He hadn't really been sure where he was headed when he'd set out that afternoon. But it was just as well, because he didn't know exactly where he was now. Well..He was outside of a church. He knew that. But besides that..Eh..He never had been good at finding his way around new places. It was alright, though. He didn't really have anywhere to be, anyways. As long as he could find his way home eventually. But then it'd started spitting rain, half-hearted little spurts, like it might start up in earnest soon.
So he'd found himself a nice little place to sit, under an overhang afforded by the old building, just in case a downpour did decide to come down on his head. He'd considered trying to get inside, seeing if the doors were locked, and he still was, really. He'd always been fond of churches, and this building seemed old, and, in a way, friendly. He guessed it would be neat on the inside. But at the same time, the longer he sat there, the less he was liking the idea. Maybe because it was so unfamiliar, it would seem like intruding.
Still sprawled out quite easily on the ground, he was looking at the doors at that moment, in fact, again considering a venture inside. A rose, snatched from one of many, twirled idly between his fingers. He turned his gaze back down to it, inspecting the petals half-heartedly. This really was a pretty place. But now, well. He was starting to get hungry, and all he had to look forward to was more wandering. Going off on foot in an unfamiliar city had been stupid, really. It had seemed fun at the time, but now..Not so much. He took a breath, let it out in a sigh. He needed a map.
((>: Okay, this is my first post on a board in years. Did I do anything stupid?))

Kane was walking down the road. Muttering to himself in utter agitation at his masters sudden taking to that blonde haired wretch that was now using the old wing of the vampire’s villa for his little whore house. Hn, he was going to have so much fun playing with that fresh one when Valken had to get in the way. Stupid ass, always trying to act better then him when he was the senior here. Being Lucifer’s first created. The young blonde stopped though as the scent of human flitted through the air. The smell of flesh and living blood wafted through the strands of curly dirty blonde hair that had fallen into his face. He pushed a strand back, eyes of brown searching the darkness. Senseing where the young… man was it? Was located. With a bit of a smirk the Vampire headed for the Church of Roses. His masters bratty twins usual stomping grounds. Though she was hopefully still at the villa as he searched out his new fascination. Fresh blood, how long had it been since he had seduced a person into letting him feast upon their flesh. His master would kill him if he actually killed the person but Kane had become experienced in taking -just- enough. Though sometimes he wondered why they just couldn’t live like the old days. Wasn’t like their was a shortage of humans anyway. With a graceful sweep Kane went to pass the young man as if he belonged there at this hour and stopped almost as if he was blind as a human.
“ Who’s there?” He asked nervously. Playing the stupid human once more. Hiding the sinister smirk he thought he was about to feast when he would gain the man’s confidence. Though often what Kane thought, and what actually happened was two different things.
(( Nope your doing just fine XP ))

Lukias's mind had begun to wander, and had found itself quite far away, so when he began to wonder if he might've heard someone approaching, it was in a very detached, careless sort of way, and he was quite convinced he was imagining it, anyways. He couldn't really think why anyone else would be around. So when he was quite abrubtly informed that he wasn't by himself, he started, jumping as sharply as though the building behind him had reached out to pinch him. The movement jerked his hand, and brought his thumb slipping hard down onto a thorn- A low hiss of pain escaped him, and he glanced briefly down at the rising bead of blood before finally looking up, eyes straining into the darkness.
"Um..Just me.." he answered, unsurely. He wondered if, maybe, he wasn't supposed to be here. But he wasn't really hurting anything (Besides himself). He couldn't really think of any reason for anyone to object to him sitting there, on the ground, no less.

Kane cursed as the smell of blood being shed from the flesh hit the air. Dammit, this was a tease! Worse then any bar woman was in his living life. To have the smell of blood so fresh, so warm in his nose even if he wasn’t as close as he would like to be. He knew it was there, and it drove him mad for it.
“ That really explains a lot you know! I didn’t think people came this late to pay homage to the Lady of the Roses.” He spoke up, walking about as if he was blind, though with his vampire eyes it was if he was walking through a brightly lit room. Kane didn’t let this be known as he wondered about. Acting as blind as a bat for the moment.
“ Or are you one of the thugs looking to jump me for my wallet? Don’t tempt me, I can fight!” he called out, making his voice sound nervous as for a brief moment a glint of fang could be seen beneath his lip but just as quickly it was hidden once more. Something that many would think only a play of light upon the mans face as the pale youth kept a ear trained upon the young mans heart. With a comical stance he put up his fists in display, trying to see if he could lure the boy out to the light of the walkway. Lure the human from it’s safety it found upon the earth. Kane was playing it as best he could and well. The man could be a grand actor when he wanted to be.

