Blinking rapidly down at their hands, Lukias felt a little flash of heat return to his face. Kane was probably doing it on purpose, he thought, wrinkling his nose. But he allowed himself to be lead to the door without complaint. Even if the other man was just trying to fluster him further, he didn't mind it. In fact, touching someone was comforting, now that he wasn't having sickening visions of his hand being ripped off. Whether or not he'd still think that after the night had had a chance to sink in some, he had no idea. He was going to keep trusting Kane, though, he thought. He'd already decided that. No changing his mind.
Whatever new darkening of his blush Kane had inspired was swiftly wiped away by Comrade's showing up- He didn't register anything of appearance at first, only knew that there was someone standing where he had not expected anyone to be, and all of the color drained out of his face, heart taking up a stacatto rythm once more. He calmed considerably once he realized it was a somewhat-familiar face, and one that, as far as he knew, wasn't interested in breaking anyone, but he still held to Kane tightly, stepping toward him a bit, pulling their hands thoughtlessly back behind them, out of sight.
His eyes widened slightly as the grey-haired man turned his attention on him, and he nodded, once, swiftly. No threats, he whined, mentally, cringing very slightly. Kane had told him that, now this guy was saying it..He wouldn't wouldn't wouldn't. Just leave the human alone now, please, he thought. He might just piss himself yet. But he was a little startled by the were telling him he could come back. He nodded again, much more sedately, trying to will away the numb feeling that new shock had pushed downwards into his legs, and only then noticed the tail. So.. He blinked. Well, that would explain why Kane had called him a rat so insistantly..

Comrade looked behind him trying to figure out what the guy was starreing at only to roll his eyes as he saw his own tail.
“ Yeah I’m a rat in more ways then one. First person to make a cheese joke gets it.” He grumbled before going back outfront to check on customers, then to check on the girl who had gotten knocked out.
----------------
Kane sighed in relief as the man walked away. Though his pocket was a bit lighter now it was a hazard of coming here. He found his hand suddenly hidden behind his back, probably from when Comrade came upon the scene he pulled the man out the back door and turned. Giving the light skin hand a gentle suave kiss.
“ Now back to the topic at hand. Where do you live? I could walk you home unless you would rather see some more interesting sites? I won’t take you inside this time unless you desire to go in. But I can point out the places to stay away from or at least be cautious of those that stroll in and out of it’s door. Though I could also just as easily save the tour…. And I can learn a little more about yourself since I am allowing my own personage to be a open book to you monsieur.” He told the man slipping into a old time French accent at the last of his words. Playing the part that he had once lived, seeing if the man liked the accent or what else he needed to do to see him fluster constantly like the light’s upon the street’s. As he straightened back up he grinned as he looked cautiously around. Everything was clear tonight as far as the beasts of the night went. The skies slowly clearing once more from the earlier rain though everything was still a tad damp.

Flush returning with a vengeance, Lukias took as subtle a deep breath as he could manage, hoping that maybe, out here, the violet splash of red across his cheekbones wouldn't be so evident. Of course he wasn't realizing that Kane could more likely than not see as well in the lesser lighting as he could inside the building..But at least he would feel better, thinking he couldn't. His hand tingled where the vampire's lips had brushed, and he considered trying to reclaim it before anything else happened. But of course he didn't- Flustering or not, the feel of the blonde's palm against his own was something he was enjoying thoroughly.
He frowned very slightly, looking like he was thinking carefully about the options. Apparently, life was going on, despite how he'd felt earlier..Morning, though, still seemed an impossible goal..Kane's abrubpt change in accent garnering his full attention, he blinked, brows arching. He WAS doing it on purpose, wasn't he!? Jackass, he thought, and frowned slightly, arching a brow at the vampire as though he'd just done something exceedingly strange and stupid. Proud of how easily the expression came off, he eyed Kane for just a second, then the look slipped away and he shifted his thoughts back to the matter on hand, doing his best to ignore the heat still raging across his face.
"I don't really want to go sit at home by myself.." he said, brow furrowing a bit at the thought. No need to give himself a chance to start worrying again before he had to. It would be better to stay distracted. "I don't..Particularly want to see anything freakish, either, though," he said uneasily, giving the other male a sheepish little smile, reassuring himself that there was no way Kane could think he was being a wimp.. Hopefully..

