"Lianna, and my friend here is Farren." The vampire girl nodded to each of the others in turn before settling her eyes back on the male vampire. "There's no need to worry, the streets have hardly been safe as of late, fights seem more inevitable than ever. I'm sure Lukias is much better off becasue of you being a little...ruffled." There wasn't much else that she could do short of approaching the human directly on the matter, but that was almost certainly going to end in a fight she'd loose. She'd keep the conversation going a little longer, just in case he gave any hints he wasn't happy with his companion.
"I do hope the fight didn't involve witches, they've been particulary troublesome as of late." It was still a little odd of her to think that the coven had fallen so out of favour, but then being a member she was probably not so well informed about what had really gone on anyhow.
=====
I'm bored! Oooh, I want to look at that, on the stand! Get that! Iaria might have stopped squawking out loud but the mental barrage to Farren hadn't let up in the least. She knew full well that the spectre wouldn't remain quiet unless her demands were met though.
Fine, but I'm not buying anything. Looking only. Farren sighed mentally, moving around the group to look over the part of the stand that the spectre relayed a picture of in her mind. The movement took her around behind the whole of the group so she ended up beside Lukias, trying to decide which on the items on that part of the stand had interested Iaria.
The spectre in the meantime watched her bondling for but a moment before turning to the other human with the changling on his shoulder. She chirped at the creature, before tilting her head to look at Lukias. He was human, hers was human, maybe they'd like to know each other better. He'd looked at hers and smiled, hers hadn't noticed but she had. Of course while she was deciding what to do to break the ice between the two humans she was basically just staring at Lukias...

“ No, more like a were with a bad attitude problem. Though the witches have been on my tail a few times. I luckily escaped the last round up. It’s a bit harder to corral a old one like me then some of the younger ones today.” He smirked a bit at this.
“ Have you had any issues with the coven? I have been keeping a ear out for their movements for my own master. I think it would be best for us all if Master Lothair was reinstated into that office. At least with him he didn’t persecute us unless he had a need to.” He frowned upon this as he looked to Lu once more.
“ See, your getting a education listening to us talk politics.” He laughed in jest, the frown leaving his visage for the moment as he tried to seem more pleasing to everyone around them. This was when a sudden jolt nearly knocked Kane off his feet. A far off explosion caused the man to grasp onto both Lu and anyone else who seemed to fall his direction. Trying to steady everyone as the ground came to a stop.
“ Fucking hell! That was a bit too much power for a single stupid witch!” Kane complained loudly as various others about him screamed or started to shout. His honey orbs looked to Lu to make sure he was okay as a bit of a growl left his lips.
“ And that signature is in no doubt witch in origin.” He spoke. Eyes looking serious once more as others tried to right their stands.

Lukias had caught the raven-but-not-really's stare, and had arched his brows a little. The bird was acknowledging him more than the owner. That..Was different. Though he still didn't really think to wonder if the raven was more intelligent than he was giving it credit for. He probably should've, after all the stuff he'd seen that night. But he didn't. Wondering if the attached human had just missed his smile, or was all-out ignoring him, he smiled a little at the bird, and cooed a very soft, "Hey.." Opening his mouth, making sound not directed at Kane, in front of these people. But he had Kane close, at least. And he liked birds. Chances were, he thought, it wasn't going to eat him. Unless he spontaneously dropped dead. Then it might take a bite or two out of him. But he wasn't really planning on dropping dead, and even if he did, he couldn't see himself caring if the bird helped itself.
Then he was peering back over at the vampire he was curently attached to, trying to think up a decent answer that wouldn't make him look a total fool, when the floor beneath him jumped. Letting out a startled cry, he definitely would've hit the ground if Kane hadn't been there, and found himself abrubtly clinging to the fabric of his companion's shirt with his previously-free hand. The other was holding tightly enough to the vampire's own to turn his knuckles bone-white, and he'd turned more toward him, the bird's stare abrubtly forgotten. He'd just figuratively run what remained of his dignity through with a rusty fork. But he was a little bit too preoccupied to care.
"..Ah..Kane..?" he questioned, a little breathlessly as his heart pounded against his chest, confusion saturating his voice and eating up his hesitance to speak. He remembered what he'd told him earlier, about witches fighting.. So that was what it was? A disturbing vision of the ceiling of the cavern falling in on them flashed before his mind's eye, and he shook it away.
Just a corner away from the cavern its food was being terrorized in, the changeling's rump breifly left the ground as the floor jolted, and it landed sprawling, a terrified wail escaping its throat. That was 'ouch' and 'loud' and 'what'. all at once, and it hated all of those. Those were the same things the loud food-it-didn't-like had given it, and it wondered if maybe this new 'what' was the bad food's fault.

