Blaine sputtered and spat a bit more as the thing was waved in his face. This guy was enjoying it wasn’t he!! God damn ass… though instead of cursing him out he merely took it… they guy was helping him out after all.
“ Okay that wasn’t the brightest but I was awoken from a sound sleep and had no clue what was going on…. Or a human would be cool with talking to a fairy…” He spoke outloud thinking for a moment before looking up to the man. About to question him when he batted his bag down causing him to jump painfully out of the way. With a wince still from his agitated skin he bent down to pick it up.
“ Thanks.. But next time try not to hit me with it. I’m in enough pain for the moment thank you very much.” He frowned as he sighed once more.

"..Well." He said, blinking. "You weren't exactly supposed to hop around like an idiot. It wasn't going to hit you." He ran a hand through his hair, glancing once over at the handkerchief he'd discarded. He was half-expecting it to burst into flames or something..But as it was, he couldn't see it doing anything other than sitting there and, if a hanky could look forlorn, doing just that. "And besides, whose fault is it that you're in pain?" he asked, sounding just as unsympathetic as he had earlier. In truth, he did feel kind of bad for him..But it was still his own fault.
"..And I meant what I said about owing me a handkerchief," he added after a moment's thought, considering sparing the effort to correct the fae's 'human' remark, but in the end not really caring enough to do so.

“ You got to be kidding me… god. Fine, I’ll get you another one…. Though your going to have to wait till I feel better. Not like I am going to be able to do much shopping till I sooth these blisters down.” He complained as he looked through his bag. Of course a first aid kit was not among the objects of chains, leather, fishnet and other things inside of it. Stuffing back a pair of leather handcuffs the fae smiled innocently.
“ You don’t think you would be kind enough….. To let a fae use your sink… and change?” He grinned innocently. Playing the part of poor helpless little creature.
“Perhaps have a little soothing gel for the skin? I’ll repay you handsomely. I have contacts you know…. And a steady flow of cash.” He smiled, though this ‘flow of cash’ meant a night of pick pocketing… which he really saw nothing wrong in since his own parents had taught him this trade. Green and gold eyes looked up pleadingly like a lost little puppy to the guy. Come on…. Fall for the innocent creature act….

Edmund stared down at him, a flat, unamused scowl taking up residence across his features. ..Dammit. He knew the stupid little fae had him. Not necessarily because of his puppy act. That, in fact, was one of things that made knowing he was going to say 'yes' sting worse. But rather, because of his being hurt. If he wasn't, the man would probably find himself sorely tempted to kick him. But as it was..Well. The least he could do was make the little bitch think he was going to refuse.
So he stared down at him..Frowned..Tried to dredge up enough dislike to get himself to say 'no' after all. Oh, there was a lot of dislike..Just not quite enough. Finally, he rolled his eyes and threw up his hands. "Fine! Fine," he cried. "But you had better do a lot of thanking, and it had better damn well sound sincere." He sounded as put out as though he truly didn't have any choice in the matter. And that wasn't going to change any time soon. "Irritating little bitch.." he muttered, as easily as though Blaine couldn't hear.
Glancing to the hotel building, then back down to the fae, he sighed and went on. "So, do you want to go into the same building as your best friend?" he asked, referring, of course sarcastically, to the demon. "Because my house is..A litte way's walk from here." A pause, and a stern look. "And I am not carrying you." That one could've been just for show, or honest. He wasn't really sure himself.

“ Oh of course, tons of thanks sir.” Blaine grinned with a bow to the man as he pointed out the hotel not far off.
“…. your place…. Sounds safer….” He spoke up though noting that he would not carry him.
“ Aw come on, I make a great shoulder pet. I could hide behind your hair.” He grinned a bit too happily.
“ These blisters make it impossible for me to flap my wings… I’m not supposed to be traveling around in plain sight and it would take me almost sixty steps to your one I would have to run the whole way in public view.” He told him. Once more pouting a bit as he looked down to the ground like a scolded child.
“ I suppose…. I could always try… perhaps run a chance of getting squished….” He told him, hoping he could get a little bit of his own way in the least somehow with this man.

