Skulduggery nodded his head and reached into one of the inner pockets of his jacket. He pulled out a slim leather wallet, removed a neatly folded ten dollar bill and placed it carefully on the bar top before replacing the wallet.
"Certainly I can pay for the drink. Oh and no, I'm not a local." Been liv...staying in London for the last few years, working for the Elders there."
Of course last few actually meant last 72 but it wasn't like the barman needed to know that.

“ Elders?” Comrade asked curiously. Not sure what group he worked for. There were several different councils of paranormals, and none whom he had bad tidings with accept for the witches council. He turned to clean some fresh glasses as he thought about this.
“ So many new groups forming lately. Seems not even I can keep up with them all. So what organization do you work for anyway?” He asked as he filled the mans order and slid him the glass.

Skulduggery paused for a second, thinking about how to best phrase his response before answering. He lifted his glass and watched the ice shift around in the amber liquid.
"The Elders look after the community. There is always five of them at any one time and each one is a quite exceptionally powerful representative of their respective..uh..profession."
He pulled the scarf down slightly and tried to remember the smell of whiskey as he raised the glass to where his nose should be.
"The elders have been around for centuries, but I don't work for anyone at the moment. Strictly freelance for the next few years."

She isn't here yet but she's on her way, go in and get a drink or something, she won't be long and then we can talk.
"You could at least try to look more normal." Leonous hissed to the large eared, squirrel fox on his shoulder. Even though he was perfectly capable of talking to the thing telepathic he still had a habit of speaking to it like a normal pet. Trainis was far from normal however.
I want her to see me. Trainis replied simply.
"But she'll know..." Leon' cut himself off, it was pointless to try and talk the Spectre out of his form, either way he made his way into the bar, heading straight over to claim a free table. He'd no sooner sat down than Trainis had lept from his shoulder and started yipping at him.
Go, get drinks, two, one for you and one for her's. Go, go.
With apparently little choice in the matter, Leon stood back up and moved to the bar, grumbling a little to himself. He could have been doing more important things tonight but instead he'd have to be here listening to Trainis twitter on all night. At least it kept the Spectre out of trouble for the most part.

" I see well this is the city to freelance in. Too many weird things go on..." The rat frowned as a man strode over to the bar. Leaning closer with a clever grin the rat spoke to the newcomer.
" What can I get for you as well sir?" The man asked deviously as usual.

The changeling was now drunk and was too preoccupied with fiddling with her messy mop to noticed the man similar in her appearance but more manly then girl, that had slipped into the bar and strode straight over to a stool a few seats over where Reeny was sitting. Dark, emerald eyes kept on to her until they flicker over to the barkeeper. Tapping the bar-top three times, he called over to him, “Say ther’ barkeep. Mind giving a weary fellow over her’ a fine glass of red wine? Hm?” He pulled out his wallet from his black jacket pocket, barely opening it and took out a stack of three crisp ten dollar bills. Again he looked back over to the drunk girl who hiccuped atleast four times in a row. He giggled. Awe, how cute…to bad I have to kill her. Smirk.
Reeny’s ears perked as she heard that low but smooth voice stir up almost out of no where. No…here, not here! I can’t be him… She began to tremble slightly. That bastard…no, don’t look. Too late, her eyes of the same emerald were drawing towards him. One glance, she shut her eyes tight and tore away form him. I was him. That wretch!! That good for hic! nothing… A small growl emitted from her throat.
“’Ello, dear sweet sister of mine.” Berten greeted.
Shit.