"None myself, though I've heard enough to know better than to be playing in view of the witches for the time being." Lianna looked away for an instant,remember why she had returned here in the first place. Her sister should still be in the coven, and if so she had to make sure she wasn't caught up in this mess. Sure she had been outcast after the whole incident with Seth and the vampires that almost killed her, but even so she wasn't about to leave her sister in danger if she could help in any way.
"Sometimes it seems less like politics and more like..." She started to continue before the blast threw her off her feet and a little towards Kane, though she steadied herself before she fell over. Her eyes turned tot eh direction of the explosion.
"Kes'...be safe..." She whispered to herself before turning back to the others, standing in silence while she tried to work out just what that had been. No witch should be that powerful...
=====
Iaria cocked her head a little at the greeting, giving a chirp in reply. It was a meaningless little display of birddom to her as opposed to a real greeting but the human wouldn't know that. Hers was the only one worth talking to after all, at least in an actual conversation. This other human would be fin if she could get him to say something to hers.
You should talk to the poor thing mine, he's all...
Iaria was interrupted by the blast as Farren lost her footing, the shock of the movement and the sudden spike of energy causing the spectre to squawk and shift back to her natural form. The dark purple dragon shaped form swirling around Farren like dust being blown on the wind.It didn't take long for Farren to recover enough to notice the spectre flying around her head.
"Shit!" She exclaimed before she remembered to switch to her mental communication, making sure she still dampened the spectre's aura. Iaria! Calm down, you'll make a scene and then there will be trouble, come on now, be a good little...thing and shift back. It's okay whatever that was it was a ways off.
Trainis! Trainis! Mine needs yours, I need you, something dangerous... Iaria wasn't exactly listening to her bondling, the spike of power having rattled her a great deal.

Kane looked over to make sure everyone was safe. He bit his lip for a moment before noticing the bird had changed into some… thing….
“Is everyone allright?” He asked, almost sounding genuinely concerned for the moment as he hung on to Lu still. Not letting him out of his arms protectively as honey orbs scanned the area for any more threats.
“ We should all head for safer ground for awhile….a fight sending off that much power can be rather nasty… if not destroy half the city… again. “ He started to speak though thought about the destroying the city part for a moment… It really wasn’t all that uncommon for the city to fall apart in battle, only to be rebuilt with magic and minds altered though, or in the least minds altered. He ran his free hand through golden locks in a bit of worry. Kane didn’t like anything with a higher energy signature then himself, since that meant it could kick his ass and he wasn’t ready to admit such a thing to anyone.

The albino made a discontented little 'mnn' noise, glancing around and abrubtly spotting a..Something. The last thing he needed to be in contact with was more unidentifiable 'something's.. But the woman it was flying around didn't seem to have a problem with it, at least. And that's when he noticed the sudden lack of the bird he'd just been looking at. So that thing was.. ..Oh.. A forlorn little look crossed his face at the continuing decimation of anything 'normal'. Common sense told him he should've been a lot more surprised than he was, but he wasn't on very good terms with his common sense after a night of freakishness. He did decide that this thing was much more likely to eat him than the average raven, though, and pressed himself even more closely to Kane's side, all but standing on his feet.
He turned his gaze back up to Kane , and his face fell as he watched the little expression of worry. If Kane started getting nervous.. His expression deteroriated further as he thought, again, of the changeling he'd lost track of. Horrified by the thought of it maybe having gotten caught up in whatever was going on, not having any idea how close it was, he took a breath. "Hey..D'you think...The changeling's still back at the warehouse..?" he asked hesitantly. "It wouldn't stick around any of.." He wrinkled his nose, trying to come up with a suitable term, "..The fighting, would it..?"

