Aminna continues to draw an ornate design onto the floor of one of the many nameless catacombs through which the mystic waters run. Since having become aware of the mystic properties her mind and soul had been drawn to this place, as if it were calling her. She had ignored the non-called callings of the mystic waters for some time now but no more could she do so. Maybe her mind is cracking into a million shards of madness. Maybe the years and near-solitude have taken their toll... Maybe this will kill her the way her godmother and teachers had told her it would if she should even try to express the Rites of Kayastraya and the Rites of Alorana together in this way. A gutteral growl from Mithandr startles her but she doesn't show it in the slightest as she continues to draw the mystic symbols through which she'll have to channel her power to create a familiar as only the ladies of the rising sun and setting silver can.
---
Mithandr is barely able to suppress the surge of affection for the black sorceress. What he can't help feeling is the utter stupidity in her actions tonight. Using forbidden magic to satisfy some curiosity was inexcusable. if she succeeded would be one thing but if it cost her her life it would be another. Crossing the blades on each of his four blood red arms the Harundal Demon continues to stand guard.

To think just as his leads on his target go cold he should find another one of those demons stalking around the city. Last he'd checked they'd gone practically extinct up here but then along comes those two which were supposed to be sealed away and this other one. Never a break for him it seemed.
The parchment in Vale's hand was glowing brighter as he continued down the catacombs, leading him closer to the demon, though the faint static of magic in the air wasn't lost on him either. Something else was down here with it and that could only mean more fun for him, he was glad he'd come fully prepared this time. Ancestral armour and blade, his own flammenschwert and his mateba, fully loaded with blessed bullets. If it came to a fight he wasn't going to be ending up under a dumpster again.
"Now I guess it's time to find out what our demon friend is doing all the way down here." He smiled, scrunching up the parchment in his hand to smother the light as he continued down the corridor. He was close enough that he could track the demon by the slight pulling sensation he was getting from his ancestral gear, apparently it wasn't picky on which Harundal demons it was attracted to.

Mithandr continues to watch as his favorite enchantress finishes the symbol. Three blank circiles with runes and fanged creatures dancing around them drawn onto a sheet of obsidian in that funky chalk she makes to create hollows. He knows exactly what she's doing... but is unable to find the words that will stop her.
---
Aminna finally finishes the sigil that will draw the power out the mystic waters and into the hollow shell she plans to create. reaching into one of the many hidden pouches she keeps with her Aminna throws the dust into the air above the sigil. She starts to let the mystic power flow outward from her core. She directs this power to flow into the Sigil, into the water and throughout her own body and Mithandr's. "Ut lam narat" she says as the waters repel her power. Layering the spell on top of the one to create Ne'em she flings a net of mental force and power into the uncooperative water and feels it finally begin to head her commands. Pulling out a crystal ocarina designed to look like an ornate sea-shell she begins to play a soft tune that rises and falls like the sea. Then her shoulder tattoo starts to prickle, alerting her to the presence of another being with not-so-good intentions. Aminna almost stops but instead hastens the output of magic, if she stops now she runs the risk of destroying herself and Mithandr. After hastening the output of magic she uses some of the excess to layer a quick illusion to Mithandr, one that will alert him to the danger as well.

Vale stopped for a moment as he heard the soft music emanating from further down the corridor, possibly where the demon was by the feel of his armour's tugging. He wasn't too keen on having to fight in these tunnels, too cramped and he's certainly need space to deal with a full strength Harundal. At least this one, assuming it wasn't in league with his target, wouldn't know him so he might be able to surprise the creature. Of course relying on a demon underestimating a human wasn't the brightest strategy, so he palmed a flash bang as well. Might have to just be a bit of recon for now.
He took a few more steps forward, stopping with a fair distance between him and the final turn which would lead him to the source of the music. Not too close, had to take into account his reaction time.
"I know you can hear me demon. I, Vale Alexandre Laird Rezerai, bearer of my families duty, demand you explain your presence in this place at once. If you should fail to comply I will have to assume you are in league with my target so then we'll probably get down to me sending you back to whatever hell you came from and all the usual." He still wasn't sure why he even bothered trying to give these speeches other than having had it drilled into him.
"I'll give you ten then I'll be interrupting the music lesson. So ten...nine..." He shifted his stance to better balance his weight, his free hand griping the hilt of his flammenschwert over his shoulder. Demons were not best known for being cooperative but perhaps this time he'd get lucky.