“ Damn well there goes half my ideas.” Kane thought a bit on this. Since everyone he knew was a freak in more ways then just one.
“ I would say my place maybe to have some fun but that’s always hell in a hand basket. Especially since my master’s friend has a just turned fledgling in the estate. Idiot friend of his challenged me cause of her. I had half a mind to start shit if it wasn’t for the fact Lucifer would of killed me.” He told him, even though he probably didn’t have one clue about what he was saying. It was good to talk to someone for once about things. Everyone saw him as a punching bag and forgot he too was a person with feelings. He May have been a jackass, but even jackasses can have feelings harmed.
“God this is harder then I thought…. If we head for the Moonstone the Northern Were pack has been hanging about. The witch coven is over at the one church area so that is off limits since I don’t feel like committing suicide tonight, Lothairs place is just opening a whole bag of worms since all that cursed shit going on…” He muttered to himself. God he was useless on things like this. What to do, what to do….
“ Hey do you want to know about where things are in the city? Do you have any need to find certain places? I can do that at least? I mean some of the places have some weird shit but well…. Um…. That’s all I can come up with.” He sighed at last, before a ever blissful idea crossed his tiny brain.
“ Wait… you don’t know how to handle weapons right? I can take you to my training area near the docks. I can teach you how to protect yourself if it gives you a piece of mind?” He offered the young man. Not knowing what else there was in this city that didn’t deal with freaks of course.

Friend-fledgling-esate-shit-Lucifer-what? Lukias blinked at the other male, wondering if he realized that what he'd just said made absolutely no sense. It seemed like whenever the word 'master' came out of Kane's mouth, things started hitting especially low on the coherency scale. Maybe, sometime in the future, he'd ask him to elaborate, he thought. At least he apparently hadn't been taking that in the direction the albino had initially thought he was. He glanced down the street as an excuse to look away, just for a second. He'd been expecting more jackass-flavored banter as soon as he'd heard 'my place'...Well. That didn't matter.
What he said next didn't make a remarkable amount of sense either, and Lukias let out a soft, helpless little sigh. Was he getting so confused because he just wasn't very well-versed in the paranormal yet? Or did the vampire really make that little sense? Maybe..He'd just go..Sit down or something, until Kane started speaking english again..
And, well, he did need to know where some of the more plain necessities of this place were. But he couldn't really see the blonde showing him around grocery stores.. Grocery stores had his mind shifting for just a second to food, and got him wondering, in an idle sort of way, if Kane ate, or if he was just limited to blood. He might've asked, but found the task of answering foremost. He tilted his head, very slightly.
..Nothing peaceful? He forced back his dissapointment before it could have a chance to show itself in his expression. He doubted he'd ever be able to do much in his defense, but it might make him feel a little better..Plus..Kane had sounded like he'd really been taxing himself to come up with something...He didn't have the heart to shoot him down. "Alright," he agreed, finally. "It works."

Okay! At least the guy agreed to this since this was the simplest thing Kane could think up. Tugging him a bit he turned away from the bar. Heading west towards the docks. Making it around the back allies of the city as if they were main streets to him. Travel was always best for a vampire in the back allies when searching out trouble. Taking a sharp right left them out in the warehouse district that had been almost utterelied destroyed a few weeks back by a rampaging dragon. “ At least maybe I can offer you a little something for your time now… since I don’t have anything I can offer not of the darkness at the current moment.” He announced as he stopped in front one of the many bay front warehouses. His favorite spot to come and think besides the city churches. “ Come on, follow me in.” He chimed as he used a key to open up the old rustic door. (( I’ll start another post in the Cheshire City Bay area. ))

It took about several moments until Reeny was aroused by the smelling salts, taking it in quickly but a first only was slow coming to. Just before to was full awake she was mumbling threats and what not and what she was going to to Berten when she had gotten a hold of him, although right now, all she had to worry about is her shoulder. How much damage did it take? When fully aroused, she instantly sat up shouting her brother’s name then patting soon after. Realizing he was not in the room, she lowered her head and tried to hold back and tears. Suddenly it hit her; a pain was shot through her shouldered. She closed her eyes and let out few big breaths. It didn’t take her long to realize the girl who was at her side with the smelling salts.
“Who are you?” she looked around. “And where am I? Wasn’t I just at the pub?”
A few questions prodded at her throbbing head of hers, making it seem worse, but she tried not to worry much about them. Again she clenched her shoulder to try prevent any further bleeding as another question came to her, “Where did Berten go?” she had forgotten almost everything after being forced backwards in her chair but only remember the insane, corrupted face of his. “…My brother, is he still at the pub?”
Strange questioned to ask, though she was still at little drunk. Like the rat had said; she better start sobering up before closing time. She figured now was the best time.