“ That changeling might have been primal in nature but there not complete morons. No it would know when to escape the heat.” Kane sighed a bit at this as he started to collect their own packages for their… Lu’s new pet. He bit his lip, wondering the best course of action for them to take.
“ The catacombs might be the best place to spend the night, though some of the tunnels do lead off to the temporary coven…. I myself have the safest abode of them all.” Kane grinned a bit. Once more amidst the chaos finding a chance to brag about his heritage.
“ Cause you know. The garden of night, doesn’t even exist on this same plane.” He spoke, puffing up his chest like a proud rooster for the moment. Kane was flashy at times and liked people to know of his importance since rarely did he ever get to feel important in normal every day life.

Lukias looked a little relieved, reassured that his new pet, should he ever find it again, most likely wasn't in the middle of whatever was causing the explosions. But Kane's boasting was lost on the unfortunate human, who found himself at a complete loss as to what the heck the vampire had just said. Temporary coven, Garden of Night, plane-- What? So many questions. He let loose a little sigh, shaking his head. So, so many. He finally settled on breaking into his display with a weary, muttered little, "I have no idea what you're saying.." It might've been safe to assume that the other male knew that, but still..Just..Letting him know. He wondered if he'd ever get to a point of being able to understand half of what came out of Kane's mouth, and hoped fervently that not everyone around here managed to make so little sense out of so many words. He was getting the continuing idea of dangerous stuff happening, at least, and wondered, not for the first time, if his own 'abode' would still be standing when he got back to it.
The changeling mewled..Writhed around on the ground for a few seconds..And mewled again. It was deciding that it liked the dark less and less as seconds passed, and wondered again where its food had gotten off to. Stupid, stupid food. Why anything would want to come into an awful place like this..It decided that if its food didn't come back by soon, it would bite it to death, though it wasn't really making the connection that if it didn't find Lukias again, it couldn't really do anything to him.

Kane looked over to Lukias for a moment, almost as if he didn’t get the fact the man didn’t know this. That was when he remembered that the male was human and not of the night creatures. He sighed a bit laughing softly at himself. Shaking his head. He was getting to comfortable and was forgetting simple things. He glanced to the man once more with amusement in his eyes.
“ I forgot… again. Um… Coven… the witches who would stake me as quick as look at me. That’s what they call their group. A witches coven. Garden of Night… well that’s… well in truth… you can say. That’s where the worlds first evil was committed and the one’s caste out were born.” He spoke, not even saying the insinuation of what it truly was… the Garden of Night… The birth place of the first sin….

Lianna had taken the time to have some hushed words with Farren about exactly what her pet was but much to her annoyance she didn't get anywhere. It didn't make any sense to her that a human would be able to attract something so clearly supernatural...whatever it was. Her concerns about the creature came to an end when she heard the words from the other vampire.
"The Garden of Night? As in the one and only? How the hell do you know where that is, I thought it was one of those old legends, you know the ones that are so far old the chances are they never existed." Her eyes rested on the male vampire, almost challengingly. She might have not been in this loop very long but she was certainly prepared to challenge any idiotic claims like that.
=====
Farren meanwhile just sort of watched the conversation, she didn't need to go to any fancy hiding spot that may or may not exist, let alone spend any more time in the company of these vamps. She had Iaria to worry about now and although no one seemed know what she was she wasn't very happy about knowing she wasn't just a raven either.

"World's first evil," Lukias answered in a dejected little mutter. "Got it." ..What the hell was he getting himself into? Or, rather, had he gotten himself into. And Kane LIVED in this place..He gave a near-imperceptible little shake of his head. He just wouldn't think about..Whatever..The consequences of getting into all this would end up being. He'd decided he'd let Kane take care of him, he reminded himself. He just needed to stop thinking about things, before he stressed himself into a coma. The way things were going, it seemed very possible. His grip on Kane's shirt finally slackened a little, as he realized how tightly he was clutching it from the earlier scare. He hoped with a distant corner of his mind that he hadn't stretched it out, listening to Lianna's near-accusation, but not looking. One night of knowing Kane, and he'd gotten a good idea of the ego he was packing, and now he was wondering how much of a rise that woman would get out of him, considering his bragging on the place moments prior. But rather than so obviously wait for whatever might come of the remark, he instead let his gaze wander back over to Farren and her..'Pet'. He looked Iaria over again, very breifly, wary of staring even if he was still pressed comfortingly against Kane's side. Having exhausted as much time looking at the thing as he was willing to, he glanced again back at the 'owner' of the thing, making a second attempt at a tentative little smile. She was staying so quiet..Maybe she really had been ignoring him earlier. )) -Chews on Var- S'not sucky. >w< ((