Lukias pushed himself awkwardly to his feet, grunting softly at the pins-and-needles feeling in his legs as the blood rushed back into them. His right hand, bleeding thumb attached, found itself jammed promptly down into his pocket, pressed hard against the handkercheif there, the flower that had done the wounding dangling from his free hand thoughtlessly as he stepped toward the other, corners of his mouth lifting, just slightly.
"I'm not a thug. Promise," he said, barely-hesitant amusement creeping into his tone as eyed Kane, a little bit warily, but overall he looked more apt to laugh at the little display than be worried by it. "Just.." He paused, then shrugged helplessly. "A little bit lost."

Kane relaxed at this. Looking to the guy mimicking his gesture as he put his hand into his pocket and let the other one hang cooly by his side. A small grin embracing his face as eyes of honey brown looked into the young albino’s.
“ Hn, lost? I take it your new to the city since most don’t know how to get lost once you have lived here a bit.” He smirked. Not mentioning the part that most people knew once it was dark out, you stayed out of the night and especially out of the back ways of the city where few often tread. Strange things went down and you were better off safe in your bed then out on the streets.
“ If you need a guide, I make a excellent one. Lets just say I have been here long enough to know the in’s and outs of this place.” He spoke with his usual sly tone of one who knew how to win another’s trust. The vampire looked down to the mans hidden hand for a moment. Smelling the blood but forcing his eyes away with a friendly smile as he removed his own hand from his pocket and took a step closer to the pale one.
“ The names… Kane, at least that’s what folks about here know me as. Ask for my by real name and hardly anyone could point you to me. What’s yours?” He asked politely. Luring the boy in his devilish trap, thinking for once maybe this would actually go smoothly though well. Most likely with Kane’s prior history… it probably wasn’t going to go as planned.

"I'm Lukias," he answered, one pale brow quirking, slightly, at the other's comment on the name he'd given, though the slight smile never left his face. Not exactly normal, he thought, and wondered if maybe this man was trying to sound tough. He certainly seemed more relaxed than he had just a moment ago, and Lukias breifly considered telling him he might steal his wallet yet, but decided against it for fear of sounding like a total idiot. "And yeah..I'd say I'm still pretty new.." He withdrew his hand breifly from his pocket to glance at the wound, then slipped it back against the handkerchief.
He considered what the other had said about being a good guide. Even a vague idea of where he was right now would help him.. And, he thought, smile broadening slightly, this Kane seemed like an interesting person. Maybe a little..Odd. But interesting. "I really don't have any idea where I am..I guess, if you meant it, having a guide for a little while wouldn't hurt me." The corners of his mouth again tugged just a little further upwards. "Provided you aren't just out to get the new guy even more lost."

As soon as the hand was slipped from his pocket Kane looked to it intently. Oh god he could have a food orgasm right there by the sheer sight of the life giving nectar. He was about to take the mans hand when he ran it back to the handkerchief disappointing the man for a moment before he smiled once more to the albino before him.
“ No, having a guide never hurt anyone.” He smiled as he moved about to the mans side. Placing his arm about the guys shoulders in a buddy, buddy short of matter. Using every charm he had to get close enough. He waved his free hand about.
“ And I’m the best there is in this city. I know pretty much everyone here, and then some.” He grinned in his most charismatic matter. Turning about he waved his hand to the grand church before them.
“ This my friend is the Church of Roses. One of the biggest churches in the city, and one of the most ornamental in my own opinion. The grave’s beside this place is said to be haunted by a female ghost who mourns over her lover, and that every rose bush that grows from the earth about the church, marks a spot where a innocent had once died. In the old days you see, this city was a battle ground. This church particular was home to a monastery and all the brothers and sisters living here were gruesomely murdered in a battle of invaders. Though now this place is way more … peaceful then it was back then.” He grinned takeing on a tour guide role and telling the man of the history of the church.
“ I come here to think a lot, especially when my mas…. When people irk me.” He almost slipped before grinning back to the albino once more.
“ So are you a church man or would you rather go get a drink at the locale bar?” He smiled. Planning on taking him to the Moonstone since that was the human joint about here. He could of taken him to Comrades but then the rat would chew him out for brining a human there…. Which could be quite fun once he thought about it. ….