I'm going to try and make Sora a little more active than just staring and eavesdropping on all of you. I hope you don't mind me jumping in, Robin? x3
----------+----------
Sora heard yet another customer come in through the bar door, actually, make that three. The young Were glanced over her shoulder for the nth time to check out who else would be joining the growing count of people—creatures in the bar. All three were men. Her brown eyes looked around the bar to count how many women were actually there. ‘1…2…3…4…5…6 including myself,’ she counted, eyes darting around the room as she did so. Needless to say, she realized how small the female population was in the bar.
All three made their way to the bar, asking for drinks and whatnot. Sora felt a twinge of pity for Comrade, but then she supposed he had had busier nights than this. Three orders would probably be simple enough for the bartender.
Brown eyes flicked towards the direction where the drunken female was. ‘Was that a growl I just heard from over there?’ Sora wondered. Her focus had strayed from eavesdropping in the southern leaders’ conversations as her attention was drawn to the commotion at the bar. The Were Wolverine observed the drunken female and the new male, who seemed to be her brother by the way he spoke, quietly from her seat at the bar.
She felt her muscles in her shoulders and arms bunch up involuntarily. Ever observant orbs narrowed slightly as she watched the drunken female carefully, switching from her to her brother. It was clear to Sora that the woman wasn’t all to pleased to be graced with her brother’s appearance and Sora, for one, wasn’t about to let a man, be related or not, beat up on a drunken woman. The eighteen-year-old waited silently, watching the scene between the two siblings.

ooc//: Nah, thats quite alright, Sora. ^^
bic//: "What are you doing here Berten?" Reeny mumbled over to Berten who was a wait patiently for the bartender to attend to him. She did her best to avoid eye with her brother because that would cause her yern more for his blood to spill at the very spot he sat but she could not do that here; there were to many innocent lives and witnesses here. But as seconds ticked by like a time bomb she was beginning to care less and less of it. The angered changeling a waited for an answer.
“Simply her’ for a drink…what else were you thinking dear?” Berten grin wide. He knew very well that she wanted to attack him at this very moment, although, he appeared not in the mood for a fight but he would provoke her anyhow.
“I heard about Allyen a few hours ago…” he began. “Wha’ a tragedy…I miss him already.” He narrowed his eyes upon her. This would defiantly tick her off. “Ah well. One less to worry ‘bout, he wasn’t much of a favorite to Father anyhow.”
Reeny’s anger was already starting to boil to the brim, “Never…never speak that way about Allyen. Never!!” She grabbed the shot glass she was using and threw it at him. Berten of course, dodged it, and it shattered on the wall it was heading for.
Berten didn’t have much to say about that, he only turned back to the rat and said, “I’ll pay for the damages kindly.”
Where did he get all this money? Crisp, no wrinkles.

"Weird is my speciality" muttered the disguised figure at Comrade's back. He took another deep sniff of the whiskey before setting it down on the bar top and carefully removing his black leather gloves. From a distance the bones beneath could be mistaken for a pair of particularly pale spidery hands and they were the part of his physiology that Skulduggery felt most comfortable uncovering.
He picked up his whiskey again in one hand, the bones clinking against the glass and carefully removed the sunglasses so as to get a better view of the room as he spun on his stool to get a better view of the occupants of the bar. The wide brimmed hat served to hide the fact that where his eyes should be were just two empty sockets.
He glanced sideways along the bar at the man and woman who appeared to be having some form of sibling dispute and if his grin could have got any bigger it would as the shot glass left the woman's hand and sailed over the man's shoulder. People were a lot more emotional than he was used to in England.
He kept his head turning looking around the bar at the people sitting in the booths and at the tables and finally at the blonde woman sitting along the bar in the other direction who appeared to be doing the exact same thing as he was.

“ Somebody better. I don’t care for damages unless the drinker drinks enough to cover it.” He remarked to the brother holding out his hand for the expected cash. Though Comrade would all the same suggest to the guy to leave after he received his fare. It seemed to agitated the female all the more and the last thing he wanted as a bar fight tonight. If there would be he would do his usual shape shifting trick and kick ass as the were he was. It was always good for scaring people into behaving at least. Especially those who were still vulnerable to the were virus since not many really wanted to be infected by a rat of all things. No, at least the wolves were on the top of the food chain, him. He was just a vile creature of nightmares on both fronts. With a twitch of his nose he noted his tail finally had vanished. Though the rat instincts were strong as ever.