Kane non chalauntly polished his nails against his chest at this. So proud, so cocky of his little blood line.
“ Cause I’m the first created son of Lucifer himself. Hence the name… Kane.” He spoke so regale the male was like a rooster prancing upon the fence at dawn.
“ You know I could show you all it. It’s really rather nice. The place where the sun never shines and darkness rules the cursed garden. Rather pretty in a gothic sort of way I have to say. Who knows maybe you’ll get to meet one of the originals.” He bragged as usual. Shooting a glance in his human companion’s way he let his arm slink about his slender shape and pull the man into him in a playful matter. Honey eyes alit with excitement he adored every moment he got to impress someone.

Lianna folded her arms and regarded the older vampire with a glance. Sure he was old but not that old. It wasn't like there hadn't been more vampires around since forever, originals or not, so to think he'd be one of the first sons was a little silly. No offence to the originals or anything but he was hardly the sort she'd expect to be the first spawn of one of the originals. She always expected them to have...well...standards...and picking up random humans wasn't what she'd call good behaviour.
"Fine, prove it. All talk but no show doesn't mean squat and that isn't the kind of claim you can make without backing it up." She gives Kane a long look before turning back to Farren, giving her a glance before turning back to Kane. "So care to lead the way?"
=====
Farren sighed once more as Iaria finally shifted back to her raven form, settling back on her shoulder. The spectre still ruffled her sings a little but otherwise stayed settled now. Her eyes picked up the slight smile from the other human, or well only real human, and this time she let herself smile back a bit. Call Trainis off, have them meet us at our home or back in the bar, I want to see what this place is like.
It does sound like it'd be fun...okay I've told him, his isn't happy with all the running around.
Neither am I. She took a few steps forward to stand next to Lianna, though she kept her own eyes on Lukias instead of the vampire. "You know, you really should consider how deep you want to plunge, crawling out isn't as easy."

So now Kane was talking about taking them to this..Place.. He tried to push his dread back, to keep it out of his expression. Don't think about it, don't think about it.. He supposed he could ask to be left behind..If he wanted to be by himself in this awful city, after everything that had happened. He would only have to worry about getting to a place that didn't run the risk of being steamrollered by fighting witches, would offer protection from any other vampires that might be a little more inclined to munch him and a little less inclined to keep him around as..Well. As..Whatever.. And, of course, a place that had a 'no insane were-leopards' rule, and could enforce it. So, as far as he knew thus far, those specifications left him with..A total of zero choices. He sighed a little sigh, then lifted a hand to rest it lightly on the arm Kane had around him as he was abrubtly pulled against him. The corners of his mouth twitched upwards into another, sort-of kind of smile, though it was more of an unconciously-forced sort of thing in response to Kane's contact than a genuine expression.
At least until he caught the female with the thing-again-raven smiling back at him, and then, the look became just a little more sincere. He still had no idea what was going on with her 'bird', but the look still reassured him some. He hadn't been expecting her to speak to him, though, considering her relative silence thus far, and so when she did, it caught him off guard a little. As did what she said, and it took him a second to figure out just what she meant. Then he was shifting his hand on his companion's arm uneasily, glancing down at his pale fingers for a second before he turned his gaze back to Farren. His smile was a little bit broader, but certainly uneasy, maybe a little bit helpless. "..I figured," he answered finally, trying to ignore the little brush of dread her words had set upon him. "..As it is now, though," he continued, again pausing thoughtfully as he searched for words. He tilted his head slightly, thinking back to his conclusion just seconds earlier, about not really having much choice as to whether he went with them or not. "..I'm kind of just being pulled along."
The changeling's fear was abating now, and it was forgetting its earlier distress, in favor of becoming irritated. Oh, that food was going to get it..It was going to chew it to pieces and eat it up. With that conclusion in mind, it pushed itself upright, and began to stalk through the dark, sniffing hard. Stupid food..It would find that food. It would.

