's shoulder, hoping with all his might that he might hit a pressure point. And that pressure points applied to vampires. He needed to just..Leave the collars alone. Because if he made him start blushing in front of these..People..Well, he couldn't really think what he'd do. Nag him until his ears bled, he supposed.
And that woman just kept talking like he wasn't there. Finally, his pale eyes turned toward her, and he arched his brows, just a little hint of 'yes-you-are-talking-about-me-and-I-know-it-now-stop'. Some part of him wanted to say 'No, he's not willing to go too far. Because he's not entirely sure if you'd take him down or not', just so she would stop talking about him like he was Kane's..Poodle, or something. But then that would defeat the point of 'Don't attract any more attention than you have to', wouldn't it? The squawking bird drew his own attention for a moment, and that was a good excuse to inspect the possibly-human figure scolding it. She seemed a lot less social than the other one, he thought.
But then Kane's gaze was on him again, and he frowned a little at the vampire. He might've said 'I'm not your chiuaua' or something, had he thought he could get away with it without breaking his 'don't draw attention' rule. But what he'd just said could be worked with..
"So is yours," he breathed, corners of his mouth lifting very slightly into a look that might've been a smile, had 'unamused' not been as good as written in neon in his eyes.

Lianna could only smile a little more as she caught the look the human guy was giving her, was he getting defensive now? Maybe the human did really know what he was getting into, it wouldn't be too surprising since a lot of them craved what they thought was a great existence with the perk of immortality. Needless to say it wasn't all fun and games. In fact she really wasn't sure she'd have made it through her transition with Seth, as much as she had mixed feelings about his decision to save her life she wasn't about to waste it.
"I thought that was a given, no point in taking unnecessary risks." She replied, turning her attention back to the stall, leaving the comment on the bird to it's owner.
=====
"She doesn't like having her schedule interrupted." Farren stated flatly, not wanting to get into a great conversation about the bird disguised spectre if she could help it, the things really did like attracting attention. If you don't pack it in I'll take you home right now and you can forget about seeing Trainis.
I called him, he will come if we will not go! Iaria proudly pronounced with another squawk, quickly settling down on the girl's shoulder when she was happy she had been understood.
You did what? Why did you go and do that!? Farren gave the raven a look of someone wounded by a betrayal. The last thing she needed was to throw the two spectres together and bring the changeling guy into the mix. She had a hard enough time keeping Iaria from flying around in her true form, with Trainis in the picture that would be nearly impossible to accomplish.
"Are we going to be long? I don't know how long she'll decide to be quiet for." The woman complained, her eyes drifting over to taking in the albino without a second glance. Hopefully the vamp girl wasn't going to take much longer to make up her mind on the situation.

“ Certainly not, and to you miss, I have noticed that with pets.. They like routine. “ Kane spoke with a charming grin. Eye’s of honey flickering back onto Lukias’s own face for a moment as he spoke.
“ Getting a bit feisty are we not? “ He asked with almost a purr as he stroked the man’s head.
“ My….. Friend. Here is named Lukias, and mine is Kane.” He told the two of them with a bit of a grin. Stroking Lu’s head once more. His golden locks were hung about his own face still reminding Kane that he was still a mess.
“ Oh excuse me for my appearance. I got into a fight earlier, I must look dreadful.” He spoke up at last. Putting on the smooth moves as usual. Playing the part of a suave vampire for the woman as he wrapped his arm about his ‘pet’.
“I’ll do anything to protect my little Lu.” He chimed. Having fun with this came of pet and master.

Why was he petting him like that? 'Feisty'..Lukias wrinkled his nose very breifly. I'll show him 'feisty' if he keeps that up.. But the thought was a fruitless little burst of pride that wouldn't be getting any further than a breif flutter across his conciousness, withering immediately. If he wanted Kane to stop very badly, he couldn't do much about it without making a bigger deal out of it, he thought. But he really didn't want him to stop anyways, when it came down to it. He did like Kane petting him. Whether it came as a product of treating him like a pet or not. He tilted his head against the vampire's hand in a slight, nearly-imperceptible litte motion.
'Friend' was better than 'stray I picked up', too, he thought, just almost amused by the idea. It wouldn't really have surprised him if he'd introduced him as such, with him apparently having a good time with the whole thing. This behaviour of his..Was a lot different than some he'd displayed earlier, he decided, and wondered how these women's perception of him might change if they'd seen him sitting on top of a writhing, changeling-filled trashcan. More definite amusement at that. And though he'd still be much more at ease if Kane would just..Very politely..Tell these people to bugger off, being introduced made him feel a little more like a person again, a tiny bit closer to being equal. A twinge of insistant politeness had him offering up a little nod as the vampire gave his name to these two, and then he was pressing himself gratefully to Kane's side as he found the other's arm around him. Starting to relax a little again, he felt a soft, silent sigh fall over his lips. More 'Little Lu' nonsense. He hadn't been entirely sure how he felt about it the first time. But right about then, he was deciding it was probably okay. What the other male had just said..Actually helped his unease quite a bit. Even if he was just fooling around with the whole thing..It helped. He snuggled a little more closely against him in gratitude. If Kane wanted to treat him like his dog for a while.. It wasn't..Going to prove anything to get agitated. That was another thing he had decided earleir- That he would just let Kane take care of things for a little while. And here he was, fighting against the turn of events again. He really would do well to stick to the stuff he made up his mind on, he thought. He'd probably stay a lot closer to 'sane'. If he could ever hit anywhere in the general area of sanity again. Hell..He was tired..
Finding his gaze naturally drawn over to the woman with the bird as he became more at ease, he briefly inspected what he didn't really doubt was a raven. A second later found him offering up an unsure, wavering little smile to the assumed-owner after the short stare. If he was going to act more like the person that he was still quite sure he was, rather than a spaniel, or something, he found himself more ready to smile at this woman than the one that had spoken more. She seemed less friendly, and she was still setting his nerves on edge. But she seemed less interested, too, so maybe that helped, and she hadn't referred to him like an animal. ..He didn't understand his own reasoning very well, to tell the truth. But who he was more willing to interact with didn't much care if he knew why or not..
