Arms of Sorrow (Warning: This contains scenes of extreme gore, torture, and suffering)
Imprisoned, inside this mind,
hiding behind the empty smiles
so simple (delinquish)
isn't much made
crawling back into the dark[/center]
I could no longer run. I had to face her. I turned, sword held tight in my fists. I had to defend Rasika, who was tossed aside by the completely crazed Ryusei like a rag doll. Ryusei Bloodmoon had a mouth full of jagged teeth curled into a sadistic smile, flailing knife-like claws, and endless agility and strength. She sprinted towards me like an enraged wildebeest. She darted down before I could counter and slammed her fist into my gut. I doubled up and she grabbed my arms, soaring up. I tried like hell to slash at her with the sword, but her sheer aura turned the steel into dust. The hilt fell out of limp hands. I stared helplessly into her slitted carmine eyes. The world turned dark. The scream reached my ears seconds after the intense ripping pain registered in my brain. Bloodmoon was gazing into my eyes as her aura snapped fine lacerations at my torso. She seemed to be tattooing my flesh. Red whips slashed across my face. Again. And again. And again. She let me go. I stood there in stunned silence before gravity was recognized: her gravity. "Kamaitachi no Mai," she muttered. Dance of the Weasel Scythe.
Running, always running, into the distance.
Stop me before I bleed, again.
The echos of my voice
follow me down.
The shadows I cast
follow me down.
Stop me before I bleed, again.
The echos of my voice
follow me down.
The shadows I cast
follow me down.
She slammed my body into the ground with a flick of her finger. "Senbon no Mai," she intoned. Dance of the one thousand needles. I shrieked uncontrollably, unable to break her stare as hundreds, thousands, no millions of tiny pins repeatedly stabbed my body. No one dared intervened and my eyes begged Rasika not to rescue me. It would do nothing except direct Bloodmoon's torture onto her (or him, if you wanted to consider the body she was cursed with). Shadows snaked around my legs and I began sobbing as they slowly integrated themselves into my leg bones to slowly shatter them.

The agony wouldn't stop and even though I tried to suppress it, the screams kept coming. Her claws were slitting open my flesh now, blood spilling across her palms. She had the power of my death. I couldn't die unless she willed it. I couldn't move, legs broken of all bones, arms ripped of all nerves that controlled movement. My stomach cavity was open now, revealing my viscera, stomach, kidneys, and spleen. "Chihime no Mai," Bloodmoon whispered. Dance of the Blood Princess.
There must be serenity.
Endless anguish. Excruciating torment. The excoriation of my flesh in strips. Flaying me to pieces. Interminable torture.
The echos of my voice
follow me down.
The shadows I cast
follow me down.
follow me down.
The shadows I cast
follow me down.
Bloodmoon's gore-covered palm slammed into my empty abdominal cavity, the agony driving my mind into horrific migraines. The last dance was just that: the last dance. I felt my blood hardening into rigid spikes that then impaled themselves out of every pore of my body. I saw red darkness. Chihime had affected my eyes, but it did not end there. I could feel the pressure as the demon delved into my mind, scratching at my very soul.

My body bucked in blind torture. I couldn't stop screaming. She was now tearing me limb from limb. I couldn't feel my feet. Then my legs. Then my hands. Then my arms. My torso started to separate from my head. Talons pricked at my neck. I could feel muscle fibers separating, ripping, breaking. Bones popped and splintered. Blood pooled in my mouth, eyes and under my head.
The demons of my own design.
This horror must not remain.
This horror must not remain.
I think she was done because I could see again, barely though because of the intense agony. I felt as if I was falling into an endless pit. I saw my body. Bloodmoon was devouring my leg, cleaving off the flesh with her saw-like fangs and swallowing the chunks. My bodiless head rolled back and I saw Ren standing ten feet away from me, mouth wide in horror, eyes glistening in tears. My two arms were flung by Rasika, my lifeblood masking his pale aghast face.

Rasika was holding my head now. Bloodmoon was finished eating my body. Seeing his tears was worse than the torture his best friend had inflicted upon me. "Otouto, why...why didn't you beg for mercy?" he wanted to know, holding my head close. "Because, Aniki, it would have been worse if I asked such a thing like that. I prefer to die without begging. I'm a dog demon, but I won't beg like one," I told her weakly.
There must be serenity.
There must be deliverance.

I let Rasika have my rosaries.
Serenity.
Deliverance.
I fell into darkness, into arms of sorrow.[/sub]