Kane’s eyes widened a bit in surprise that this female dared to ask him to show them… though he had to admit he did offer… Great. Now Lucifer was really going to kick his ass, but alas he had to back up his claim.
“ Fine I will.” He spoke quickly as his hand lifted a old fashion key from his pocket as well as a piece of chalk. He was about to go to the wall when he stopped. The one woman having asked his friend that question followed by Lukias’s reply.
“ You know…. You can always tell me if you ….. Would rather not so some things….. Right?” He asked with just a hint of actual concern in his voice. Like he almost cared what the human thought of him. Something that Kane had not often worried about before. His hand was still holding the items, taking a moment before actually using them to allow them to enter the dark world of sin.

Lianna watched Kane, happy to see his hasty reaction to her words. Maybe he was able to back it up then, at least from the knowing the place side. Being the first kin of one of the originals though? That she still had doubts about. Even so she was hardly going to step into the originals domain before Kane did, she didn't expect them to enjoy unannounced guests in their hidden world.
"Maybe I was a little quick to dismiss your claim." She admitted, though from her one it was quite clear that the vampire wouldn't be getting anything else in way of an apology.
=====
Be nice to him, he's like you, though not mine, but mine needs to be nice. Iaria continued to remind her bondling that she could stand to be nicer, which didn't exactly help her try to hold a civil conversation.
"Shame that's how it normally ends up. Just remember that your head is there for a reason okay?" She gave a slight smile, at Kane's words, glad to hear that Lukias had some choice in his descent into things. "Wait until you wake up tomorrow and realise it wasn't a dream, that bit is always fun."

Blinking at the vampire he was still more or less attached to, the albino looked a little bit..Not surprised, really. But once again caught off guard. He hadn't been expecting anything like that, for Kane to actually sound even a little bit worried. He had seemed to be taking a pretty light view of what he dragged him through, Lukias thought.. At least compared to the on-and-off fretting, and of course getting sick, he, himself, had been doing. And it wasn't as though he'd been prepared to complain about it or anything, he still thought Kane was being pretty good about tolerating him, but still.. He felt a little twinge of affection for the other, and what had passed for a smile before became almost another expression entirely, warming exponentially and becoming, for a moment, easy and sincere. He gave Kane's arm a little squeeze.
Of course, there was no way Lukias was going to tell him he wanted to sit out. Concern or not, he couldn't see Kane putting off proving himself to that woman, and there was still no way he was going to sit anywhere by himself. So, at least the way he saw it, he was still more or less boxed in. But he..Would just have to deal with it. He looked back over to Farren, and he was all hesistant-friendly again, entertaining ideas of what her bird- Or she- might be in the back of his mind.
Her talking about waking up in the morning actually drew a soft little laugh out of him. "..Yeah," he answered finally, at the same time as he shook his head a little, contradicting himself in a really vague sort of way. "When I get over the shock, I'm probably going to..I don't even know." He'd already gotten sick. He supposed he might finally pass out. If he did, he decided, he'd rather the whole thing hold off until the morning, so at least he could land on his bed. This woman was a lot more reassuring when she wasn't saying things that gave him chills. It was probably just that she was talking to him, and hitting more or less on the 'civil' mark, at least more than the other woman she was with(Who he continued to primly ignore, hopefully not at the risk of her irritation..Although he was still sure she'd called him a pet), but he had decided that he liked her okay.

Kane smirked at this. “ Good if there is no more complaints. Then follow me.” He grinned as he went to the wall pulling his friend along and started to draw with the piece of chalk. Once the door was drawn, the young man placed the key into what looked like a keyhole that was drawn and turned it with a bit of a click. A smirk grew upon his pale face as suddenly the door opened and the man walked through. Tugging at Lukias’s hand playfully. One everyone was through the door would shut and seal away once more….