Ooc: Lalala, lets stick my screen namesake in here, for lack of a better thing to do. He's been sitting around getting dusty for too long anyway.
Aerynn paused momentarily outside the bar to shake off some of the rain that had beaded on the shoulders of his jacket and to make sure the beanie he had on sufficiently covered the ink black feathers that covered his head instead of hair.
Satisfied that his plumage was concealed he pushed open the door and stepped into the welcoming warmth of Comrade's bar. Looking around he saw quite a few faces he'd never seen before and his natural changeling/corvid curiosity perked up.
He strolled over to the bar and took a seat between a man in a hat and a rather attractive blonde woman, both of which appeared to be looking for someone further out in the bar. He fished a few crumpled dollar bills out of the inner pocket of the jacket, his hand brushing past the rough fabric of the holster that Dresden had given him as a slightly less conspicuous substitute for the SPAS. He raised his hand to get Comrade's attention.
"Hey Comrade, could I have a beer?"

“ Yeah sure. Haven’t seen you about.” Comrade replied once again balancing everything as if it was a insane ballet routine. With a sweep of his nimble hands the man slid the drink to it’s new owner in utter curiosity.
“ Where’s the other guy your always hanging with? “ He questioned him as usual. Finding tidbits about the joint while working.

Telckla sensed the pair of eye on her and casually flicked her sight over to the masked man. Certainly an odd one, a witch steeped in death, almost too much so, but not from around here that was for sure. She shifts around a little but keeps her eyes on the guy long enough for him to notice her looking. He might well be interesting enough to kill time until she needed to return this meat sack to her bed. At the very least he might make a more challenging snack if she gets bored and hungry.
-----
"Oh yes...two...erm...what was it again?" Leonous turned to look back at the table where Trainis flicked his tail.
Two vodka and cokes, one with lemon one without, you don't like lemon remember.
"I know that..." He muttered before turning back to the rat. "Two vodka and cokes, one with lemon." He repeats, tapping his foot a little as he stands at the bar. This was great and all but it was so crowded and there were some odd things around tonight. Bringing a human here never sat right with him but the pair of Spectres insisted on meeting here, where they had both been heading when they first met. Those things were far too sentimental.
It's familiar, I like it, you like it, Iaria likes it and her's likes it. We all like it.
"And too good at hearing things." He muttered again.

Comrade smirked as his eyes fell upon the guy once more.
“ Here ya go.” He replied as he mixed the drinks and handed it over. He never had much to say about a changeling being there if they had the money and the sanity to not act up.
“ You might want to be careful about here tonight. It’s getting close to the full moon and some of the recent feral’s get antsy.” He warned him as he balanced and juggled everything with skill. Knowing he was a changeling and could care for himself though all the same.. uneeded fights were not his thing if he could warn people not to act up ahead of time.

"Oh, Dresden is off on a commission. The client is being particularly discreet, wanted to reduce the number of people who'd be able to ID him if it came to it. And I've been having a few issues lately, had to stay out of the general populace for a while."
Aerynn picked up the cool glass and took a gulp before setting it down back onto the ring of moisture it had left on the bar top. He could still feel the ache in the back of his head that was caused by having to always concentrate on keeping the symptoms of his spirit connection under control. If he relaxed that control for a second he could feel the feathers sprouting from his back as his wings tried to regrow. All this self control had been giving him a headache, hence the visit to the bar.
------------------------------------
Skulduggery, noticing as he looked at the woman that her eyes were also on him nodded his head imperceptibly in her direction. Something about the woman wasn't quite human, there was a slightly odd glint in her eye that poked at that instinctive part of Skulduggery's mind that told him somebody wasn't exactly what they seemed to be. He wasn't sure what it was yet that was strange about her, but he was definitely curious.
Seeing nothing else of immediate interest he stood and picked up his drink, walking down the bar and taking a seat on the other side of the woman. Skulduggery set down the untouched whiskey and smoothed the front of his jacket before turning to the woman.
"Good evening. I couldn't help but notice that you were looking at me and I was curious, so here I am talking to you. My name's Skulduggery."
It wasn't the best start to a conversation but it would do.