Mithandr releases a low his/growl that rumbles in his chest but sounds like steam form his demonic lips. His stance is widened and his arm blades are already ready. He glances back at Aminna and utters in his gutteral voice. "How long will it take you to create her?" His deep voice thums.
-----------
Aminna layers another sound based illusion telling Mithandr that the ritual was near completion. The mystic waters swirl in complex spherical figurations above the symbol. Aminna layers another spell over the complex matrix of magic woven into the ritual. This spell pulls on the techniques of the rites of Kayastraya to create a faint outline of a tiger immersed in blue crystals. Aminna focuses on the tiger, forcing raw power into it in order to stimulate the spell into a convulsive frenzie. She closes her eyes and enters the final stages of the spell.
----
As the water envelopes Aminna and the Ne'em Mithandr leaps to the opposite side of the narrow underground river. "Narrow minded human! Flee from this cavern if you know what is good for you!" Crouching so that his bald helm like head makes a parallel line with the ground. He scurries at frightening speed towards the voice, prepared to defend himself if he must. Before he reaches the hunter he voices a single warning, "I will show no mercy to any who threaten my mistress!"

Vale grinned some at the response he received, typical demon arrogance and all he did was ask a question. Well okay, less asking more demanding but still, civil conversations were rare. He shifted his stance a little as the demon came into view, his finger tightening in the pin of the flashbang.
"I'll leave when I'm satisfied demon, your answer or your blood, either works for me." He replied as he swiftly drew his two handed sword, the wave patterned blade giving off a dim glow. He placed the point between his feet, twisting the blade into the ground.
"Your move." He keeps his eyes firmly on the demon, ready to move at a moments notice should it lash out at him. At least he wouldn't be able to complain about this night being eventful.

Aminna frowns at the narrow minded human comment but ignores Mithandr's words, he's always like that when he's agitated. She corrects a slight miscalculation in her spell. She had been about to do the chant to breathe life into a Re'em(A red element creation) not a Ne'em(Blue element creation) So as the water convulses and enshrouds her she almost looses the spell and causes the entire mystical river to release a shock wave of ethereal might the likes of which both her and Mithandr and their little guest had almost no hope to survive. She finally pulls the instrument from her lips and with a voice that sounds as if three woman with bell like voices are speaking she says, "Ne ha soah kage em" and the waters fall, revealing the raw form of the Ne'em. Now that the dangerous parts were over Aminna hops to her feet and quickly begins modifying the creature so that she may come to Mithandr's aid, unfortunately with the modifications she had planned on using on the creature she would be busy for a while.
-----
Mithandr's growl rumbles, "I won't explain myself or my actions to some weak two armed creature with delusions of being a threat to a Harundal... This is YOUR one warning. Leave me and my mistress to our own ends and we'll leave your arms attached to your torso and let you to flee!" He means it too. Unless this human was a damn good sorcerer or some almighty demon pretending to be a human then his speed and strength would attain him the victory it always has, or so he thinks. Another sound based illusion of Aminna's voice says, "Pride comes before the fall." and Mithandr calms himself down and continues to stand at the ready.

Vale shakes his head a little, tapping the hilt of his sword idly with his fingers. Never could just answer a question could they.
"I'm afraid that's not much of an option for me, little hard to let your kind run around unchecked. For all I know I have no quarrel with you, but unless I know otherwise I'm afraid I'm going to have to insist on an answer. If I have to go through you and get a peek at your mistress myself, can't say it'd ruin my day." Vale sighs a little feigning boredom though his focus was still squarely on the demon. Anger was a double edged sword but it'd served him well enough so far when dealing with demons and other creatures of the night.
"Your move." He repeats, a slight smile gracing his face. This whole situation was striking him as a little odd though. The demon was using the word mistress but he hadn't noticed any other demonic presences on his way in here. As far as most records showed Harundal were pretty much at the top of the demon food chain so for this one to be serving something other than a demon, well that was undocumented. Then again his family had been a little preoccupied with those two in particular.

As sparks and shivering light of blue and violet flow from Aminna and endow the creature with power and for she shoots Mithandr a withering look, he shouldn't have mentioned he wasn't alone. If this man was truely hunting Harundal he could prove to be very problematic. -Stupid Harundal logic... Just keep him talking you idiot!- she thinks with a pout as she exends parts of her own personality into the still colorless Ne'em.
-----
Morgan's eyes widen at the mention of Aminna. He doesn't see the look she gives him, he's too busy being enraged by the man's mention of his "Mistress". Of course after a few moments he calms himself down as Aminna had taught him to, rage and skill are mutually exclusive to most warriors and Mithandr is no exception. If rage guides his hands he'll get sloppy and he doesn't want that. "You're one to talk human!" He spat, "Your kind rape your young, kill and steal from each other but somehow it is we who shouldn't run around unchecked?" He sneers, "Let us have no qurrel then... or let hell fire have you!" he says.