Lukias blinked at the sudden contact, but didn't pull away. He couldn't say it exactly bothered him-In fact, he couldn't say he minded it at all- But it startled him, just a little. Lifting the rose that he'd still had ahold of, he gave it a little twirl, brows lifting slightly. "Well..That's..Kind of gruesome." Whether it was true or not, it still left him feeling a little strange, to have been sitting there for so long, especially with the rose in his hands.
Turning his gaze back to the other, he was smiling again, quite warmly now as he decided that this man was a pleasant person to be around. "I think I've sat here long enough to be sick of churches for a while," he said, and while he wasn't exactly sick of the building, he'd definitely had enough for the night. Maybe he'd come back, later, and check out the inside, he thought.

An odd almost transparent figure of white loomed across the road towards the doors of the Church of Roses, seemly sweeping across it with ease. A faint cool breeze shifted against mother natures own winds, if any, then settled as the white figure come up to the doors. A slight breath came about, though it would only be audible to the ones who were outside in the rain. Rain… Drops only poured through the apparition as if it was non-existing and it was. It was stuck. Doomed to wonder for ever until it finds its way to cross over peacefully. For a moment the figure disappeared the reappear a few times like a blinking light then came translucent, revealing that it was a young man with limp messy white hair and cold sadden pink eyes.
This was Allyen. The spirit of Allyen.
Allyen picked up his head and stare blankly at the door handle in front of him. What was he doing here? Was she here? No, no she would not visit a church, it wasn’t like her. Him perhaps? No again. A whisper was made audible again as he lean in to glance between the doors. He looked as if he was curious to what was inside though, he wasn’t. Only two different voices were heard. Both male, both sounding like the were outside.. Too bad he could not greet them…or could he? Although he had not thought of doing so but he phased through the doors anyhow.
ooc//: I hope you two don’t mind me joining. ^^; Oh and I could help but to laugh at 'food orgasm' x3

“ Gruesome but interesting hmm?” He smiled as he clasped his hands together pleasantly. Having removed his arm from about him he had started to move forward a bit. About to visit the human bar despite the risk for himself since he was a vampire, and that place was off limits to him. Stupid witches, always segregating everyone just cause they might eat someone….wasn’t like humans was a endangered species right? Kane waved the boy to him as he started to stroll forward. Only stopping as he felt the prescience of a spirit about them. He exhaled a bit through his mouth, only to inhale much like a cat picking up a scent. His fangs could barely be seen since he kept his lip relaxed on purpose. Great a real apparition, he swore if it was the ghost of that baron again he was kicking Mr. Frilly Pissy Pants ass… well if he could that is. With a bit of a sigh he nodded for the guy to follow. Not wanting to see what dead person with no body was doing about here.
“So, what sort of sights would you like to see besides the bar and dance club? “ he asked. Ignoring the prescience on purpose and trying to act as if everything was fine. He was going to get a good feed tonight one way or another, and no fucking ghost was going to get in his way!
(( Ooc: Feel free to follow them or whatever XD I don’t know how to get Kane to go to meet the ghost… since he’s sort of more interested in the human then a dead guy >.>: ))

Lukias tilted his head, very slightly, at the pause, waiting for the other to speak, drop into a dead-away faint, something. He was graced with neither, but, rather than ask, followed obediantly, drawing up alongside Kane. A breif chill passed over him, and he blinked, glancing quite casually around. It was probably just the blonde's story about slaughtered monks and the roses working at his subconcious, he thought, because he certainly hadn't been bothered by this place before. But he moved minutely closer to the other nonetheless, glancing one last time at the rose in his hand before tossing it casually back down among the living plants to wither.
"Well, what sorts of interesting things are there to see around here?" he asked, arching his brows as his shoulder bumped against the other's and swiftly stepping away again with a sheepish, half-laughing 'sorry'. Stupid, he reprimanded himself silently. Think the dead monks are gonna reach out and grab you?