"umm thanks eponine " faolan just stared at the tail before looking over her and sighed while shaking his head. He always thought he'd end up with a good girl but he also knew that would be boring. He never thought he'd be dating someone like eponine. He then grinned at her. She atleast kept things interesting and he adores her.
"looks like you got into another cat fight. so how badly are you hurt now?" he asked with an arched eyebrow.
Sca-chan sighed and shook her head. She took a once over on eponine and knew she wasn't hurt badly which was good. she then looked at marius.
"I don't know. But I believe we'll be just fine. the animals we are, we've very intelligent both animal and human wise. We know our area . THat will give us the best advantage. I'm not to worried about the hunters. The four of us together will be able to out smart any of them who dare try to capture us." she placed her hand on top of marius. they may not have been the smile animal the four of them, but they were a pack. three felines and one canine. but they were family and would do anything to keep the others safe.

Reeny ignored the barkeep and contiuned to keep an angry eye on Berten whom was placing the money in the rats hand. He turned back to his growling sister with a smile and slipped his wallet back into his jacket pocket. "Come now, dear sister. I'm just 'ere for a quick glass and I'll be on my way."
I think not...he wouldn't even be able to step foot out of this place when I'm through with him! She was this close of launch her self off the barstool and attacking his ass on the spot but something was holding her back. Although she was fighting against it. "You will pay..." another growl rumbled from deep within her throat. His blood is what she wanted and nothing else at the moment.

Eponine sat down with a bit of a grace.
“ What? That guy deserved it he tried to attack me!” She pouted as she crossed her arms. Looking like a child just scolded for drawing on the wall.
Marius simply rolled his eyes as a hand searched through locks of brown for some sanity here.
“ You may be right Sca, but then again you may be wrong. I loose myself a little more in my instincts at times remember? I can’t rely solely on the tiger to stay safe.” He spoke as he turned to look to her with saddened eyes.
“ I just don’t want any of us to die or worse…. I can’t help but worry in times like this. This was though a growl hit the were leaders sensitive ears. For a growl was never something to take lightly or so the tiger in him thought. That was when golden eyes flitted upon a woman, growling at some man who had a similar scent to her though different at the same time. Siblings perhaps?
“ I wouldn’t provoke a growling female man. Your just asking for it.” Marius spoke up, trying to deter any brawl that could come of this for Comrade’s sake should the rat shift and start threatening people with that bite of his. He was starting to enjoy the peace a bit too much to have it disturbed in this matter.
---------
“ Very interesting indeed.” Comrade responded to the raven. His eyes of grayish blue taking in the scenes about him. The growl that floated in the air caught his attention. His human ear twitched only slightly at this as he eyed the owner of that growl. He just prayed another fight did not start tonight. Or else he would have to intervene.

Berten heard the man’s remark but didn’t respond. Where did he come off telling him what not to do? That was the sort of thing that ticked him off but he wasn’t here for him, he was here for her. Perhaps he could slaughter him after he dealt with Reeny, just to keep the fun up afterwards. First it was Mother, then other random victims, next was going to be little Allyen but he already had done the job for him and that certainly wasn’t fun at all, then it was dear sweet Raven. He wanted her death to extreme slow and painful…just as Mothers was. He never had it in for Father. He was the one he looked up too. Berten was his pride and joy. The heir to everything.
Reeny and Allyen was nothing to Father, though, he kept his albino son alive to spawn for the Aristotle line but now it seems that the family was going to whither away to nothing. Allyen is dead now, Berten on the brink of possible death and so was Reeny. Father’s main error was gulping down all his new borns that didn’t appear good enough to be an Aristotle then it was the murder of his wife. Boy, was that a messed up family.
Reeny also heard him speak to Berten, which made her take her eyes off of her brother and stare down at the bar top.
“It would be best if you kept out of this.” She said, calm as possible. At the moment she wanted to leave the place to keep her sanity intact but both her and her brother knew that was unlikely.

"how badly are you hurt kitten?" faolan asked while looking her over, running his hands over her body to take note of any injury. He knew she wouldn't start a fight, well that didn't mean she wouldn't go looking for one. He sighed softly as he looked into her eyes.
"you really are alitle helion kitten" he used a nickname he knew annoyed her at times. He could tell she was alright because she was acting like a child. He drew her into his arms and kissed eponine's forehead. " try and stay out of trouble"
"marius, we're all going to be together like always. Even if we do split up, each of us knows how to take care of ourselves." she took his hands into hers and looked into his eyes.
"plus you know if we're all together we're relying on one another not just our human self or our animal self. " she leaned in a pressed a light kiss to his cheek. " we'll be fine. " she spoke with such sureness in her voice. she had faith in her family.

