Welcome to Cheshire City my friend, the place that never sleeps and whom residents all hold a secret. Don’t be scared though. They mean no harm, or in the least most of them do not. You see, during the day the humans live here. Going about their everyday lives, not knowing what lurks just inches from their precious light. Hiding in the shadows and biding their time till the sun falls deep and the moon rises high. Then, then it is their time to rule. To lurk and take their payment for being imprisoned here in this hell. You see, the city draws many of the darkness to it’s fold. No one knows why, but well, some say it is because this city is truly the hell of old. Others say it is heaven, though these folk may be as madd as I am you see.
All the same, there is always something going on here, always a tale to tell. City life never stops you see, and it all links together like the chains of slavery. Each link, connecting both beginning to end in orderly fashion, just as each resident is somehow involved in the next city dwellers life. If they know of it or not, their all connected in their insanity, their misery, their life. So come on in, find a place to call home, and enter the city. If you dare.
plot
A new day has dawned and the feared Delano is dead. Killed by a unseen hand that is rumored to be one of the greatest hunters ever. His bounty fulfilled he now is relaxing in this new place. This new town, if it’s hip enough maybe, just maybe he’ll turn it into his permanent home. This killer of those that live in the dark. He has recently though found the advantage of one race, the dragon race. They make good little pets to do his laundry, as well as his bidding. Very powerful, very destructive, much to his likening. Now he is on a quest to imprison the city’s dragons, bind them with spells from a good old friend of his to his being. To make them all his slaves.
Though while his sights are upon the reptilian race, another battle is forged within the city. Three were pack leaders have gone missing. Only the Southern Pack leader, Marius the tiger were remains. Who will take over these packs and restore order to the beastial race of demons? No one knows….. But maybe… just maybe you are the one that can restore order to this city of anarchy?

"That's understandable..." Julius remarks as his eyes lock on Claudius's wings. He just stares for a few seconds before asking, "Would it be okay if..." He grins like an idiot, "...If i touch your wing? When i make mine they're all frozen darkness but i've always wanted to feel a real wing."

Inudlal looked to the were rat, "Well I'm needing to know what all changes Zairre has been going through if she has talked about them at all with them two having a little demon of their own soon," he said trying not to sound mean but there was no telling what would come from that breeding and if they would act like their parents or being powerful crazied beings. He wanted to talk more about it to his brother but he knew how the great dragon of darkness could be about things.
He did not want to piss his brother off nor endanger Arlen with this news by the witchs getting it.

Kesika simply glanced back at the noise, her eyes shifting between Adrian and Claudius a few times before she shrugged, tilting a little far to one side thanks to her skewed balance.
"And I'm the one plastered, seriously." She rolled her eyes and just continued on her way out of teh bar, quite oblivious to just who's tail the white haired man had tripped over.

Adrian nodded at Claudius then sighed as he followed Kesika out of the bar and into the city streets.
(( I'll put a new link to a thread heading for the shop in a moment XD ))
---
Claudius sighed as Adrian and his ex-coworker moved off to god knows where, his own friend distracting him with a strange question.
" I guess.....most witches.... get creeped out by this." He pointed out as he opened his one wing towards him with the bony wing joint hand flexing a bit like a extra arm in a matter of fact manner.

Comrade looked to Indulal, unsure of what to say. Instead he just shrugged.
" Haven't been paying attention." He told the dragon, playing it cool for he was protecting one of his workers.

Paws as black as night clicked on cold pavement, tail swishing lightly in the dim street lights, slipping along the edges of the city street cautiously. Vivid azure eyes stood out against a dark black pelt and a wet nose twitched at the air, testing it cautiously. The wolfen form stopped at a street, watching as a car flew by, buffeting the canines fur. She shivered before cantering across, generally unseen during the late hour. The wolf passed into an alleyway, weaving around debris and trash before coming around a corner, a building with the words 'Cheshire Cat Pub' looming above. The wolf studied the name a moment as if reading it and then gave a sneeze and trotting inside. The black wolf looked around the room with sky blue eyes before padding forward carefully, senses alert and wary. She could smell the alchohol on the breath of many inhuman creatures, none seeming to be what she was looking for. She stopped as her nose sniffed across leathery gorgoyle skin. It was odd, and didn't quite smell like a night creature. Confused and curious, she tilted her head slightly, tugging at the end of the tail with her jaw quizically, sitting back on her haunches.
"Go ahead and run, Aoi. Run far away, and keep running, because no matter how far you go, I will find you, and the destruction that follows will be your fault. It will all be because of you."