“ According to what type of person you are.” Kane whispered as he stopped to look into the mans eyes. Peering down into those orbs and trying to hold the man captivated.
“Do you like the paranormal? Or would you rather just hear the same old boring facts and hot spots?” The vampire offered. Almost as if he was offering him the proverbial pills of red and blue. Take the blue pill, the safe one and your mind will believe whatever the little vampire tell’s it. Staying in it’s little cocoon thinking that you were the only one in this plane of existence and vampires, werewolves and things that went bump in the night was nothing more then a horrid little story told to you by your bigger brother. Though if you take the red pill, well that my friend would open you up to a world of wonder and fright. Both dangerous and erotic it would sail you deeper then any rabbit hole Alice could ever dream of.
“ Time is ticking my friend, though I personally have all the time in the world I would ever need.” He smirked. Almost starting to like this guy, and starting to think of him beyond just a source of fast food and maybe a object to amuse himself with. Kane was playing the part of the white rabbit in this very instant in time, and who could be sure. If this masculine Alice would take after the white rabbit, or be content to watch it in it’s fleeting moments upon this earth.

He drew to an immediate halt, nearly mid-step, the instant the other did, the change in tone a string around his neck, jerking him to a short stop. And what the whisper had started, Kane's gaze cinched, because if the former hadn't gotten him the eye contact definitely did. A dull feeling of dread and vague excitement settled heavily into his chest, and it was absolutely impossible to write this off as anything normal, with that honey-colored fire burning into him. He was hooked. And even as he still tried to laugh and shrug off the change in manner as an odd joke, he leaned back from the other slightly, taking an uneasy breath, continuing to focus intently on him all the while.
"Paranormal..?" he asked, softly, entirely unable to come up with any sort of answer. Logic still battled with instinct, and said he was surely about to be laughed at, that he was getting sick and a little bit delirious, imagining strange things. But logic was fading fast. And.. what did that mean? He had all the time he needed? He felt the hairs on the back of his neck raise. This was not the same guy that had been brandishing his fists earlier. There was no way, he thought, still teetering precariously on the narrow fence between decisions. But, clinging to the fence so desperately, he wasn't doing much more than stalling. No, the tiny spike of adrenaline, quietly rising speed of his heart, said he was about to be pulled into something. He just didn't know what.

“ Oh you know all that hogwash about ghosts and demons and such. This city has a dark past you know. Threes plenty a horror story residing in it. Going all the way back to the days of the witch trials you know, and even then. They say heaven and hell even held battles here. Some people like the hunt for the unknown, the paranormal, you know. The little secrets of the city. Though there are those that would just prefer the public truths. Doesn’t matter to me which you prefer but I don’t want to show you the cheezy tourist facts if what you desire is something darker. Or vice versa for that matter.” The blonde spoke up with a bit of a playful smirk upon his face. This was going to be a fun night for at least one of them he grinned inwardly as he gracefully stepped about to the mans side and brushed up against his shoulder seductively.
“Don’t worry though, either way. I’ll keep the thugs off of ya tonight. “ He spoke in a matter trying to get this young man to relax about him and allow him closer and closer till he could take a bit of a snack from his youthful albino veins.

Those voices just outside were louder and it would seem the Allyen’s spirit had less interest to what was inside this Church of Roses. He didn’t even get a good glance around the place, his curiosity was on the two men outside. Wait, were ghost ever curious? Perhaps intelligent huntings were and he was defiantly that kind of hunting. Turning swiftly about he drifted back out through the doors and spotted them walking together. He did not smile nor move one non-existent muscle in his face. He only stare beeply but blankly at them with pink eyes. Slowly he came off the steps, the apparition blinking away for some reason but he still there following then.
Wait… Why did he say that? It wasn’t expected for them to wait but he whispered it lightly anyhow.

He listened intently as the other male went on, feeling, perhaps, a little bit of reason seep back into him, the vaguest lightening of the load Kane's presence had so suddenly dumped onto his shoulders. He thought, maybe, he sounded a little bit more..Normal, now, falling a little back into the role of tour guide. He really was just being stupid, picking up on some mood that didn't exist..But then Kane had to go and touch him, and he shivered ever-so-slightly, feeling his heartbeat pick up again. Oh, hell. There was no way he could even try and convince himself he didn't like that.
"I guess I'll leave that to you, then," he said, ignoring the little bit of his mind that said he didn't really know if Kane was a thug, himself. Well, he hadn't acted the part, he thought. Definitely not at first. But..What had he been doing out here in the first place? Shit, why hadn't he thought of that before? Oh, well. Maybe he'd ask him about it..Later. Right now, he was thinking that he wouldn't mind it if he touched him again..And, well, there WAS the protection to think about, right? Of course. "I suppose it would make me a boring person if I said I was only interested in the vanilla stuff, wouldn't it..?" he answered, finally, corners of his mouth curving readily, if a little bit nervously, upwards, pale gaze still fixed definitely onto the other. If he was, indeed, Alice..Well. It looked like he had just taken off on the chase.