Lukias reached upwards to rub at the back of his neck, frowning, slightly, as he eyed the door to the place. It was as much uneasiness as he was willing to let slip-Conciously, at least- But the hairs on the back of his neck had been prickling avidly for the past few minutes. He felt them standing to attention under his fingertips as he turned a questioning gaze to the man he'd been so obediantly following. Where the heck was he taking him? Thinking back to what he'd said earlier, about keeping thugs off of him, he wrinkled his nose, just in the slightest. If thugs were going to be anywhere...
"..I'm half-expecting something with six heads to jump out at me.." he said, with a half-hearted attempt at a playful tone, uneasy from his surroundings but also from lingering embarassment. Kane's earlier laughter had reassured him some, but still... And if the other started thinking that he was afraid to be here, it definitely wouldn't help him any, he thought. So he let his hand fall back to his side, though his continuing unease was still quite apparent. While he wasn't particularly regretting coming with him-Yet- from the looks of it, this guy definitely had low standards.

Marius threw up taloned hands at this in defense.
“ Okay, okay, whatever you say little lady.” He commented as he turned his attention back upon Scathach. Looking to her eyes before stroking her arm and hand.
“ Okay okay, but you know me. I have to worry to keep my sanity.” He grinned as a random waitress came over to remove the tail from the table since it wasn’t sanitary. It was nearing the annual health inspection and well. Couldn’t have things like that about.
------
Eponine frowned a bit as her little boy.
“ Hn, definitely my -pup-py-” She announced as she tapped his nose back with every syllable. Eyes of gold smirking as they locked upon her courtier. She hopped off his lap and made her way to the seat by him with a look about the place.
“ New faces I see, this is going to be a fun night. I can feel it in my bones.” She cooed to her love as she looked about once more with feline like curiosity.
--------
Comrade’s eyes turned to the door slowly, the strange scent of … unknown human hitting his tender nose. This wasn’t good he thought to himself as he also noticed Kane’s scent coming from outside. With a flick of his wrist he tapped a button under the bar that released a torrent of movements upon the walls, things sliding about to hide the paranormal paraphernalia he had been advertising. The whole scene almost like something out of a James Bond movie for the rat was always well prepared in many ways.
“ Human alert! Act -NORMAL- or hide if you can‘t!” He growled suddenly in a very agitated state. This was either a witch raid and Kane was leading them to them or worse. Some stupid idiot that Kane got a hold of. Kane was Lucifer’s lackey but he was also self serving at least to many that did not know him such as his master did. No… very few trusted the Vampire accept for Lucifer himself for he had seen the good side of Kane. The good side the hard man kept deep.
---------
“ I wouldn’t doubt it here.” Kane muttered to himself with a pleased smile. Letting the young man in he held the door open for him with a almost gentlemen type bow.
“ Welcome to the Cheshire Cat, as you see the sign reads… where all Madd here.” He laughed a bit as he strode in as if he owned the place. Ignoring the eyes of Marius, Eponine, as well as Comrade and a few random patrons. Looking to see what the jackass vampire was up to now, disturbing their peace and making them pretend to be human once more. This was their relaxing spot! Why did he have to ruin it. The only saving grace would be if this human new of them but knowing Kane this wasn’t the case. He was here to start trouble as always.
“ Hey guys miss me?” He grinned as he moved to the bar with almost a dance. Leading the albino and ignoring the ghost that followed them. He made a move to Comrade who was starring daggers into his eyes.
“ Think you can mix up a drink for my friend here Commy? What would you like Lukias? Rum? Vodka? Uh… what other types of drinks are there…” Valken had to actually think hard on this for it had been centuries since he last consumed alcohol. Though if he drank from the boy this night he would feel the nectar upon his lips as it entered the boy’s system, which made it all the better for him the more drunk he got. If he got drunk at all that is since his plans never quite work out the way he wanted them too.

