Aminna walks into the Celtic waters in a shimmering gown. Her alabastor hair is done up in a bun, complements of her Harundal friend. She speaks to the host and asks for a seat for two. He takes her to her table and hands her a menu

It was a few minutes past the hour they had agreed on taking by the time Vale made his way into the classy restaurant in the much more appropriate attire of a suit. His hair was still pony tailed but he'd forgone spiking it in favour of leaving his fringe a little messy. Still he looked far better than he had an hour ago, at least as far as looking normal went.
He checked at the reception stand to see if anyone had checked in by themselves recently and was soon pointed in Aminna's direction. While it meant that he had kept her waiting he was at least glad to see she had turned up, not that there was much reason for her not to after her insistence at helping him.
Now to get things straightened out as much as possible with how this was going to work and to see how agreeable the woman was. Smiling as he crossed the restaurant to her table he made sure to keep in mind that her Harundal friend would probably not take to kindly to him spending the night hitting on her.

Aminna smiles graciously as Vale takes his seat, "So... Should i treat this as an interview for a job or are we more like two people getting to know each other?." straight to the point as usual. Aminna's eyes are locked onto Vale's. She's interested... and her bun itches... Why is she wearing that thing again? Oh yeah. Mithandr said she'd look professional.
((btw sorry for tha long wait))

"I'd have to go for the latter, I've never had to give an interview before and I don't intend to start now. Besides I'm sure you are more than qualified to help me, I'd rather just know why you might want to and of course to make sure I can work with you." Vale smiles, making sure to keep his eyes from wandering anywhere.
"So, anything you want to know straight away or shall we order something for starters first?" Vale wasn't too eager to start the questioning game just yet but if she had any concerns it'd be best to get them dealt with sooner rather than later.

"It's okay we probably should talk first... And, to be honest, i'm just a little bit worried about you. Going up against a pair of Harundal who've allied themselves with a dragon? It sounds insane." She grins at him to show that she still thinks it's insane. "Then i found out you weren't magically inclined and i guess i just decided that i wouldn't mind helping you.
That's when the waiter walks up and does this little cough to show he's there. She smiles and looks down at the menu, "Umm... I think i'll have the Chicken Alfredo and a glass of water." She says to the skinny well dressed man.

"Ah well I'd have to agree to an extent. The dragon really does complicate things though, I've only really been able to gather intelligence and even that's got to the stage where I'm running onto dead ends a lot." Vale gives a little shrug. "Of course help is always appreciated, I just don't know what kind of help you are willing to provide since of course I couldn't ask you to endanger yourself in any way."
His attention is caught by the waiters cough, his eyes briefly dropping to the menu to scan it. "I'll have the Mixed salad and whatever wine you'd recommend."

"I'll have to bring this to the attention of my coven leader, Claudius, but i think i'll be able to take the case officially which means i'll be able to charge you for it." The self pleased smile on her face shows she's joking. Her violet eyes are alight with playful mischief. "Reguardless of whether or not the coven is willing to make this official i'll be doing what i want anyway which also means that keeping me out of danger isn't an option. If you go, I go: bottom line. I can't have you putting a blemish on my spotless record."

"I wouldn't want to cause you any trouble so feel free to do what you need to with your superiors. If you need compensation I'm sure I can manage to cover your expenses." Vale replied with a smile in return, though while she had been joking he wasn't. He didn't really want to have to put someone else out for his mission so he was going to offer all the same.
"Okay, but you better make sure you are up for this then, if things get ugly they'll go ugly fast and I'm sure you have a good idea of what Harundal are capable of." He continues, just wanting to be sure she understood how serious things were. He might not act overly serious most of the time but he wasn't about to make light of the odds he faced.

"Pishaw..." Aminna says, "Harundals, vampires or the toes of a giant... they all burn the same way." She says as the waiter places their plates in front of them. "I'm a Fire Storm user. That's Fire and Lightning so elementally i have both an avantage and disadvantage. Most demons are somewhat fire proof... which, at times, can be annoying as hell." She says as she spins her fork in her pasta and stabs at a piece of chicken before bringing it into her mouth. She doesn't mean to downplay the danger. Her coment is on the surface what it seems and she said what she said simply because it's funny, not because she doesn't realize how dangerous a single ancient Harundal would be. Not to mention one allied with another Harundal and a daragon of all things. Yet there's that ancient saying about strength in numbers, especially when one of that number is a witch.