Kane’s eyes flashed a bit, one orb looking to it’s corner. He had heard the spirit meaning it was gaining strength with them about. He took out his cell and looked down at it with a frown. Powering the item down so the specter had even less energy to draw upon thinking it wasn‘t a intelligent haunting. Kane wasn’t a helpful person and if this sheet of a night creature wanted someone to communicate with it better pick up on his master’s sister for she was the helpful one. Not him, at least when there was no one to make him care about.
“ Vanilla my friend? That is a strange reference. You might be careful who you say that to for they might take it another way.” He grinned a bit. He turned putting his arm about the man once more encouraging him on to the street side. Not waiting for the annoying ghost to follow, nor to see what it wanted. No it would have to be more persistent then that.
“ Allow me to take you to the center of town, to a little place we call the moonstone first, or if your hungry we can stop at the Red Queen Café, though I think the most interesting place here…. Is a place known as the Cheshire Cat. It’s filled with a bunch of freaks to say the least, a crew you will never forget.” He grinned in that oh so charming matter. Taking this proverbial Alice down the rabbit hole and into a world he could never dreamed existed.

"Wh--..Oh." His eyes widened, slightly, then he lifted a hand, crushing it to his face as comprehension dawned on him, muttering a low 'dear God..'. He could feel his skin heating up beneath his fingers, and groaned, palm muffling his words slightly. "Can we..Just forget that..That ever came out of my mouth, please.." Damn. Damn, damn, damn, damn..Idiot. He wondered if it was possible for a blush to spread down to his shoulders, and hoped Kane couldn't feel the change in temperature if it was heading that far south. But he didn't let his mortification impede his forward progress, trusting the other's welcome arm to guide him until he peeked out through his fingers.
"..Where do you think I'm less likely to make an ass of myself?" he asked, then laughed weakly. He was sure he was just making it worse.."Uh..I'm not particularly hungry.." he continued, still awkwardly. He would probably drop more food on himself than he'd be able to get into his mouth...

Something seemed, no, more like felt wrong with this Kane character he was following similar to the feeling when Allyen was around a vampire. The very presence of a vampire had made the tiny hairs on the back of his neck rise when he was living. He did not like vampires but he did not hate them. Horrible creatures but he was no different alive. He had his own occasional blood lust but it was nothing like his brother’s or Father’s blood lust, oh no. Those two would go insane with it. Allyen was beginning to wish that he wasn’t the spawn of that horrid changeling beast. Ah well, at least he wasn’t able to produce offspring to continue the Aristotle bloodline.
As he continued to follow with out reason, he left out a long breath of a sigh. Raven…

Kane laughed loudly at this, something he had not done so genuinely in such a long time. With a slap on the young mans back he grinned like the Cheshire cat himself to the young man. “Your too cute kid, come on. The Cheshire cat shall be our stop, just stay close. Some of the guys there can get a bit weird. All…. Side show acts if you get my drift. Though some of them are decent.” He smiled, hiding the inner snickering at his words. Side show acts as the least of it he thought mentally to himself. Though the looks of horror on everyone’s face when he walked in with his human friend. It would be priceless and Comrade would certainly be pissed. Though the man did want spark in his life and it was for his better good since he would be so easily consumed in this city by the darkness like many other humans if he wasn’t…. properly educated of course. “Just…. Remember. Don’t tell anyone about the place I’m takeing you to. It’s sort of a private joint and we don’t need riff raff showing up and ruining it for us.” He told him innocently as his eyes trailed over directly to where he sensed the annoying spirit. Honey eyes to many seeming to stare off into space, though in truth challenging the ghost before returning kindly upon his human friend. “ Come on. It’s not too far from here.” He told him innocently as he guided him away from the church and through the city…. (( ooc: Next post is the active thread in the bar ))