Sora kept the smelling salts near the woman’s nose despite hearing her mumble, afraid that if she pulled away, the woman might not actually wake up all the way. The Were Wolverine jerked back her extended arm when the other shot up and yelled. Brown eyes watched the woman for a moment, as if to see if she was okay, before moving to put the smelling salts where she had found it. She busied herself with finding the First Aid kit that Comrade had mentioned earlier. As she searched, she heard the woman speak up. When the other asked for her name, Sora was hesitant to give it at first. She stopped her searching and looked over towards the woman on the cot. After a moment of staring at her, she answered, “Sora Silverhart.”
The young woman resumed her search for the First Aid kit. “You’re in one of the back rooms of the bar, ma'am. Comrade told me to bring you back here when you passed out,” Sora informed her further. Finally finding the kit, Sora made her way over to the woman once more. She squatted down next to the cot and flipped up the latches to open the kit. “Berten?” Sora repeated as she shuffled through the kit to find some gauze and some kind of chemical to clean the wound that the woman had. “If you mean the man you were arguing with earlier, he bolted through the bar door just before you went unconscious,” she replied.
Finding the necessary items—or at least, she thought they were the necessary items—she stood up next to the cot. “So...,” she started, looking at the items in her hands, “Do you know what I need to do with these to fix you up? I’m not exactly a pro when it comes to things that are bigger than a Band-Aid.” Brown eyes looked to the older woman as she waited for instruction.

Comrade chose this moment to come into the back room. Carrying a tray with some coffe upon it for the once drunk woman and a simple drink of water for the other as well as some chips and bread along with a bit of dip. Mainly he brought the bread to help soak up the alcohol in the woman’s system and not everyone liked plain old bread at times. He put it down on the side table beside the two females.
“ Here, should help with the hangover and get you back on your feet sooner.” The rat spoke with a swish of the hairless tail, his ears were a bit pointed, in the method of a partial change from his temperamental flare up earlier. Even one born as a were, sometimes had problems controlling the shift.

Reeny bit her purple bottom lip, which the purple appeared to be smeared just slightly to the side, but she wouldn’t have minded much. She turned back to Sora surprised that girl had given out her full title. Well, it wouldn’t hurt for her to do it also, “Raven Aristole, call me Reeny.” She spoke with a bit of a grunt but that wasn’t towards the girl. Her shoulder was paining her by the second. She made a promise to herself not to met her brother at the bar again…being drunk and wounded wasn’t very pleasant at all. Or at least try to avoid the bar when feeling down and depressed. Oh, Allyen. Wait…if she saw Allyen?
“Sora, did you see a young boy in the bar that was albino…not the human but,” she asked not really expecting an answer. Narrowing her eyes just bit she sighted, “Just dab some that alcohol one the wound, then use the bandages.” She took off her maroon jacket carefully, avoiding contact with the wound as much as possible and placed it to the side. Underneath that was just a black tank and she wouldn’t mind the bandaged to be rapped over that. Then she realized that there was a tear near the collar and she cursed as she saw it. She shrugged at off.
When Comrade came in with something for the both of them she managed to say thank you to him. Unusual for her to say the least but she was in an ackward mood that she couldn’t explain. No matter, at least she had some coffee at the moment and it smelt good to her. She first allowed Sora to attend to her wound before reaching over to the coffee.

Sora nodded when the woman gave her name. “Hello then, Renny,” she greeted. She would have held out her hand to give a hand shake, but her hands were full at the moment. The young woman raised a brow when Raven asked about a boy. She thought for a moment before shaking her head negatively, “Ah, no. Sorry, but I didn’t see any other albino besides the human.”
At her instructions, Sora went to work. She place the gauze on the cot and went about to unscrewed the cap of the alcohol. She placed the cotton ball to the mouth of the bottle and flipped the bottle over before quickly flipping it back upright. Using her free fingers, she screwed the cap back on before going about in cleaning Raven’s shoulder wound. Brown eyes glanced over to Raven every now and then as she worked. The alcohol probably stung and Sora didn’t want to keep dabbing the wound if the other was uncomfortable.
With the cleaning finished, Sora placed the bottle and dirty cotton ball next to the kit. The Were Wolverine then returned to her bandaging work on Raven’s shoulder. As she wrapped the gauze around the shoulder, careful to keep her work neat, she heard the door of the room open. She briefly glanced over her shoulder to check who it was and found Comrade with a tray of drinks and food. “Hello, sir,” she greeted to him before returning to trying to finish her work.
Once she had finished, she put the gauze and alcohol back in the kit before placing the kit where she had originally found it. She turned back around and went to retrieve the dirty cotton ball. “Where do you want me to place this, sir?” she asked, holding up the cotton ball for emphasis. Brown eyes blinked as she took note of the rat tail that was moving behind Comrade. Was he still agitated about something? Sora waited for his instruction. She dully noticed that she had been waiting on orders a lot lately. The tray had been forgotten while she had been working on bandaging Raven’s wound.