"A fair point," Vale concedes, his fingers still gently tapping the hilt of his sword for a moment before stopping, "but that doesn't change my reason for being here. Two of your kind have recently been on a happy little rampage through this city, the same two my ancestor sealed away during the dark ages. Now I find it highly suspicious that I should track another of the same kind into a place like this, and while I may not have a nose for magic there is clearly something brewing that you are protecting." He motions with his head in the direction that the demon had scurried from.
"For all I know you're not involved with my targets, but then for all I know you are. Don't mistake me for some fool blinded by a wish to exterminate anything that isn't human, I know full well that most creatures can be reasoned with and my blades only draw blood as a final option. So I'll ask you again, one more time, satisfy me that whatever you and your mistress are up to down here isn't a danger to anyone and we can part without violence." He keeps his gaze directly on the demon, waiting for any hostile movements. This one didn't seem eager to fight, but then again he might just be stalling for time. He guessed he was going to find out one way or another soon enough.

((Duuuude... i really butchered my last post, i gotta spell check and re read more often))
Mithandr takes a glance towards Aminna. Not having a nose for magic meant the witch should be able to handle him with ease but... Mithandr himself had no nose for magic as was common amongst Harundal. The problem here is that neither party has enough information to discredit or believe the other. Then there's the problem of the face that doing this could hurt many people... but only if they're close to the spell if Aminna gets it wrong. Then again she is in the final stage so the danger has passed. With a tired sigh Mithandr raises his hands the way he's seen countless humans do on television and says. "It isn't in me to battle where there isn't reason. Our actions harbor no ill will towards any other, only the satisfaction of my mistress's foolish curiosity. Know this, Vale Alexandre Laird Rezerai, and leave us be." His long tail is curled up behind him though, ready to strike if Vale should take advantage of Mithandr's stance. ----------
Aminna finishes the final touches on the Ne'em and in a voice that echos with raw power she names it, "Thou art Vincent Seiya Lethifold" and the tiger releases a roar that causes the mystic waters to churn and bubble as if alive and roaring in unison. Aminna wipes the sweat from her brow as she looks at the tiger. It's fur is blue with purple stripes and it emits a faint blue tinged glow. It's eyes are black and glassy while it's muzzle and underside are faintly white with sparse silver hairs that cast an even greater glow. The mystical beast projects it's thoughts at Aminna, telling her it's hungry. Aminna swoons for a second but then activates the rights of Alorana and shifts her and Vincent to Mithandr's side.

((In browser spell check helps, though I'm terrible at picking up errors myself XD ))
Vale watches the Harundal for a long moment before slowly picking his sword up and replacing on his back. His finger slipped from the pin of the flash bang as well but he still kept it palmed for now, habits being a little awkward to break around what he'd been primarily trained to hunt.
"And here I was thinking I might finally have found a lead. So much for that." He sighs in a more relaxed tone, though still keeping an eye on the Harundal. "If nothing else could I speak with your mistress once she's done I could do with seei..." He trailed off mid sentence as the woman and the tiger thing appear next to the demon. Well that certainly wasn't natural, though he was drawing a mental blank on what it was so it wasn't a demon as far as he knew.
"I must assume this would be the mistress." He commented before giving as much of a bow as he dared to without knowing her own reaction to his presence. "I do apologise for the interruption, though if you could clarify a few things for me I will trouble you and your companion no further." He returned to an upright position, eyes scanning over the woman and demon once more. Certainly an odd combination, and the Harundal in particular. Maybe the time with the witch, which he had to first suspect she was given the sudden appearance and lack of otherwise telling physical properties, had mellowed him some.
'She's not half bad either', his mind started to wander a little, 'Demon here, dangerous, no time for thinking that. Work first play later... unless you get a good opening. No wait dammit... I hope she can't read minds at least'. At times he had to wonder if he really was the most suitable person to be entrusted with carrying his families duty.

Aminna gives Mithandr an irritated glance before turning to look into Vales eyes with a look that irritated doesn't begin to describe. Then her face melts into a more interested exression as she looks into his brown eyes thinking -Well, i guess if he's going to leave Mithandr alone i don't have to be.. mean- "May i ask the name of our guest?" She says to Mithandr without looking away from Vale.
-----
Mithandr's shoulders slump as Aminna gives him what he calls her do-that-again-and-i'll-rip-off-all-four-of-your-arms look. Then when she speaks he answers, "He's Vale Alexandre Laird Rezerai." hoping she'll use this knowlege to curse the fool Mithandr raises his arms back to a more battle ready position.
-----
Aminna smiles as Mithandr gives her the guys full name. He'd often given her such information because she had studied with a few witch doctors that could curse a person's name. She found the art archaic and very rude, "So Vale what do you want from us?"