Ah well, now Reeny had a good reason to leave; a human was entering the pub. With her being drunk and not excepting Allyen being dead she was sure to lose it at any minute. More then just Berten’s blood was probably going to cover the place. No, she had to keep it together. She kept telling herself that over and over again. Well, at least the hic-ups stop but this ache in her head was no help at all. She was stuck now but she wasn’t going to give in…yet. Wait. Something seemed to smack her in the face causing her to freeze with a shocked look on her face. Goosebumps ran up and down her body. Allyen? She was feeling Allyen. Or was it getting to her head?
Berten was feeling it also and he wasn’t quite drunk yet, but he ignored it and took a sip of his wine. He noticed the look on her face, shocked and pale, and he smirked. Then he laughed, “Wha’ is it, Reeny?”
She did not say a word. ___________
She was there, Raven was there, in that pub! Berten…they were both there and he had to go in. In a instant Allyen rushed past Kane and Kukias sending a swifted cold breeze through the door entrance and into the pub. As he entered he paused feets way from his drunk sister and sinister brother whom was ready to kill at any moment, ignoring Comrades word about keeping it low because of the human.

Again, he could feel the fine, pale hairs on the slope of his neck stand on end, and he shivered, very, very slightly, obeying the impulse that told him not to look around, keeping his pale gaze fixed securely to his guide, despite the nagging of his curiosity. A break for any of the patrons that might not've jumped quite fast enough, but hell if he knew that. In fact, he was thinking that he was being stupid again, like the chill he'd felt back at the church, maybe because he hadn't gotten enough sleep, or something. But even as he thought it, he didn't quite believe it any more... Nonetheless, he just stuck to Kane's side like glue, maybe a little bit more closely than he intended, sparing no more than an inch between them. He cast a breif glance in Comrade's direction, but found himself looking away again almost before he knew it as he caught the look on the grey haired man's face. What was that about..Surely Kane realized what an awful look he was getting..
"..Pick something for me?" he asked his 'companion', after a second or two, sparing the blonde any more thought, and himself a choice in the process. He couldn't say he really drank all that much, and wouldn't be particularly surprised if Kane continued the list and he found himself ceasing to recognize things. He took a breath, looked like he might've been about to say something more, but stopped short, hunching his shoulders at the sudden cold. As it past, he cast a small frown at the doorway, but, seeing no giant snowman ready to admit stalking him, let out a short little sigh. He felt just a little bit like he might be going crazy, and decided that a drink would be very good for him.

Kane cursed himself a bit at this. Trying to remember a good starting drink for the human. Drink… drink… he looked about spotting something he recognized.
“ A cherry rum then, if that’s okay.” Kane smirked a bit as Comrade rolled his eyes. The were turned, looking as human as possible slowly mixed the drinks. He felt as if he was stuck in molasses as he moved at normal human speed.
“Kane, remind me to tell Lucifer later about your recent … ideas.” He spoke as he put the drink on the bar. Smiling simply to the young human man. Keeping up the guise as if he was out in the streets.
“ This boys a bit of a puck if you catch my drift. You shouldn’t be hanging about him.” Comrade warned the human as Kane shot him a look.
“ You just hate the fact that I can have anyone I want, unlike you, you little rat fink.” Kane dared with that fanged smile of his. Comrade bit his lip a bit. He couldn’t pull his usual tidings about here. Not with the human.
“ He just wants to be a big shot.” Comrade spoke back, the young man with strange grey hair looked to the blonde vamp once more. Kane only looking away innocently as he pretended not to hear him. In fact Kane acted the way he did for attention, everyone always pushing him away. Though no one knew this but maybe just maybe Kane himself.
“ Comrade here is what some here would call a … rat. If you need information on anyone or anything he can tell you. Even down to where I am if he wanted to.” The blonde haired man grinned as honey like eyes returned to the were. Comrade sighed a bit.
“ Yeah… that much is true.” He spoke as he shook his head and went back to his tending as usual.