Edmund clenched his teeth as he stared down at the fae, and the continuing, deathly scowl on his face made it perfectly apparent just how he felt about this new aquaintance at the moment. But he knew what he said was true. Even if he didn't give a crap about the fae himself, it wasn't like he could allow him to run along in plain sight. And he just sounded so..So fucking happy with the whole ordeal.. At least when he wasn't pouting. And he coudln't really decide which was worse. He did know that he was wishing he was a worse person right about then. Because then, at least, he could just walk off without him.
"..I should stuff you right back into the trash bin, you know that?" he hissed, and he sounded like he meant it. He was trying very, very hard to sound like he meant it. And the pause that suggested he might be about to do just that was just for Blaine, just so, maybe, it would scare him a little. "I don't have to help you." And he didn't, really.
..But apparently, he was choosing to-That thought made him want to break something- because he finally crouched down again and held out his hand, palm-up, positively fuming and untirely unable to make himself say a single coherent word.

“ You wouldn’t be the first my friend.” He smirked a bit amidst the pain as he climbed up onto the man’s hand. Settling down as to not fall off till he was secure upon his shoulder. He knew the guy didn’t have to help him, but by his nature he couldn’t show that he was overly joyful for the man’s kindness.
“ I am …. Thankful….. For your help…..though..” He spoke as if it was the hardest words for him to ever say in his little life.
“ By the way… what do you go by, other then human?” He asked as he held onto his bag tightly. Wincing slightly in the pain that he was slowly becoming used to….

Standing up, trying to keep his palm level so he didn't dump the fae back onto the ground(Although he was still wishing he could make himself do so), he grunted at the apparently difficult thanks. Just as it wasn't Blaine's nature to do the apologizing, it wasn't Edmund's to accept it graciously, either, though the differences remained that not only were Edmund's issues his problem, rather than a species thing, but also that he wasn't trying in the slightest. This was reinforced tenfold as he glanced down at his pocket, and muttered an irritable, "Your blisters would probably ooze if I just stuffed you into my pocket, wouldn't they?" So he lifted his hand up to his shoulder, holding it there, giving the fae a chance to climb from his palm. The hairs on the back of his neck stood on end. He hated people touching his shoulders..
"Edmund," he answered after a moment. "And I swear if you try to shorten it to 'Ed' I will personally rip your wings off and leave you here."

“ Fine.” Blaine responded as he climbed on his shoulder and behind his head a bit. Hiding among his hair he used a glamour to appear invisible for the moment to most mortals. He felt self conscious as the man though spoke of the blisters oozing… He felt like a diseased leper right about then, well more then usual at least.
“Edmund, lets get moving out. The quicker I can find a way to get rid of these painful things the better.” He commented as he kept his wings close to his form. God why did he have to piss off that thing earlier anyway…. Oh yeah that’s right. He was a fae. It was sort of his unspoken duty to piss things off.

The man wrinkled his nose as the fae settled himself on his shoulder, resisting the impulse to shrug him off. Right at that moment, he really couldn't think of much that was more uncomfortable than having a tiny person riding on him.. It trashed his personal space in a whole new way. He wondered how he had gone from trying to sleep to getting involved in this garbage..
"Don't fall," he told him as he set off, with the sort of tone that suggested he might just find it funny if he did. Whether he'd actually let him fall or not..Well..That wasn't something Blaine needed to know for sure, was it? Though if things kept on like this, he was sure he would never be able to get this stupid fae to believe a bluff again..

As the man with the fae concealed on his shoulder walked off down the road a dark skinned figure stepped out of the doorway of the hotel and set off in the same direction. They strolled nonchalantly along far enough behind the pair to keep out of sight and ear shot. Feng wanted to know where the seemingly ordinary man lived and following them seemed the easiest way to find out. As he walked he reached into a pocket and pulled out a battered black zippo and a pack of cigarettes, lighting one and smoking it as he followed them through the city.