"Well I don't think it's creepy... but i'm not your everyday witch." He says with an easy smile, "My dad wasn't either. For the last few generations we've been pretty much a father-son thing." He looks up and around, "So we finished here captain? What's next?"

" Oh? Is it your power? Or something else?" he asked him with a gentle assuring smile like a mentor would to it's student, waiting for him to reply before continuing.
" Yeah sure, we can head out on the streets to help you get a feel of the layout of the city." he told him as he stopped feeling a tug on his tufted tail. He turned around with a frown, seeing the were having a hold of his leathery skin tail. He frowned at this.
" Can I help you?" he asked as he wrapped his wings about himself like a bird unsure of anothers intentions. His teal orbs watched and waited for a response.

The wolf tilted it's head slightly, azure hues meeting teal for a moment as her tail waved slightly, showing she was at least not hostile. A bark was the only audible answer she could give. It made her more than a little frustrated. Her curse prevented her from communicating aside from telepathy, but it would only work if this...gorgoyle or whatever it was knew with one-hundred percent certainty what she was. Simply having a suspicion or being patially sure wouldn't be enough. She wasn't even sure if this being was a gargoyle or not. She gave a huff, standing on all fours again and took a short step forward, oddly intellegent eyes still watching him as she scented him curiously. She made a small grumbling noise, nosing one of his...er...hands?

Claudius frowned as he watched the were. He was 100% sure it was one for that would be the only animal that would -WILLINGLY- enter this abode that smelled like death and blood from the vampires and other predatory creatures within it's walls. He sighed as he shook his head.
" You need to shift back, I can't understand wolf without a translation charm." He told her, not preforming the charm since it would drain his energy a tad and make his headache worse when he turned back to his human illusion. He looked to Julius for a moment before feeling the wolf nuzzle his hand a bit.
" Okay, well what do you want?" He asked again since well. The man had alot to do and he couldn't play games here all night with a were who didn't want to shift back to tell him what she wanted.

The wolf perked it's ears slightly, eyes lighting up. <So you do know what I am then. Well then, this saves me a lot of trouble. I'll get right to it then.> An odd, feminine voice rang in his head. <I can't change my form to that of a humans anymore. Consider it a curse. Likewise, your not a true gargoyle, are you? Your scent is far from one.> She inquired, wrapping her tail around her paws. <Oh, and lest you be deemed a little insane, your the only one who can hear me right now, and I can't read minds so you'll have to talk to a wolf instead of a human for now, sad as it may be.>

" Well it won't seem out of place in this bar." He pointed out as he waved his hand over to a group of were's across the room, some in human shape, some in halfbreed shape and others yet in their feral form.
" As you noticed. It's a place for paranormals and as far as I am concerned.... I am as I seem, no more no less." he told her not exactly answering her question. His name, well it was well known in this city, either with hate or with fondness so he figured it was best to leave that out for now.
" Is there something you want?" He got straight to the point, looking to Julius who was a bit quiet.
" If you wish to join in on the conversation, you may cast a translation spell." he told the youth, sort of a test to see how much he actually knew in the magic department.

The were licked her lips a moment. Well...whether or not he casts that spell, it won't do much good. I'm using telepathy, speaking into your mind more or less. I can sometimes speak into more than one persons mind, but I'm tired and I've had a long journey.> She explained, yawning a moment as if to demonstrate. Now let me be straight forward here, since you at least seem the knoweledgable type. I'm trying to find a witch. Someone powerful. I'm in a bit of a predicament and I need to speak to one soon.> She stated bluntly.

Claudius frowned a bit at this.
" A witch? I'm afraid you won't find a witch in -this- city that is willing to help out a night breed easily. If you had not heard, there was just a nasty battle over the ideals of someone who thought the nightbreed should be treated as a equal and not as trash for he was part of their ranks. Didn't go over too well." He yawned casually, looking over to Julius for a second to hint to him that this was a information tactic he loved to use before revealing who he truely was. His scent was pretty much gargoyle at the moment, his cloths retaining a small scent of the witch he used to be though many would take it for him being near a witch.
" What do you need a powerful witch for anyway? Many a person in this city would think you crazy for looking for one, it's only trouble." He spoke to her as he settled in his chair for a moment as he looked down to the canine. He then used his power though to casually brush his hand against Julius's in order to pass a spell to him to relay the information he was hearing from this creature upon the floor so the witch would have a idea on what was going on.

