"Wow, this was a little unexpected." Vale states after a few moments of digesting the offer. He'd hardly expected such an almost demanding offer of help, it didn't seem like she'd take no for an answer on this Sure help would be great, he'd hardly deny that, he just wasn't sure he wanted anyone else getting put into a dangerous situation because of him.
"You know you don't have any obligation to help out with this. If you are so concerned though I'd certainly appreciate the help. As far as trust and friendship goes I'd prefer that's established over a before we get too involved in this, maybe over a drink?" He thought that sounded innocent enough a request, he wasn't about to jump into a dangerous situation with someone he didn't trust, as nice as she might seem. He gives it a moments more consideration before moving his hand to shake the one she'd offered. If nothing else he was curious about this woman who had a Harundal serving her willingly.

Mithandr gives Vale a cold glare as he asks about drinks. As overprotective as he is it's easy to see what he hears in this "innocent enough" request. He doesn't speak though. It would be rude and Aminna is not big on rude.
--------------
Aminna smiles graciously as he shakes her hand, "I would like that." She says about the offer to go get a drink. She releases his hand and turns to Mithandr, "When you get home he." she points to Vincent, "Will need to eat the elixer i made before we came here. It's in the refrigerator next to the milk. It's cold blue and despite what he'll say he shouldn't eat anything else after. He's like a puppy he'll eat all day if you let him."
---------
Mithandr looks taken aback, "You don't want me to come?" he asks, masking the hurt in his voice. Being around humans is alot more complicated than being with his own people. He doesn't know why he feels the way he feels because the way he feels is alien to him.
---------
"Vale and I will be fine my love." she says as she gently rubs his face, "I'll be home soon." Then she reaches for her magic and sends the other two home. She turns to Vale, "Shall we be going?"

Vale decides it's a good idea to keep quiet during the exchange, the last thing he needed was to have another Harundal that'd like to tear him apart given the chance. Still, it was a very interesting situation, seeing one of their kind so apparently worried over the safety of anyone, especially a witch. If nothing else it was a stark reminder not to stereotype other races just because the majority were blood crazy fiends. Though love? That was a little unexpected, he might need to try to keep things more business orientated than he'd been hoping.
"Right now?" Vale had to ask, patting himself over. He'd been getting that vibe but he wasn't really in the best attire for taking a lady out for a drink and his change of clothes he had in the back of his hired car were far from what he'd like them to be. Given his upbringing in an old fashioned family, he tended to drift to a higher class kind of environment out of habit, not necessarily formal, just respectable.
"Sure, sure." He started, attempting to recover something of his usual grace at this. A surprising woman certainly. "I've got a few places in mind depending on what your tastes are. There's a nice little place on the waterside if you don't mind something a little classy, I'll pay of course."

Aminna's eyebrow rises at the offer to pay but she makes no comment. Sure she hasn't been on a date with anyone in years due to her normally quiet nature and the fact that she has a Harundal who even in his human form is intimidating as hell. She smiles after thinking for a moment, "Of course. My usual hangouts are a little morbid, there aren't very many places i know of where a Harundal can stretch out and be comfortable, so whatever you choose is fine. I'm..." Now she's babbling... great. She forces herself to stop talking about the "kids" and look at him. She glances at his ancient armor and releases a musical chuckle, "You might want to change first though. I'm sure my dress is fine but i think your formal wear is a little bit too... medieval." Her attempt at a joke... who told her this was funny she has no idea. Damn she really is out of practice talking to her own kind.

Vale had to smile a little at her words. He wasn't sure he wanted to inquire about what kinds of morbid places she usually found herself in with a Harundal, of course he could be imagining far more morbid things than she meant. Perhaps he should just work on getting to understand her a little better before letting his mind fill in the blanks.
"Shame there's not a good medieval themed restaurant around." Vale replied with a grin, patting one of his shoulder pads, "I've got a change of clothes in my car that should be respectable enough." It'd be somewhere to start off at least, if it ended up being too formal they could always move elsewhere depending on how things went. Of course knowing that she had a protective Harundal probably waiting for a chance to break one of his limbs he'd try to keep his tongue under control.
"I'm sure your dress will be fine, they'd have to have not taste at all to find a problem with how you look." At least he was trying...

Aminna smiles graciously before saying, "Why thank you." softly. She blinks twice and her violet eyes seem to glow with anticipation. She asks Vale, "So where exactly is this place?"

"It's on the other side of town, but the view over the waterfront is really nice at this time of day." Vale replies, "If that's a problem we can probably find somewhere closer, though I'm not as well versed with the restaurants around here." He shrugged a little, he knew it was a ways even with transport but it was a nice quiet spot and somewhere they'd not have to worry about most of the normal problems with this city.
"It's called Celtic Waters, I don't know if you've heard of it," he added.

"I haven't." Aminna admits. She smiles wide and says, "But distance isn't a problem. So... I'll go home and do something with my hair and i'll uh... i'll meet you there." Aminna figures he'll want to change clothes in private so she tilts her head and says, "Is an hour long enough for you?"

"An hour should be fine yes," Vale nods in reply, it wouldn't take him too long to get changed and presentable. "So assuming you'll be fine finding your way there I guess I'll see you again in an hour." He smiles, looking forward to seeing how this would play out for more than his usual reasons for once.
