Welcome to Cheshire City my friend, the place that never sleeps and whom residents all hold a secret. Don’t be scared though. They mean no harm, or in the least most of them do not. You see, during the day the humans live here. Going about their everyday lives, not knowing what lurks just inches from their precious light. Hiding in the shadows and biding their time till the sun falls deep and the moon rises high. Then, then it is their time to rule. To lurk and take their payment for being imprisoned here in this hell. You see, the city draws many of the darkness to it’s fold. No one knows why, but well, some say it is because this city is truly the hell of old. Others say it is heaven, though these folk may be as madd as I am you see.
All the same, there is always something going on here, always a tale to tell. City life never stops you see, and it all links together like the chains of slavery. Each link, connecting both beginning to end in orderly fashion, just as each resident is somehow involved in the next city dwellers life. If they know of it or not, their all connected in their insanity, their misery, their life. So come on in, find a place to call home, and enter the city. If you dare.
plot

The red headed hunter of legend smirked as he had found his way to the main control room of the old coven site that had been turned into a makeshift domain. He felt like a kid in a candy shop as he closed doors, and manipulated various areas. Poison seeped into the prison areas, killing whatever dark creatures laid within. He would ask the head of the Lothair family in Spyre to send out a clean up crew for that mess. It was a device set in should a revolt every of started from within the coven domain. Slowly, he weeded the witches from the ruins with a devious grin. They would all be forced back onto the city streets and eventually have to turn to the small district office on the other side of town. Cutting their force drastically, and all through the plot of Claudius’s father to regain their family name with honor.
“ Well, well, well, what a lovely little home I’m setting up here.” The man grinned to himself. Waiting for his latest pet to appear once more. Eyes not turning off the screen for he was aware of everything around him in this hole in the ground.

"Oh its just lovely, right wonderful in fact. I'm sure most right minded people would choose to live in a damn hole in the ground if they wanted."
Lydinys stepped into the room in the wake of his own sarcastic drawl. He'd just spent a few hours making walls of burning metal rush at witches to shoo them out of the tunnels and he was abjectly miserable. It was only a month ago that he'd been awoken from his slumber in the metal of the bridge and since then he'd been moving from one dark hole to another, following around the annoying bastard that had somehow managed to bond himself to Lydinys.
He squatted down on the floor next to his new master and glanced disinterestedly at the screens. He spoke in the same sarcastic drawl from his position at the man's elbow.
" Now that you've had me scare off all of the pathetic saps that this city calls witches what is my most mighty and powerful masters command?"

Ulrike grinned at these words. Almighty… powerful. He lavished them like a drug. With a careless wave of his hand he almost seemed to shoo the dragon off.
“ Get about the city. Find out where your kin are kept, get their confidence. I need to figure out the best way to bond them to myself and away from any current masters they may have. Hmm…. Try to make me a list of who’s who, and where they are hiding. It has to be easy for you. Oh Dragon of Earth.” he mocked with that same wicked grin of a killer plastered upon his human face. Oh how the tide would turn now he had this precious gem. He would be known even more then he already was.
“ Don’t alarm them to my plans… or I might have to extract the wrath of your people’s judgment upon you. You know… make you wish you were never born.” He threatened him. Having found that ancient book and with the help of Lillith the ancient vampire he would have this dragon bending to his every whim with the aid of that bond of theirs.
“ And… you better not complain about my little homes. Their damn good and you know it. Hey, at least we don’t have to pay for them right?” He smirked playfully as he spun about the chair in puckish glee.
“ Oh and on your way home. Pick up a steak for the both of us. Where going to be eating good tonight my friend!” He laughed as he patted the top of the dragons head like his favorite pet dog. Oh yeah… he would have this city rocking under his command when he was done. Fucking Delano didn’t know how to have fun at all, kill this. Segregate that, that was all foolish child’s play of a fearful man. No… his goal was to collect all the power he could. So in the end, every whim was his. Death, bloodshed, these were useless to him no… partying… now that was something this guy had in mind. A endless party! Oh hell yeah… and all the women he could find. Hmm…. Sex and rock and roll. What could be better?

Lydinys sat silently through his masters spiel, watching as a terrified looking witch fled across one of the screens, closely pursued by two dark hulking shapes. When he was quite sure the man was finished talking he stretched his arms above his head and yawned.
"Right you are, Mr N. I wander around the city and sniff out all the supernaturals. Perfect timing of course, they will have all gone to ground with the rising sun so I'm gonna have an abundance of people to talk to. And I'm your errand boy as well am I? You'll be sending me out for the laundry next."
He rocked onto the balls of his feet and then up to a standing position, turning to leave the room. The workmanlike shirt and dark trousers morphed into something altogether more touristy as he moved so that by the time he got to the door he could easily be mistaken for an out of towner come to see the sites.

“ Well tonight is the full moon and I don’t think your going to get much information out of a dog. Anyway there is the old Coven tower to snoop about. From what I gather paranormals have been collecting there. That may be a good start.” He grinned devilishly as the man brought up laundry.
“ Oh thanks for reminding me. You can do that to!” Ulrike called back over his shoulder as the man turned to leave. It was already late afternoon in the city, only a few more hours till sundown. By the time he ran errands the sun would most likely be down.
“ It’s still in the car outside.” He laughed. Knowing the guy was only making a wise crack but hell it was too good to pass up.