"So basically you're telling me to solve my problems with fire , unless it's a fire immune demon in which case use lightning?" Vale chuckled softy as he picked at the contents of his salad with his fork. At least he'd run into someone with a sense of humour, he liked girls... erm partners with a sense of humour.
"We'll do some reconnaissance assess the current situation then move from there. With all the recent trouble in the city it's been hard to pick up leads but with a little magical help I'm sure progress will be fast enough." That seemed like the smartest idea to him, there were only so many harundal and ice dragons in the city, their search shouldn't be too hard.

Aminna chuckles as she pops another juicy piece of chicken wrapped in noodles into her mouth, "So, that being settled, i want to know more about these Harundal. What did they do to make your family seal them away?" Aminna's eyes are alight with an aged curiosity. A slight childish widening of the eyes combined with a dark expression that belongs to an adult.

Vale nodded a little before taking taking a couple bites out of his salad. He mulled over what to tell her as he finished what he was eating.
"So far as the tale goes, the pair took control of a castle during the dark ages in England, posing as a duke and his lady. They made a good job of hiding their true nature but the rumours started to spread about more unnatural goings on in the castle; peasants disappearing never to be seen again and the like. My ancestor was part of a demon hunting branch of a religious order." Vale sighs a little and waves a hand.
"Superstition was a lot more prevalent in those days you have to understand. There are a few less... agreeable... activities the order took upon itself but I can assure you that my family line has moved far beyond witch trials. My half brother is actually part witch." Half witch and probably all still pissed at him but that was the way of things. maybe once he passed his duty on their relationship could improve somewhat.
"Anyway, the order went to investigate, turned up some evidence and proceeded to remove the threat. Apparently they had a rather nasty dungeon filled with a lot of experiments conducted on humans and a few night creatures they had rounded up. They've already killed since they've escaped so I can't sit by and watch them start up again."

-thank God for that- Aminna says as he talks about the witch hunt. "Admirable." Aminna says as she pushes her empty plate away from her and drains her cup in one long swig, "So i'll go speak to Claudius and... yeah. Is there anything you want to know about me first or are you ready to accept my offer?" straitforward to the point of annoyance... that's Aminna.

"I can't really say their is, it's clear you're a competent witch to have the respect of a demon and I can't see you doing this for any untoward reason." Vale gave a little shrug before smiling, taking a sip of his drink before continuing.
"Is it really just a case of feeling sorry for me going up against what I am though? I mean pity is one thing but putting your life in danger is another. Not that I'm ungrateful for the assistance of course." Maybe he'd just gotten lucky but having someone quite so happy to help in such an unusual situation was kinda... well more lucky than he normally was anyway.

"As an almost official part of the coven it's my job to know the extra goings ons in the city. You seem like a nice enough guy though so I'll help you with this little problem." She says as she stands up, "I have to go talk to Claudius as soon as possible. I'm pretty new to the coven and i'm not too familiar with it. Do you have a phone number or...?" Aminna silently berates herself for sounding so forward.

"I see, well that's fine, I'm sure you'll manage to get anything you need to get sorted sorted." Vale chuckles softly, patting down his pockets before producing a small business card. He holds it out, waiting for it to be taken. The card made him out to be a business consultant from a fancy high end business, but hey it had his phone number on it.
"Yeah don't worry too much about that, it's just a cover."

Aminna takes the card with a pleased look, "Clever." Clever is good. Clever is the difference between a usless master and an impressive neophyte. Does that cleverness transfer to his combat skills though? She'll see. In the meantime it's back to the tower to see Claudius. She hadn't been back that much since she turned in her paperwork to join the coven but... well she'll see when she gets there. "Thank you Vale." She says with a smile as she plucks her purse from where she had placed it on the floor. she deposites the card with a snap of her purse and says, "It's been a pleasure." Then she nods to him and turns on her hills to leave. As she walks out of the resturaunt she checks to see if the coast is clear before dissapearing into thin air.

"It was certainly a pleasure." Vale nodded as Aminna stood and made to leave. He watched her go, wondering just how this little partnership was going to turn out, especially with that Harundal of hers. Still it was going to be fun, and more of her company was definitely looking to be a plus.
"Guess I'd better pay for this then..."