Vale eased up some more as it seemed the woman was going to remain civil with him for the time being. That was good, things hadn't ended in violence with the demon so to have them do so with her would be unfortunate.
"I was wondering if you might be kind enough to fill me in on what you were up to down here. I'm hunting a pair of rogue Harundal who have been making a few messes around the city so you'll understand that I naturally had to wonder what your companion was up to down here. If you have any knowledge of other Harundal in the city as well that'd be most appreciated." He kept his eyes focused on the woman, though occasionally flicked them to the Harundal and the tiger. He wasn't exactly comfortable with the potential odds if they did decide to attack.
"Allow me to apologise for the interruption as well I mean no insult to you or your companion and have no intention of dragging him into anything simply because of his race." He thought he'd better clarify that for her as well. He had heard stories about how radical the coven had been getting in recent times and he was eager to distance himself from that kind of racism.

Aminna decides to play the dance of politics with this hunter of Harundal, "Well... We were attempting to satisfy a certain mystic curiosity i felt unable to ignore." At this The Ne'em, Vincent, releases a purring sound that sounds more like the rumble of the ocean as the surf hits the shore. Aminna, like she had been taught, had just explained none of her actions and all of them. Playing with words and tip toeing around the truth is something all witches should master. She gives Mithandr an look that a mother gives her child when he's covered in food, a look both fond and annoyed, "And you'll have to excuse my friend here. He's a little quick to temper but show me a Harundal that isn't and I'll show you a miracle." She laughs and turns back to Vale, "Now i have a question for you. What is this business with the Harundals?"
-----
As his lady speaks Mithandr finally drops his combat ready stance only to curl his tail up so should this Vale do anything to threaten Aminna he'll be ready to strike him down like the idiotic fool Mithandr thinks him to be.

"I see, to be honest what you do is your own business and so long as it doesn't involve harming others I have no personal need to worry over it." Vale watches the tiger for a few moments, he was a little curious out what had gone into creating it but that wasn't his direct concern. He was also far from knowledgeable with most forms of magic so he figured he wouldn't understand much of what was said anyway.
"As for my business with the Harundal I am tracking, the pair were sealed away a long time ago by my ancestor after a reign of tyranny in England. It's a long story so I'll spare you the details. Needless to say they've escaped what was their prison so it falls to me to stop them again before they kill anyone else." It wasn't like the Haundal he was tracking didn't know he was here so letting slip that much was perfectly fine as far as Vale was concerned. That said he didn't consider much of his mission all that hush hush. Most people around here would just think a human was crazy for hunting a pair of demons.

"So let me get this strait..." Aminna says, honestly a little worried, "You, a human who knows no magic, are hunting not one but two Harundal who your ancestors sealed away?" She looks upon his visage, "With swords and armor? and a revolver?" She doesn't hide her emotions in her tone, she obviously thinks what he's doing is foolish. despite feeling the hum of mystical power from the assortment of equipment she does feel that what he's doing is going to get him killed.

Mithandr suppresses a laugh but keeps his tail at the ready.

"Pretty much." Vale shrugs some, the tone of the woman's voice making it quite clear she thought he had some form of death wish. Well maybe he did but at the end of the day if a human beat them once they could be beaten again.
"It worked at the turn of the sixth century, I'm sure it'll work just as well now." He smiled some, there really wasn't any point getting worked up over particulars. Sure if he was a witch or something it'd be easier, but his half brother had been barred from taking his duty for not being fully human.

"Well..." Aminna says as Vincent reminds her that he hasn't ate in the entirety of his existence, "...I guess we can agree to disagree." Then she tilts her head allowing her hair to fall and cover her features, "May good will and fortune smile upon you hunter." Then she bends low to Vincent's side.
-----
"I have one question for you." Mithandr says after his lady is done speaking, "How did you know i was down here?"