She flattened her ears slightly. <*sigh*...yoroshii...my pack were once Were's who could change their form more willingly than most. When my packmates crossed a witch once before, she cursed us so we could not return to our human shapes. We aren't effected by the moon anymore...but as you can see, with things as they are with me, it's hardly much of a blessing. The short story is, many of the pack were angered by this and sought a dark witch who changed them into something...horrible. I fled before I could become like them, but...they would not let me off so easily. They've been tracking me and attacking and destroying anyone who gets in their way. I can't do anything to stop them. In my state, I'm little more than a stray wolf. I can hardly communicate with anyone, much less ask for help.> She gave a sad whine, taking a deep breath. <...katsumata are.. this witch that you mentioned, who wanted to help night breeds but you said hadn't had things go well...whatever happened to him?> She inquired curiously, eyeing him carefully.

Inudlal looked to Comrade sighed rubbing his forehead a bit, "Something like what they creature and spawn will be powerful you must know that," He whispered, "I'm trying to protect them these offspring might cause a lot of chaos and there is sure to be individuals after them you of all people must know this," he whisper sternly trying to make reason out of his own jumbled thoughts. His tail lashed behind him a bit as he let his wings flick for a sec before relaxing against looking to the rat with crystal clear blue orbs of concern.

(( Waiting for foxxling to post before replying with Claudius. ))
Comrade yawned, sounding disinterested in the dragons words. He was protecting his worker, and well... tolerating Dark despite the fact he often hated the man.
" I know nothing of it, nor where they have gotten to. Sorry." The rat spoke up for the first time offering up no information, at least not for the moment. Even if money was presented..... he actually would continue to play dumb, he took care of his employee's for the most part, unless he truly detested them.

Inudlal sighed shaking his head as he spoke, "So be it but if you see my brother give him a warning I feel others shall come after them and mean harm to their gift of choas they shall bring to the world," he said. Whatever that woman was carrying was not only dragon and semi elemental due to her blood but it carried within its veins the blood of darkness its self.
He finished his drink and smiled leaving his money for the bar tender getting up to leave and looked over his shoulder, "I also wish you luck in dealing with more of the felines when their born," he said winking at him before heading out the door.

Comrade stood there smirking at the money he had gained but stopped and snorted a bit wide eyed as he remarked about there being more felines in the place...
" ...... I'm fucked." he whined in a displeased matter as he realized.... perhaps he should of told him where the bastard was at least.... maybe with one cat out of his hair..... well.... yeah....

((Sorry guys))
Julius starts as Claudius's spell pushes the telepathic thoughts he's receiving from the were into his own head. Quietly he listens for a second before saying, "Before we tell you what happened to him, what exactly have the other members been transformed into?"

Her maw wrinkled slightly as if beginning to growl, the memories clear as yesterday in her mind. <Kitanai akki! Their anger against the witch made them nothing more than bloodthirsty demons! They were hidiously transformed... and no one listened to me.> She snapped mentally. <To them, it was unexceptable that I should rather flee them be transformed into something so horrible!> She gave a sigh and shuddered before looking back up. <Watashi wa gomen nesai... I'm exhuasted and on edge. I fear every moment I remain idle they only draw nearer...>

" Yes, what sort of help do you want? Any witch or that certain male? As for what happened to him." Claudius started then stopped.
" He was on a case one night with his partner.... sad to say.... he was cursed himself by the nightbreed he was chasing that night.... they killed his partner, he killed one of their own..He hid his curse for a pretty long time but then the coven found out. They sent him to the guillotine to be be-headed. The coven has a rule.... it's called 'Betrayal of Species' Sometimes... one who is cursed to another breed starts to sympathize with that breed... they may in turn relay secrets to that breed and make the coven vulnerable... so if they execute those who could be traitors.... then they won't be betrayed... in theory." He frowned remembering watching the executions... they were always public... and all heads of the coven had to attend. That was why so many of their own committed suicide if cursed..... it was a easier way out then to be humiliated in public. Claudius shook his head with a sigh, his tail snapping just a bit.
" Some people think he escaped... that he leads the current revolt against the coven and is out to start a new one based on equality, others think it's just rumors." He assured her to wait for her reaction as he looked to Julius a bit through his raven bangs, almost as if to say silently what have us witches become.....

She sighed, ears drooping. <Honestly...With how things are now, it doesn't really matter, as long as they have the power to help. And where exactly can I find this witch you keep mentioning...?> She asked inquisitively, looking at Claudius. <...Or might 'he' already be here?>