“ The trash can’s right there.” Comrade pointed out by the counter as he looked to the two girls.
“ So I gather everyone’s alive and well?” He asked as he crouched a bit down so he was eye level with everyone. Blue gray eyes looking into each of their own for a moment before the bar keep ran a hand through his light gray locks of steel. Everyone always mistook him for a old man cause of his coloring but well he couldn’t help it he was a gray rat.
“I have Marius and Dark cleaning up the mess outside, so what the hell was that about with that man? “ He asked in a actual kind and concerned tone. He needed to remember the mans face less he should try to start shit again when they were under a code human. A bit of a sigh escaped the young man’s lips. The barkeep shaking his head a bit. If it wasn’t one thing it was another and he wondered what would be next as the worm like tail curled about his feet as he awaited a answer. Only the tip dared to move, curling and uncurling in patient thought.

Oh..god, that hurts, Reeny breathed in through her teeth as Sora applied the alcohol on to her shoulder but other then that she didn’t show much that is stung greatly. As she started wrapping the gauze around her shoulder she was beginning to feel a little better but wasn’t completely satisfied until she had gotten her coffee. Once she was done with it she carefully turned to grab a hold of the hot drink. Finally, she thought, taking a quick sip of it ignoring the fact that it could burn her tongue but it had happen thousands of time before so she was use to it. Pulling the cup from her purple lips she looked back over to the rat.
“That man…that man was my good for nothing brother.” she growled heavily, go back to her coffee. “Bah, its just a ‘sibling rivalry’ we’ve been having ever since he and Father murdered Mother. I vowed to kill him of course but…that stupid bastard wont die.” She yelled squeezing her coffee cup then she closed her eyes and sighed.
“I apologize for his actions…especially under a code human.” She let a short laugh. “If it wasn’t for the human, I probably would have gone after him myself.”

“ We can’t control the actions of others so forget about it.” Comrade spoke as he knelt down to double check the others work on bandaging. Not bad he thought silently to himself, though it was obvious she had not done this as many times as others that came here. Though she would learn with time as the rest did on how to address wounds with the skill of a surgeon.
“You can rest here a bit. If you still feel sore we can walk you home later.” Comrade informed the girl, maybe a glimmer of not being -all- about money. Just possibly caring about others just a smidge. Or it could be the fact if one died then they could no longer spend their money at his bar. Either or… Comrade was being nice.

Sora nodded in understanding before she moved to deposit the dirty little wad of blood and alcohol soaked cotton. On her way back to the pair, she heard Comrade ask a question. “I suppose, sir,” was her quiet reply. She hadn’t been all to sure if he had meant it towards the two of them or just Raven. Raven was the only one who had been hurt after all…
Brown eyes followed movement that had been made by the Were Rat’s hand. As Comrade ran it through his hair, the young woman couldn’t help but to wonder his true age. He didn’t look really old, yet he had a grayish hair color. ‘Kinda reminds me of those crazy colors animes and mangas use,’ she thought before wondering, ‘Or, maybe, it has something to do with him being a Were?’ She wasn’t an expert on Weres, so how was she supposed to know if ones hair color changed when they became one or whatnot?
Standing a little away from the pair, Sora crossed her arms over her chest. She had nothing else to do with them. Sights turned to Raven when Comrade asked the woman about her brother. They briefly darted back to the bartender when he sighed and made other movements. The Were Wolverine remained silent throughout Raven’s explanation. Even though Raven had mentioned her brother killing family members and her vowing revenge, Sora felt nothing, did nothing. The woman’s business didn’t involve her and so she wouldn’t react upon it.
The young woman watched as Comrade moved around, once more. Brown orbs watched as he looked over her work on Raven’s wounded shoulder. She couldn’t help but to worry if he thought ill of her work. As she had said before, she had never patched up anything that required more than a mere Band-Aid. Sora hoped that her job was decent? When the Were Rat said nothing, neither did she about the subject.
When the male spoke up again towards Raven, Sora nodded in agreement. ‘Where does he plan me to go in the mean time though?’ she wondered. From what he had said about letting Raven rest a bit, Sora didn’t know if he meant they’d leave her there and return to the bar of if he planned to keep on conversing with Raven. For the nth time that night, Sora waited to be instructed.