"Looks like that's going to be the case." Vale agreed, grinning a little. He let his hand finally release his grip on the flashbang he'd kept palmed, sliding it back into his belt without a fuss. "Likewise, I hope your curiosities get satisfied without trouble, I doubt I need to tell you how much of a mess this city seems to be." He added, figuring between her and the Harundal she had for a companion she was probably better off than he was for the most part in the safety department.
"Oh that." Vale turned to the Harundal as it questioned him, pulling out the parchment he'd scrunched up earlier. The paper was still glowing, albeit more dimly after it's rough treatment. Unfolding it revealed a series of runes surrounding a long string of Latin words roughly reading. 'He who seeks the darkness shall be guided by the light'.
"I might not be a magic user myself but the church can provide some fun little toys. This one was keyed to pick up your kind, though not to differentiate between my targets and others. Not going to be so useful now I know there are more than the two I'm after around." He explained, crunching up the parchment again and putting it away to get rid of the annoying light.

Mithandr's curiosity is piqued of course. An item that can detect Harundal would prove to be a nasty little hindrance in the hands of most but... this Vale person certainly isn't like most, "Name the two you seek" he commands. A sharp look from Aminna reminds him to add, "...please." he gives her a smile and watches her roll her eyes.
-----
Aminna directs Vincent to the water. He touches his "father" with his paw before turning to Aminna and reminding her that he's hungry, "Once Mithandr finishes up with Vale we can go." She says. In a few days he may be able to venture from her side but now he needs to be in the same place as his creator.

Vale taps his foot for a few moments, watching the Harundal and deciding if naming his targets was a great idea. He couldn't be sure what this demon's intentions were and the last thing he needed was a have to deal with another one. Then again, Mithandr seemed far more interested in his master's protection than anything else.
"Cerantirvous and Telckla are their names. I'm currently revaluating how much power they have reacquired but given all that's been happening in the city it's been a little hard to keep good tabs on them." Vale sighed a little smiling jsut a bit. "The former even has an Ice dragon working for him now so it's all been a little awkward."

Satisfied with the fact that these Harundal were no one he knew Mithandr turns to Aminna and instantly sees her "mother-hen" expression and thinks to himself -Oh sh**-
------------
"Ice dragon?!" Aminna says the word as if unable to believe it, "You're fighting two Harundal, ancient ones no less, who've allied themselves with an ice dragon?" She says each word slowly as if trying to get Vale to see how idiotic his actions are. Once she realizes it, though, she speeds up. She doesn't want Vale to think she thinks he's inept or "touched" even though she kinda does. "What alleys have you?" she snaps, "Are you allied with creatures of darkness? of light? witches?" She doesn't leave space for Vale to answer as she gives him a very motherly tongue lashing, "You can't think to go up against such odds no matter how well equipped you are! This is not some video game this is the real thing! Life in all it's dangerous glory! How do you expect to defeat such odds? Answer me that Vale Alexandre Laird Rezerai!"
---
As she speaks Mithandr shakes his head, he knows what comes next. so he mummers, "Aminna and her bleeding heart." softly under his breath with an affectionate grin. He tucks his tail away since Aminna believes him to be not only telling the truth but to be worth the effort she is extolling now.

Vale stands for a few moments completly gobsmacked by the sudden lecture he was reciving from the woman. Someone who had seemed keen enough that they part ways without much incident was suddenly deciding he was insane. It wasn't like he asked for an ice dragon to get involved or anything.
"Okay, look, I know it doesn't sound like the brightest idea in the world but that's just how it is. I really doubt anyone expected them to come back after so long but they have. You may not think a human stands much of a chance and you might be right but last I'd seen they still were not back at their full power. Now with all the things that have been going on and that ice dragon being thrown into the mix I've had a lot of fun trying to get any sort of lead on them." Vale replies clearly not overly happy with how things had been turning out as it was.
"I can at least assure you that I know very well how serious this task is. I've not gone and jumped into a fight I couldn't win."

Mithandr throws the illusion of human flesh over himself like a cloak. Where was once a huge Harundal now stands the image of a young man of African-American heritage. He wears a loose tank top, Baggy jeans and new tennis shoes.
-----------
Aminna heaves a sigh. She isn't impressed but for the next few days she'll be doing god knows what if she decides to help out this hunter. Why does she do this? Why does she get into these situations so easily? Mithandr was right about her bleeding heart and she makes a mental note to "thank" him for that comment that he thinks she didn't hear. So she makes her decision and gives Vale a measuring look, "Alright... This is how this is going to go, " she says with that mother hen voice, "I really don't like this. It isn't right for you to go up against such odds alone." Her body and the bodies of Mithandr and Vincent dissolve and reappear, "If you'll allow me to i'll help you hunt these Harundal but, in return, i'll need your trust and friendship." She smiles like a pixie as she offers Vale a hand covered in a black glove.
-----------------
Mithandr rolls his eyes. These words were the exact ones she had used after saving him from being mutilated. He looks down at Vincent and listens to the tiger's belly rumble.