Reeny didn’t say much after Comrade had said that only nodded simply and went back to the coffee. It wasn’t the best thing in the world but she wasn’t about to complain; she still could drink it. Plus, they have been so nice to her to take of her wound she couldn’t turn on them and snap complains. It was likely for her to do so but right now she wasn’t up to it. She glanced back at Sora for a second then over to the rat.
“Alright,” she said. “I’m still sore, I guess I could stay and rest. And anyhow, Berten is still out there and it would be more likely he would attack again if I was alone.” Although she could take care of herself, he was lucky that time. He had caught her off guard and by surprise out there but if that wasn’t the case it would have been entirely different; she’d be tarring at him wildly.

“ Then you may rest, is there anything else I can get you?” Comrade asked. Playing the courteous male. He looked to Sora as out of the corner of his eye he caught her starring.
“ Is there something you want to ask?” He finally addressed her wondering what it was she was starring at. Was it something on his face he wondered curiously. Eyes of steel laying upon the other carefully. He then got up, finding a blanket brought it back for the one named Reeney in case she decided to sleep a bit in the air conditioning of the building.

Sora glanced over to Raven when she replied to the Were Rat. Upon hearing about what she had said about Berten, the young woman asked, “Do you think he would come back tonight? Even with Comrade and the others up front?” Sora thought the move would be foolish, but, then again, she didn’t know Raven’s brother. He might have something up his sleeve that could get him past the eyes up front.
Her attention was back on Comrade when he spoke once more. When he questioned her, the Were Wolverine’s body went rigid. Had he caught her staring? Deciding it better not to ask, she replied, “I was just waiting for you to tell me what to do, sir.” Brown eyes followed the Were Rat as he moved about to retrieve a blanket for Raven. Sora tried not to think about how much she had been waiting on orders lately. Since when was she so dependent on others telling her what to do? She wasn’t a robot for crying out loud!

Reeny flashed a small and quick smile over to Comrade and went back to her coffee taking a long sip. “No, thank you I’m fine for the moment..” she replied looking down in her cup of now warm coffee. Then she looked to Sora, shaking her head, “Doubt it, hun. He wouldn't come to the same place twice after causing trouble the first round.”

Comrade sighed at all of this.
“ Yeah get back to waiting tables dragon before I start loosing customers!” He barked to her before looking back to the other two girls.
“ If both of you are fine… then you may do as you please. I have drinks to mix and your welcome to return to the front as soon as you feel up to it.” He smiled kindly to the two before bowing to them and takeing his leave… yes. He had much more money to make in the front.

Dark meanwhile had finished his cleaning duty and was not busying himself with brooding in the corner. His eyes watching Zairre in the most curios fashion. Still unsure of why he was even staying here. He could leave at any time and yet the male felt as if he had to hover over the female like a brute protecting it's mate. Though that of course wasn't the case, or at least he forced himself to belive this.

Lycoris had followed the naga to the bar, unlike her companion remaining in her human form since she didn't have a handy dandy clock to keep herself hidden. On the upside she figured she'd at least gotten to pick out a couple more details on her true form. Maybe it was becasue she'd been so used to having to keep up the illusion but she wasn't too opposed to her human form, mainly just the actual stupid humans. She could always change forms when she wanted so a second form seemed like a convenience to her, though she would admit the limitations were quite painful at times. Then again it had been a while since she had had the freedom to change forms...
"Hopefully the ass remembers me, I'm not in the mood to have to remind him I'm a dragon and not some under aged girl. It would be nice if this form decided to grow a bit soon." Being short wasn't much fun when humans prided themselves so much on asking for identification and restricting things. The amount of times she'd been kicked out of fun places because she looked about half as old as she was in her human form really hadn't amused her.

As Naga went to open the door she chuckled at the women’s words.
“ My dear you will grow in time. We all age a little slower hmm?” She asked, so much more relaxed in her normal shape. As she went to the door she opened it with a clawed hand though of course finding it hard to slide through the door she shifted back into her human shape. Once more dressed like a normal woman the look of agitation was again on her face from having to stay in a shape that was not her own.
“ Hmm… what to have.” She pondered at once as she gazed upon the bar and the rat. She licked her lips a bit at the thought of rat stew though knowing Comrade would be throwing a fit.
“ Maybe I’ll just have some fried mink tonight.” She spoke happily as she made her way to one of the many stools that lines the bar with a sway of grace to her shapely thighs.
